that piece that you took from the old screen to the new screen is what allows it to recognize touch input right? anywho i got no touch input at all on mine but the screen works now. did i miss something when i was putting the new screen in or is that little board the issue? also where can i buy a replacement board for that?

@@SushiMonkey you neen to take care not to touch the ends of ribbon cables, any contamination (dust, oil ect) may stop it making a connection take that little board off make sure the ribbon ends are clean an free from dust, on the screen, gently blow on the connector and make sure they're clean. reinstall the board, using tweezers are help full. make sure the ribbon cables are flat and squarely in the connector, use of a good light will aid you in checking the cables look correctly position check cable from the main screen and the cable is secure in the main unit. test before gluing the screen back. common problems damaging the zero insertion force connector, check on board that the pins look straigh and clean. ribbon cable not inserted correctly. if after checking for damage or dust and still not working you may have a faulty part hope this helpd
Got a question here.. Sis dropped her tablet, it hit on the corner, causing the screen to shatter. The corner is dented a little bit. If I replace the screen, will I also have reshape that corner too? Its the lower left one. Not a big dent, and I think the screen will still fit.

My samsung galaxy inside looks same. While lying down and watching the screen came out and that ribbon cable came out. Now we fixed cable by opening the clip inserting cable and pressing. But still screen is not coming. Can you help please
