      @@StarlinkHardwareI already purchased the Gen 3. Limited storage room in my travel trailer. The Gen 3 packs up much smaller.

    Awesome video!!! A question though, after going through the transfer process, can I reactivate it on same account but different address in a different continent?

      No, each Starlink account is based in a single country and cannot be changed. You will need a new Starlink account to change countries.

    Just Curious if you can input the Kit No on the Activate screen, to confirm the hardware has been transferred, allowing you to back out of completing the set up, without it upsetting the Starlink hardware. I'm curious as I dont want to be paying for a month use whilst im waiting for the hardware to be delivered.
    Secondly, I heard you can activate and deactivate the account as and when you need the service, so wondering if there are any consequences to turning on and off an account regularly, such as on one month, off the next and on the following month, as im thinking about using starlink when I'm traveling and not when im at home.
    Great video by the way, very relevant and to the point, I have just ordered a second-hand Gen 2 Starlink so will be curious to see how straightforward the whole process is. So have saved this video into my favourites.

      Yes, you can check a kit # without messing anything up. With the Roam plan you can pause billing when you don’t need to use Starlink. For the other plans, you can cancel and reactivate, effectively pausing.

    Hey, great Video! I followed all the steps but I got one Problem. For Info I moved from Germany to Greece. After setting up my Starlink it gets stuck in booting and on the Starlink website both Wlan and Starlink symbols are red. It says for all the options it has to be online of course. Any ideas? I checked all the connections multiple times and nothing is in the way of the dish. I can't understand what I did wrong. Is it the hardware or is there maybe a mistake in the transferring process?

    I'm finding videos on kits. But I just had a router stop on me, and am buying a new router. Is there info on doing that. Thanks

      It’s just plug and play with the router. It’s not tied to the account like the dish.

      @ change the name on my account. Change the email and phone number is easy. But I can't find the way to change the name. I want to change my name to my workplace name.🙏

    great. I want to ask, sir, what happens if I move countries and change my package in the new country? or selling to someone from another country and want to buy a service package in the new country? do you still use the same method?

      Yes, it doesn't really matter as every dish is unlocked and can be activated on any service plan in any country. Just needs to be transferred from the original owners account before being activated by the new owner.

    How to replace the Starlink router with a used same one?

      It's a plug and play replacement, the routers are interchangeable and are not associated with the account or anything like that.

    I just purchased a used dish, but am waiting to turn it on when i move into the new house.. can i activate it, but pause it until i move, 30-60 days? or should i just hold off activating it for the first day in the new house.

      I would activate it right away to prevent the KIT# from being accidentally activated by someone else. After activation, just cancel/pause your subscription and resume it when you move.

    Do I need to keep my account active until I have a buyer to transfer service to? Or can I go back into my account after service has been shut off to transfer it?

    Hi, I bought v3 mobile regional but never activated it. Further I immediately paused my account. Now I want to cancel service but cancel option not available. I want to buy the mini as it is more in line with my needs. Can you advise me? TYI Joel

    how about the seller did not give me the account and i don't have the access can i activate a new account to used the starlink ?

      If the seller transferred the equipment out of their account and gave you the KIT# or serial number, yes, you can just activate it on your own account. If the seller did not release the equipment, nothing can be done with the dish.

    What if the Starlink kit is unopened and has not been activated. New kit from seller on ebay

      If it has been successfully transferred out of the eBay sellers Starlink account and you didn’t activate it, you are good to transfer it to someone else, or activate yourself.

    Funny how one video tells you to us the Starlink ID # starting with "ut" while another popular video tells you to use the Router ID #. Which one is it???

      Wasn’t one of my videos telling you Router ID #. The router has nothing to do with your subscription, while the dish ID does. So you need the Starlink ID/serial #/KIT #

    Unfortunately one step done wrong in the process and your done. you've bought a paper weight STARLINK will not help you what so ever!!!! If you can even get them to respond, awesome idea for sure but the worst customer service of any business!!

      Yep, and a lot of people out there trying to take advantage of that and scam people. Meeting in person where you can inspect the dish, and activate it right there on your phone is preferable to avoid mistakes.
