To your video reference point, in our desperation, we sometimes turn to idolatry, just like the children of Israel. When God was speaking to Moses on the mountain, the children on Israel felt as if they were waiting for too long and that Moses might not come back so they made for themselves idols. Similarly, we tend to get impatient in our waiting and when waiting becomes wearying and burdensome, we turn to idolatry. Unfortunately, subtly, those persons seem to be idolizing marriage and possibly yourself, but I really pray they'll run to the source of all things with their concerns and pour out their hearts to Him, taking instructions from God and God alone. May their hearts find REST in God!
