I really recommand playing 1 Skull Meister in the side deck. Its a searcheable handtrap in that deck, it's very good against Fire King and other decks in the meta right now and it also is a level 4 that you could end up normal summon in some weird hands to help you synchro climb.
I love resonators but it’s problem is that it just dies to most hand traps especially D shifer or a well targeted imperm on red rising dragon or crimson resonator. It wouldn’t be so bad if soul resonator, crimson resonator, and bone archfiend didn’t hard lock you into specifically dark dragon synchros 😕
You need to harddraw into the crossouts in order to compete with this deck. I can recommend to include 3 prosperity in your list in order to have a higher chance of seeing a crossout in your starting hand.
RDA main here... At most you should play two Crimson. You can use the third slot for another lvl 4 extender like Catalyzing Zalamander or Wandering King so you don’t always have to lock yourself into dark dragon synchro. If you use any resonator besides crimson and any lvl 4 fiend besides Bone you don’t have the dark dragon synchro ED lock. Also you don’t need Foolish Burial if you have Bone. Bone can dump Vision from the deck with its lvl manipulation effect. If Vision is in your hand you can discard it for cost same thing applies to Crimson and Obsessive. Edit: Also you’re underestimating the OG RDA. If you go into Scarred first and climb with him, he’ll deal with link monsters as long as they don’t have destruction protection. Paired with Crimson Gaia, OG RDA book of moons your opp entire field and destroys all defense position monsters when it attacks one. You’re getting rid of very problematic negate boards like it’s nothing; especially, if you tech and resolve 1 Absolute Power Force and turn him into a Chaos Max that can’t be responded to. And it’s super easy to special summon him, bcuz as stated earlier, most of the deck’s combos get him for free climbing with Scarred. To say it’s a waste at two tells me you don’t play this deck enough. But you can play stronger bosses in this hand trap/crossout variant like Chaos Angel. For example using Abyss/Bane’s effect during battle phase to special summon Effect Veiler from deck/grave and using it with Abyss. Dumping it in grave from crossout or using it, banishing it off Obsessive, and special summoning it off Dis Pater to go into it. This deck can still build very strong disruptive boards with negates and it’s follow up is strong as well. T1 hand traps just suck but ehhh some people just have the heart of the cards on their side 😭
I think what your comment illustrates is the difference between someone who plays the deck casually vs someone who mains the deck. im happy with my current list, but know its had tough matchups across the board. maybe if i make these changes those tough matchups will be easier

Explore incorporating EB Stone Sweeper, Synchro Zone. Synchro Call and/or Skull Meister into the build. I play RDA as one of my rogue and it serves me well with these cards. I run 3x Skull Meister for the negation and 2x DD Crow. There is no need to play 3x Bone Archfiend, 2 is actually good. Because it never is a card you really want to draw into. You will almost ALWAYS search it with Soul Resonator. Once it is in the GY, you can bring it back. Well, Barone has been banned and I am currently looking for a good replacement for it, although I am considering just taking Abyss to 3.
I’m not a crossout fan based on my testing. I feel that it’s way too reactive unlike talents and thrust. While crossout hits specific weaknesses of the deck, it’s a horrible topdeck. RDA is unique in the sense that a lot of its follow up plays are in the grave (bone, red rising, wildwind) and don’t need to be top decked, which combos really well with topdeck talents. I would probably play another thrust and maybe duster and some other targets, but I would also play zalamander catalyzer. It’s a tech that plays pretty well through nib, letting you end on 2 ish interrupts through nib, and it makes the deck a little less bricky. Revz Cards has some combos involving the card on his channel. Sick video btw.
Huh? Talents and Thrusts are reactive as well since you need your opponent to activate a monster effect in your MAIN PHASE. Triple crossout makes your play unstoppable, and it can be used in more phases compared to Talents and Thrusts. Crossout also indirectly thins your deck. Talents and Thrusts helps you recover in case you get hard stopped by your opponent. I run 2 of each in my RDA main deck.

With the number of grave effects, you can proactively bait turn 3+ boards to turn on talents cards. As a result, talents cards are drastically better in the grind game. In terms of deck thinning, the talents cards themselves provide consistency that can be used to push through certain interrupts anyway. And thrust gets turned on by monster effects in any phase.
@Chris-lp3fu You are right, Thrust is not locked in the main phase. Although I would still use Crossout along with Called by the grave, to help me stop opponent's disruptions. RDA main deck engine does not have a way to play against handtraps, so Crossout makes a lot of sense.
Have you tried the Supay package in here? Also, is what you said about Scarred Dragon Archfiend the official ruling that it is in fact a "Red Dragon Archfiend" card?

Ima get Fire King cuz mainly theres a sychro monster i can use in my main deck. But i love sychro and jack atlas and carly i mainly play her fortune ladies deck which plays second just like jacks deck is better second. I loved these videos cuz im slowly transitioning from Master duels into TCG and Im in NYC so theres MANY LOCALS

RDA main speaking here, there’s so many things missing from this imo, should definitely run the bystial engine as it can get into the calamity lock, should definitely be running more non tuners like wildwind. Profile is decent but could definitely be more optimized for competitive.
I really tried to make a build that utilized the bystials but I was never happy with the list. This version having more defensive cards allowed for the main combo to go through easier which I definitely preferred. But! I'm not a main, so I'll take your recommendation into consideration!
My issue with the Bystials is that given the current format and the mass surge of FIRE decks, they won't get their Quick Effect summons very often, and you don't have enough targets to banish in the Main to get them out consistently. They'll do well against Purrely from my observation, but even then the targets are woefully small in number.

But you have a lot of darks in the main to target as well as the extra deck cus dis pater can just summon back anything you banish.
i played this deck a lot , and "King Wirlwind" helpt me so often to extent through boards :) i hate to be locked on bone as the only non tuner of the main deck if you have more extenders in main , you can start playing around handtraps and interrupts :P i proft that on my littel chanel / show it on the replays :) i really like the deck but i think the deck miss a another support card , that glue´s everythink toghter , and we need a another "Dark dragon Synchro" monster that is an Negate like a monster like "Cristalwing" sorry for my bad english xD
the problem with lvl 4 extenders is that soul iis a lvl 3 so the only synchro you could summon if bone or soul are negated is kuibelt. Then you need anothe tuner to climb into abyss to get at least 1 negate
yeay youre right, but try to do somethink is better for me , than do nothing :D my favorite starting line is "Crimson Resonator" + "Wirlwind" , if i get handtrapt i can start playing with Soul an co :D because i dont use my normal summon for the start of the comboline :D@@falcowolf27
Been maining this deck for a few months now. I use bystials but have always been interested in playing a more hand trap heavy deck like this. I do like bystials because they give great extension, disruption and have good synergy with dis pater. However an imperm on red rising is very devastating which makes me want to consider other monsters. Also my ED is exact same as yours except swapping king calamity with baronne. I agree with running two copies of each of the RDAs it helps the grind game so much. I am wondering what combos you’re starting with crimson to run it at 3, I run it at 1. The only one I know is there’s some insane two card combos with bone archfiend but I feel like extra copies of vision is more helpful for extension. Also what do you think about pot of prosperity? Have found it helps with consistency and also gets banishes to make dis pater active.
I've been using Supay Duskwalker and Supay instead of bystials. I''ve tried bystials and they just made my hands very akward. Zalamander Catalyser is also a good adition for extension if red rising gets impermed.

If you increase your monster count, I guarantee you you won’t find any problems that’s why most people will go with wandering king Wildwind paired with the red engine because the red engine is specifically for getting your resonator, which is a main complaint I’ve heard nine times and I know it came with the structure deck so you have access to it I do believe it is played better at 60 cards because you have access to everything you need. Yes, you run the risk of inconsistency or a bad hand every once in a while but it’s better than just being told no by every shut down in the game and having nothing to do.

Nahh against only One ht with more extender you can male anyways fullboard i play the deck from day 1 of structure i tested all decklist
Try playing it with void apocalypse or the centur-ion engine
Been running the RDA deck for awhile our major weakness is the disruption on the synchro climbs, it’s a very situational deck.
Very you have to add more hand traps and meta cards to help along with board breakers

Instead of playing Harrpies's feather duster, I personally play Scarlit Securety because it is a searchable/recyclable duster.

@@gabudaichamuda2545banishing your own monsters and reviving with Dis Pater is very common. Some lists are playing 2 Dis Pater now
