its worth noting 1 wildwind is still rly good bc it lets crimson + soul play past shifter/macro, so its usually worth trying to fit in 1, there are a few unique lines that benefit from exactly 1 wildwind. nice list and congrats on second place!
@@NotoriousYGO cause crimson wildwind is one of the best combos in RDA, doesnt use your normal, and wildwind isn't an activated effect either, goes to the graveyard for a search next turn, and is generally insane level 4 besides bone
Big Generic Blowouts is Jack Atlas's goal anyways. Love the list and explanations since I'm in the process of learning the deck in paper. I've been messing with it on MD and Duel Links for a long time now but as of now my paper deck is just Synchron and I want the Jack Atlas to my Yusei Fudo decks y'know.
Love the deck profile, really opened my eyes to some lines of play I wouldn’t have otherwise considered! If you have time, I have two questions: 1) when using prosperity, how many do you usually banish and what targets? I tend to play very conservatively with my resources and I usually go with Kuibelt, a Red Rising, and Scarlight, but I’m sure there’s some other targets that I’m too hesitant to pick or just don’t see. 2) what are some good cards to swap out when siding? I know this will depend heavily on matchup, but just a rule of thumb on what cards the deck can afford to lose for side deck cards. Thanks again for a killer deck profile and I can’t wait to take this deck to locals!
1. Prosperity - it depends on when I’m using prosp and what I’m digging for. End of combo looking for non engine? I’ll probably banish 3, and choose to get rid of Kuibelt, Second Abyss (one copy should be on board), and Supernova (assuming I didn’t go for supernova combo, I usually don’t). Start of turn looking for engine? I’ll banish 6. I have 7 targets I think I can live with banishing. Second Abyss, Kuibelt, Baronne, Second OG RDA, Scarlight, Void Ogre, and Supernova. 2. When siding I typically don’t touch any of my engine pieces, I’ll swap non engine for non engine. Prosperity almost always stays in when going first (being able to dig for side deck blowouts post combo is nice). I can make a siding video if you’d likr
@@NotoriousYGOA siding video would be wonderful, if it’s not too much to ask. I learned to play through master duel and have only gone to locals a handful of times so siding effectively is still a bit of a challenge for me. Also thanks for the prosperity targets, should be able to make the most of the card now.
Man, seeing this has made me 100% sure that I need an uvaloop. I’ve ordered one online so that I can consistently use red zone, but for the time being I think I have to stick to fiendish golem. Great list!
Good stuff. I plan to play the deck tomorrow at locals. Hopefully i dont get too destroyed. I feel the decks weakspots are the chokepoints. DD crow which might become more popular and bystials of course. Not to mention that Nib is also a thing. My build will therefore also run crossouts. Im not Sure though if i play bystials or pure.
If you’re worried about get hung up on the choke points a small Bystial package can help you out. It will give you something to do if Red Rising Target Crinson doesn’t resolve
@@NotoriousYGO i c, yeah i mean the combo is rather predictable and i also think people know about it so i am curious about the recovery options and alternate lines. What do you think about Etude into chaos Angel (lubellion+lvl2) or calamity? I think it can improve the quality of first turn. Also i am debating assault synchron with bystials.
Hi, i have some questions about some cards which i think are interesting. I would like to know what you mean about that. - foolish burial - resonator engine - resonator command - burning soul - absolute powerforce - time to stand up - red reign - fiendish chain - king calamity
Thanks that you make a video about my questions I hope that you can say something about EVERY card I have questions about. By the way in my version of your deck I put the crossout in side and baroness to Dragocytos Corrupted Nethersoul Dragon. I think it's a good powerful replacement, but he is only for battle power not for negations. But baroness is to expensive for me.
This is really good an all but what do think about using the p.u.n.k engine with the bystial monsters ? I haven't tried it yet but it can also be good with duskwalker by red rising's effect to summon a resonator, but i still want you'r opinion on this one. And what about DAWNWALKER? i actually tried it and i think it can be really helpful if you can get a free lv8?
Hard to say. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Bystial Res is more reliant on its normal summon, had less room for non engine, and the Bystials aren’t great into every matchup. Bystial Res plays through Droll, D Barrier, D Shifter, and other floodgates better. One Bystials can be an auto win in certain matchups. Pure Res has a hard time playing into floodgates or counter cards, and has exactly one contingency plan if your combo gets stopped, “I hope I drew a handtrap”. Pure Res can extend better against an opponent that doesn’t wait for the Red Rising/Crimson choke point, has a decent amount of space for flexible non engine, and can play less predictably into known interaction. I think the determining factor as to which version is better is the strength of generic non engine vs Bystials.
You can still combo if you open Dusk + Vision or Soul. If you don’t open any combination of Dusk + Soul, Crimson, Vision, Bone, Resonator Call, or Crimson Gaia then you’ve opened with 4 handtraps and you’ll survive the turn with a chance to draw into an acceptable combo piece
Small World isn't necessarily terrible, since several resonators can bounce between each other and you usually want a specific resonator to start with.
Small World is great in this deck. If Small World is still a little outside of your budget play something like Pot of Desires. When Earthbound Prisoner Stone Sweeper is released play that. It searches level 3 or lower fiend tuners.
@@NotoriousYGOsmall world is actuel at 6€ via cm. But you Play 3 prosperity but desires is semi Limited, so What can the 3rd Card for this prosperity replacement? And what can I play instead of crossout? And for baroness?
Playing Fenrir is never a bad idea, but I don’t think it’s a good idea in this particular situation. Ideally you want cards that clear themselves off of the board so you can fully resolve Crimson Resonator. You’re only reliable way of Clearing your own Fenrir is to synchro it off with Synkron.
The effects of Red Rising to special two level 1’s from graveyard does come up, but very rarely. In my experience when it does present itself it’s not a strong enough interaction to pull out a win. I’d rather play the third copy of a handtrap than another Synkron.
@@NotoriousYGO Red rising's graveyard eff is insane, so good that I run 3 Synkron just to make sure I can dump one and draw one for abyss, once the game goes into turn 2-3, Red Rising really helps you play through negations with that 2nd eff and the fact it isn't even once per turn is insane, also immediately comes back with red zone
I like them. It’s nice to have a secondary engine that plays around your main engine’s weak spots. I think both versions are good and the title of “best version to play” will depend almost entirely on the strength of Bystials vs Generic non engine in the meta game
