The Significance of Holy Spirit Baptism in the Birth of the Church - Not Like Most Teach Today

- The baptism of the Holy Spirit has sadly been reduced to something for only a few or for some specific church denomination. A significant part of the 'church' is missing out on this and the new birth. It is wrong to view this as something only for a few. That is the birth of the church, that is the new birth we need. That is the finished work of the cross.
It happened not on the cross or in John 20 as many teach, but on Pentecost, the day the Jews celebrated Shavuot and the Feast of Weeks. The giving of the law on Mount Sinai and the first harvest.
This was 50 days after the Passover and the saving out of Egypt by the blood of the lamb.
Like Pentecost in Acts 2, which was 50 days after Jesus died. So Jesus died as our Passover lamb. But the new heart and new spirit prophesied like here happened on Pentecost:
Ezekiel 11:19 "I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God."
This did not happen on the cross. This did not happen on the day of resurrection. This happened after Jesus went to heaven and presented himself as the final sacrifice and then sent his Spirit down here. And so the church was born.
This is powerful when you see it, and this reveals that the baptism of the Spirit is what the Bible says it is. This is the birth of the church, of the believers, and not just an extra power for those who want it.
Sadly, Satan has deceived many people today into not getting fully born again. Yes, I have much more to say about this. Please watch this new teaching as it will help you understand this very important truth and how this is for you and all God will call on.

I've been a Christian for years and I finally received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on February 22, 2023. I received it while praying at home alone in my prayer room as I was interceding on behalf of others. All of a sudden the Holy Spirit started praying through me in another language. I was speaking in tongues. It was intense, it was a powerful, it was not me, it was fully God. I don't know what I was saying but I believe I was battling in the spirit for salvations. Since then, the Holy Spirit often prays through me for others.
Thank you, Brother Torben, for this teaching. It cleared up some things I had always wondered about. To the people who are arguing against Torben's words: look at the book of Acts and compare how closely his life aligns with it when you watch his videos. Now, look at the fruit of your beliefs-honestly.

Passover, then 3 days in the tomb, 40 days walking on Earth after the resurrection, 7 days waiting for the Holy Spirit, equals 50 days after Passover is Pentecost.

David Pawson gives an explanation for when the Lord Jesus breathed on his disciples. He was illustrating what was to happen at Pentecost. They then had confirmation of His words. I'm sure this is a parallel to Genesis when God breathed life into the clay creating Adam.
