A couple of lithium products I have (Weedeater and hedge trimmer) had really low run time until the batteries went through a few charge cycles. Do you think it may be the same for this mower?
Given that a 5AH battery costs around $138 at Home Depot and they are currently selling this mower for $348 (with 2 batteries). DeWalt could sell this mower for $65 sans batteries and charger for folks who intend to use their existing batteries.
On Amazon I think you can get two 5AH batteries for $150, I just got two flex volt 6AH for $180. Retail stores really jack up the price.
Oh, so this comes with the batteries? That’s actually a pretty solid deal then. I was worried about having to buy 2 batteries in addition to getting the mower.
Meanwhile in UK £370 bare unit lol
I want to know run time with proposed flex battery it was meant to use with
Hey guys, i need some advice please. Looking at buying the Dewalt DCD796 combi drill. I've got 2 prices - £140 with 2x 4AH batteries or £185 with 2x 5AH. Should i pay an extra £45 for the 2 bigger batteries (1ah difference) just for DIY. What u think?
Got this mower about a month ago and i love it but.....
My 4 complaints are
1: the battery cover is not closing tight enough and rattles all the time.
2: the height adjust lever is slack in the position comb and makes clunky noise
3: the paint is cheap and the deck bottom chipped at several places.
4: you must lift if off the grass so the blade can pickup speed or it wont start.
Would I buy it again? Yes because I already have the dewalt 20V ecosystem for all my other tools and I can do my lawn with 2 x 5Ah 20V with no problem, but it gets 7/10 because we expect a mower of this price to be flawless.
I've had the Worx 36V mower for eight years. I hesitated when originally buying it, but couldn't be happier. I have just over a third of an acre and can mow three times with a little charge still left. After six years, I had to buy another battery and at $180, I was grousing about it at first, but then realized that was only $30 a year. I'd have spent more than that on gas/oil, etc. I'm on two years on the second battery and have no issues. The only thing to know is that I do seem to have to make sure the blade is a little sharper than I did with the old gas mower, especially if the grass is a little wet or too tall. Of course, a sharper blade also means a better looking cut. I love Worx equipment - but their customer service isn't up to par.
So I am a Dewalt Kool Aid drinking fanboy. I waited until last year to get an electric mower. I was given the Ego as a gift and wanted to see if I would not have some apprehension This was launched in April at the Home Depot. You read the reviews and Dan and Eric have it right. It’s getting bashed on the reviews on how crappy the run time is and how bad the wheels are. Breaking off, mowing for under 10 minutes. I went to Lowe’s today and looked at the 40v Dewalt. The steel deck felt like a barrel trash can. I don’t know what Dewalt was thinking. Kobalt has a 80v lawnmower and ego has the 56v. They should have launched this as a flexvolt. Don’t put something on the market that doesn’t get the job done. I have played and seen the Other battery operated and I’m keeping my Ego. I was able to mow 3 lawns in one shot on the 7.5 amp battery and still had 1/2 the battery. I love Ego, but sometimes it leaves grass blades uncut. I have to pass over the lawn twice or cut in two different directions. Every one should know this is the beginning of this market. In 5-7 year Dewalt, Ego, Milwaukee, Stihl and everyone else will have very powerful amp outdoor equipment and make this look like 12v tools. Look it how far the hand tools have come in 5 years. Both Milwaukee and Dewalt have 12 amp batteries. It is a great time in tool advancement. These are the first of a new area that needs more power than they are set up for now.
Harry Bresch I'm a ego guy to thanks to Eric and Dan with there reviews .... I haven't bought the mower yet but my neighbor has and loves it just to pass on to you he seemed to have the spots like you do he says thats how he knows when to sharpen his blade he's told me as long as the blade is sharp he gets zero miss spots ...
JeeperJimbo 1990 thank you. It’s the only dissatisfaction I have with the mower. I have bought most of their product line and love it. The pole saw has been amazing and has been used by neighbors and friends. I love Ego and think they have a big future in the market. I have no gas powered tools anymore. I have Dewalt, Milwaukee, Rigid, Ego, Husky, and love the quality of all of them!!! I am big on getting the job done!! This lawnmower is sad and was released too early to get into the market.
Know whats funny I got 6 of my neighbors hooked on EGO's lol the pole saw and weedwacker/weedeater has been borrowed and done the selling on there products... This morning another neighbor was outside mowing with his EGO mower he had just bought it .....
Sounds like you could use the High Lift blade . Get them on amazon
I've been a fan of DeWalt a long time but starting to get sick of their shit. For instance the atomic lineup they made everything as cheap as possible the multi tool they made worst at a higher cost and it didn't last a year at work compared to the original I got 3 years out of it of HARD use and then they fixed it free. I prefer DeWalt because they manufacture more in America then most other companies but they just aren't keeping up. They have the 60v platform they were there first to do it yet they hardly have anything for it. The fact there is no 60v impact or multi tool blows my mind. No 12v ratchet with new 12v lineup and the stuff they did release is like 5 years behind. No 60v mower the run time on 60v blower is crap and that's after what 3 different models I mean I like the blower but it runs about 15 minutes. Trying to hold out and see if they have a big release coming but if they don't do something soon I might have to buy the new stubby impact once it's released and be done with them. I need a number of new tools for work and I don't want to buy their old stuff really when pretty much every other company has caught up and I can get comparable tools for less.
Dan getting Eric to cut his grass. Lol!
Finally!! Thank you!!!
My does not turn on it see the battery is full ???? From the handle. Or something is not workings I want to know the problem
thanks for video i do love Dewalt i'm getting it today
Have you tried with the more milli amp batteries?
I bought this mower. I can do my front and rear yard on 1/3 of a battery charge. I live in the city though.
Thanks for the review.
the one I bought at the end of summer 2018 takes one huge lipo batt not 2 screw gun batts
and I can mow WAY more than that on one charge
Love the #TIA crew !!
Been waiting for this beast! #tiacrew
Thank you guys for the review. I use the 9ah batteries and the run time is much better. I can’t wait to get my hands on the 12ah battery.
This mower + a pair of 12AH batteries and you have a $1000 push mower. Ridiculous
Totally agree but I am on that platform for all my tools so it makes sense for me.
Great job need my lawn mowed time you guys wanna come over:😂
Any idea when dewalt will come out with a cordless orbital sander?
I just bought one and it comes with the 10amp. The mower did my 1/2 arcer yard with 1 bar left.
You guys should definitely review the Snapper XD 82V cordless 21" mower/ trimmer/ blower. I bought them and couldn't be happier run time of 30-45 min and charge in 30 best cordless mower on the market hands down.
I have it. It does well with 2 5s on a high cut setting. With a 9 and a 5... You can cut longer but 5 will start to trip on a low cut setting. 2 9s will do reaally well. Light not loud. Rolls very well. Well made. A top for TIA... In video here you can improve run Tim by starting in the middle and cut in a circle when cutting a square area lawn.
whats the run time with 2 9ah flexvolts?
I really think as advertised it will do 1/4 acre on 2 x 5 amph. So on 2 x 9 amph I think it will do over 1/2 acres. I have not tried yet!
Awesome can i try it with flex volt
So can I use my 12 amp flexvolt batteries 🔋?!
Does it fit ?!
Yes. Any 20/60 flexvolt battery is supposed to fit.
How has this held up? I saw it in HomeDepot yesterday for $548CAD (about $400USD) which seems pretty reasonable. I have all Dewalt tools which is what makes this appealing. I have an EGO trimmer but their mowers are at least $200 more. Looking over the Dewalt my biggest concern was in the deck, both the front and rear shields underneath are plastic. How have those held up over the course of 2 years? With my current steel deck it has some dents from rocks being launched and it gives me a little pause when I see how much of thise is plastic underneath.
Mine literally died after six uses
@ToolsInAction
I've almost convinced myself to buy this, but I was planning to use a mix of batteries with it - A new 6Ah FlexVolt, and a collection of 2Ah 18Vs that I already own.
I asked Dewalt and they "advised against mixing batteries", but didn't give any concrete reason. And obviously they're incentivised to get me to buy 2 new FlexVolt batteries :)
Have you tried running with mix-and-match batteries? Did it power the mower? Did it seem to cause any problems for the batteries?
They’re covering their ass. If anything happened to their batteries or the mower that you buy because you mixed powers, they’d be liable for anything happened if told you “yeah it’s fine bro”.
I bought this on Amazon as soon as it was available. Have tons of batteries so wasn't a problem to swap
I'll mention I only use the flexvolt batteries in here, otherwise like you said, this thing is power hungry! Quality though!
Micah McLellan how much run time do you get from 2 flexvolt batteries?
It shouldn’t be unthinkable with these bigger tools now to expect to do a (30 second) battery swap mid job. If not great but it shouldn’t be such a big point of contention. I think anyone that invests into these serious cordless tool brand machines are going to own at least 5-10 batteries already anyway. If anything, all the pressure on these tool companies should be on super minimal high speed multi chargers, Dewalts 4 charger is as big as this mower, its such a sick joke, personal embarrassment is a legitimate factor to consider when buying one. Imo.
I have used electric mowers for years. You have to remember, you HAVE to cut the grass when it is shorter. You can't expect to wait as long as you normally would with a gas mower and expect great run time from the batteries. Tall and damp/wet grass are a literal drag on the power and the batteries drain quickly. Even my corded mowers will not power through what you did and mulch properly. You have to change your mowing mindset with battery mowers. They are for small areas, they have the convenience of no gas or oil needed, they are much quieter and no need to drag an extension cord around. You cannot expect the same out of them as a gasoline engine mower.
_ Not yet!
I hate to call folks dense but this should be a no brainer. I knew this the day I bought it without any research. It;s common sense. Just think about it. You take a GAS mower and go into a 6 inch clump and it almost stops.
You mean its key to maintain a regular lawn mowing schedule weekly so it does not accumulate to a heavy duty job. Heavy duty jobs are not suitable for electric lawn mowers due to lack of power
@@juanzamarripa3778 that's actually not true. You got money? Go out and buy a 100volt and that shit will cut your neck off. It simply costs more. Hopefully one day things will be cheaper and we can all afford it
@@breadfan9 100V 😂 be realistic, what cordless power tool is 100v?
So we can get longer battery life if we put in the 60v batteries?
Battery run time is determined by AMPS, not volts.
I have one and use it with the flex 20/60 9 ah batteries. I am ordering the 12 ah batteries Love the way it cuts and rolls.
I have the lawn mower on the way and have 4 9ah 60v flexvolt batteries. About how much run time do you get out of your flexvolt?
I have the Flex Volt batteries and this thing works well.
20v XR 10ah battery more better than flexvlot 6.0ah ?
Those batteries are likely to perform much better after a few cycles. It would be interesting if you could repeat the test on the same yard (with similar grass height, temperature, humidity) after the batteries have been cycled a few times and report back. I would be surprised if you don't observe a tangible increase in runtime.
Tool boss was talking about it. The run time for this 20 min with 5 mp battery
I love dewalt. I wish they would come out with a 28 or 30 inch electronic mower.
I’ve got the Ego 56 (the older one) which works great with a 5.0. I really wanted to get this one, I have a lot of Dewalt batteries and this looks like a great unit but the battery run time would be an issue. I wish the Ego had a metal deck, it’s a pain in the bottom to clean stuck on grass. All I’ve heard about the Dewalt is quality, low run time. Too bad!
Wonder why you guys never mentioned that DeWalt sells a near identical push mower that uses (1) 40V battery and costs the same as this 20V version?
I’m a huge Dewalt fan. I’m happy with my EGO tho.
I see HD has this mower on sale for $348. I'm impressed with the construction and general design of the mower but man, that run time is really a deal killer. I mean, with battery powered yard tools run time is everything. An extra set of 5AH batteries will cost you close to $175 and to get a pair of 9AH Flexvolts will cost you over $400!! So either way, to get a usable mower you're up to $600-750 which is C-R-A-Z-Y. If your yard is small enough to use this mower there are less expensive options out there. Back to the drawing board for DeWalt.
I use scooter battery 15amp on this works great used on a remotes control moser
I think Dewalt should of had the kit come with flexvolt batteries
That would push the price of the mower to over $600
Logan P
Agreed... Price difference is not that big. Two 5Ah batteries cost around $150, while two 6Ah batteries cost around $200, and two 9Ah around $280...
Just $100~$150 more, they could have included two 9Ah batteries rather than two 5Ah ones.
Have one of these on the way. Luckily I have two 6AH flex volt batteries. So I'm not too worried on the run time
Hey bud , the 6ah flexes fit , I have the new version of the mower with two 10 ah XR , but not sure if the Flex is gunna fit the online store didn't know either, but you have done it , ????
Thanks in advance
Bill
@@WildBillQRO 6AH is the biggest i have. But looks like there's a whole lot more space in the compartment.
@@andywagner212 The 9 Ah battery will fit...but I'm not sure that you'll get more run time out of those than the 20V 10Ah batteries. I've just bought the latest push version. First cut I did my entire lawn of about .25 acres on about 1/3 of the battery reserve.
I want to see how it does with the bigger batteries.
Thomas Desmond DeWALT FLEXVOLT battery 2X 20V 9AH or 12AH
Problem is a pair of 9AH batteries will cost $400 and a pair of 12AH batteries is over $500
Nobody pays $400 when 2 packs of 9Ah batteries cost $280 with a fast charger.
www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCB609-2-Flexvolt-Battery-FLEXVOLT/dp/B072T5YJ6H
When things were on real sale, they were even cheaper.
That's a great deal compared to what HD wants - unfortunately the Amazon listing is out of stock
If you need them now, you can try some other places, like Acme Tools.
www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/dewalt-flexvolt-9-0-ah-battery-pack-2-pack-dcb609-2
Charger is not included, though.
But, I think even this price is rather expensive.
I'd wait for a deal like this.
ruclips.net/video/vXpNWhhrPOM/видео.html
This was about 4 months ago. $129 for a 9Ah battery and a fast charger. Meaning $258 for two 9Ah batteries and two fast chargers.
Actually, I don't remember whether it was Acme or CPO, but they once sold the same thing for $119.
Slap two flexvolt batteries in there and it would be a nice mower. However I'm not a fan of the handle - the Ryobi has a better design that folds in the middle which makes storage easier. Also not sure about a metal deck - it seems the best Honda mowers have composite decks that won't rust and don't allow grass to stick to them as easily. I'd think a poly deck would actually be better for these since it would save weight.
Use a scythe with big strokes. You'll finish the job faster and not need to charge anything. Maybe eat a sammich when it's over.
You need to sharpen a mowers blades aswell, If you start fucking around with them and gouge one side its going to be off balanced and cut funny. A scythe is just as fast.
Yes but you only need to sharpen mower blades once a year. A scythe needs to be sharpened much more often.
Yeah but you still have your money and you gain a new skill. It's probably quite the core workout aswell.
What kind of person has hours just to mow their lawn?
T!.!.!T "new" skill. Heh. I keep old 1800s sickles strategically placed around the house for defense. They are razor sharp.
I would love electric lawn mower but only if it can do 6000 sq ft on battery, otherwise it’s gas it’s better. Put gas and run with no problem 5 years, and to be running for new batteries and recharging nah. What you guys think about snapper.
@0.52 guy looks over and thinks "that's a cute lawnmower". lol
I love my dewalt mower. It simply gets the job done.
>Puts small battery in it
>States battery life sucks
>Quality review work here guys
Try kobalt brushless 40max with 5amp lithium battery has good runtime or brushless 40max rwd is too but less runtime
The big advantage to the DeWalt mower using the 20v batteries.... is for the people that purchased all the other 20v products that come with the 5AH batteries! Share the usage of your stack of 5AH 20v batteries with all your awesome DeWalt tools! O:-)
yup its for people like me, small city yards and extra 20v batteries
The 58v echo does a half acre on one silver top so I will stick with my echo since they are in the outdoor power business. LOL
I've owned this mower for 2 months. Agree with the review, very happy with the build quality, great cut, very quiet, all the benefits of electric. Run time in s disappointing, but how much you cut and how low you cut make a big difference. I started on 2 now I mow taller at 4 and have much better luck. I bought a set of generic spare 5ah batteries from Amazon for 70 that work great. Very happy with entire 20v dewalt line for my 1/4 acre lot. Have the mower, trimmer, blower, and chainsaw and love them all. Thrilled to be done with gas!
I wish i had one
Is it made in the USA?
Like everything about it except runtime. Surprised they released it with it that low.
Is there any word on possibly a flexvolt mower? Like 2x 60v for 120v. I thought flexvolt was designed for these high power tools and yet DeWalt decides to come out with 2x 20v instead. How does this perform if grass is wet or a little long. Prolly atrocious if the runtime already this bad and who knows about power. Highly dissappointed and I refuse to buy this. I guess there's a first for everything
Maybe good for people with small yards like he said or average homeowner in a city with a small yard but if you have a decent size yard I wouldn't recommend it but at least they brought it out it's only going to get better from here
Yep - battery life keeps getting better and better. The latest models now come with 2 20V 10Ah batteries. Even the self-propelled ones claim an hour of run time. I just bought the push version and it cuts as good as gas and is so much nicer to use.
Have you tried 12amp Flexvolt and tested run time?
no
Nice mower, like you guys said though, needs more run time. Good review!
Thanks for the quick review. Very disappointed in the run time! It takes me 30 to 40 min to mow. I will be sticking with my gas mower. I love my Dewalt 20 volt trimmer and blower.
Nathan Shook Since all my cordless tools are DeWalt, I wanted the DeWalt trimmer. I just couldn't believe that little 20v battery could provide sufficient power or run time. So I got the EGO 56v for the same price as the DeWalt. The EGO has a 90-day return policy. It works better than a lot of gas models of used.. but I'm still curious about the DeWalt. How is it working for for you? Can it handle thicker grass weeds? How's the run time? It's hard to believe reviews. They tell you hey it's a great tool or mower. But it only ran for 10 minutes or it can't handle really tall grass etc. I don't care how pretty it looks if it doesn't get the job done it's a terrible mower. So I think it would be more beneficial to me to hear from someone who is actually using whatever tool I'm interested in buying. Thanks in advance.
40mmrrsmith The real deal on the DeWalt 20v trimmer. I’m a fanboy of the DeWalt line and the outdoor line is killing me and I can’t switch brands. The DeWalt trimmer works great only if you have small trimming areas. You must have a 4.0 battery at the least. I don’t have flexvolt! The high/low switch is rarely used. I’m always on the high setting and throttling the speed with the trigger that gives me a variable speed. Power is lacking when tall and overgrown weeds are present, but you can slowly get through it. The trimmer string is light and does not hold up to the abuse from chain link fences or concrete. The line diameter is small and bumping for more line is frequent. I would like to try a different brand of string. Currently using DeWalt string!
I have the Ryobi 40v lineup, Trimmer, 21" Mower, and Blower all work great and have decent run time, better value in my opinion. I was waiting for this dewalt but got some inside info that it was going to be bad so I pulled the trigger on the ryobi.
I have DeWalt 5AH batteries, so this is an obvious choice for me. I already swapped my Husky chainsaw for the DeWalt and have never looked back. I'm "done" with petrol tools - batteries are definitely the way to go. And the noise difference... so much better.
Petrol tools are more suitable for bigger, heavier duty jobs or people who use them for work/business.
@@juanzamarripa3778 The mower now comes with 2 20V 10Ah batteries...it is expensive to buy a 2nd set...but I've seen several reviews by lawn care providers that are saying they are using these in their businesses. I just bought one this week. First charge of the batteries I cut my entire lawn about .25 acre and only used about 1/3 of the battery reserve. Will definitely be getting the 60V string trimmer likely towards the end of the summer.
Can't beat the horrible noise and beautiful fumes of an Australian made 4 stroke.
Adam N can't go wrong with the old victa 2stroke
mikey You can go deaf by it tho. Loudest 2 stroke ever.
Mower week comming?
I bought the mower that included two 10aH 20V Max batteries, non-self propelled.
I have one as well it doesn’t show battery life when I’m mowing I have to take out the battery to see how much juice it had left
Please try the flex volt batteries
I am with you guys, that run time would not work for me. Well that and I am not pushing a mower anymore, must be self propelled. #TIACREW
In regards to the battery status bars... there are three lights, but act as four indicators. The mower continues to mow when no battery bars are lit... this is your "4th indicator." So, when you loose one bar, you are about 25% through your batteries, loose two bars, you are at 50%, when you loose the third bar, 25%, no bars, you are at 25% and mow until the mower is out of juice.
athletejmv That's not how it works. Mower stops working with 1 bar left when charge drops.
more bars are more accurate
@ 0:35 a real mower pulls up. =)
I watched this video and the statistics on the use of 2 5 amp hour batteries which almost cut a fairly large front yard.
I would prefer if a bigger single battery with high amp hour was used. This way there will be less variance in the amps of batteries.
I don't know why tool manufacturers are going for twin 18 volts or 20 volts depending on models.
In Europe they have the 230mm 9 inch metabo cordless grinder with one 36 volt 6 amp hour battery. This same model came out in Australia with twin 18 volt batteries.
I have asked reps what they thought the difference between having a larger
Battery opposed to the twin system.
One answer I received is motors may not like a difference amperage going into the machine. Perhaps there may not be any issues. There will be times you have 2 batteries with one battery having less amperage. You may not have access to power or you are limited to time for whatever
Reason or circumstance.
For me, I'd rather see the bigger batteries brought on and I suspect it is marketing and sales which pushes for the twin battery setup.
Ego do the 56 volt system with either 5 amp hour or 7.5 self walking in Australia. I haven't checked if higher amp hour are available.
Is this gen 1 or gen 2?
gen 1
Great review guys! As always! Bummer about the runtime....
Don’t know why this got so many down votes but I gave an upvote for the honesty. Haven’t seen anyone yet talk an ounce bad about Dewalt. But it’s not “bad”, it’s constructive criticism; and it’s something buyers need to look out for, and in my opinion ya’ll deserved a like for it. I’m a Dewalt Dude, so I’m getting this. It looked awesome when it bounced. I could feel the comfort lol. I just need to go buy some bigger batteries. And that leads me to my last point- people don’t complain when they put the extra money into a big truck that uses a lot of gas, or complain about a top tier car that rides smooth for 80 grand, but Heaven forbid if we have to buy two batteries to make a quality lawnmower an even better product. Easy buy in my opinion.
Thank you
It's louder than I would have guessed an electric mower to be.
The reason there's three LED's for the battery status it because the Flex-Volt batteries are just 3x 18V cells crammed together.
So one LED for each cell...
I’ll pass until they make a 60V flexVolt mower...
Ross 1 it runs on flexvolt too
@@oakley5 but does it run at 60v. If it doesn't say flexvolt, it'll Max out at 20v
I know this. It’s got plenty of power. The flexvolt works to increase run time. 60v mower probably won’t happen.
@ 7:28 it says flexvolt
do a SIDE TO SIDE of the 20V VS 40V dewalt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice
U can put flexvolt batteries in this.......even in ur video the flexvolt logo is under the hood
@4:27 RIP that mosquito 🤣🤣🤣
I’m usually a dewalt guy, but I’m not super impressed with this. I have the Echo 57v mower and weed whacker and I love them. However I have the dewalt 20v blower and love that.
Gotta love that real mower at the beginning of the video! Lol
Greg McCandless - same here...echo got it right. There is still room for improvement but I will not be switching anytime soon.
Yep, Echo 58V owner too...I own the whole system, its worked amazing for 3 years now! Love it.
The DeWalt mower now comes with 2 20V 10Ah batteries and the push version has a claimed run time of 75 minutes. Just picked one up...that's more than enough for me to cut my lawn which is roughly .25 acres. They also now have a 60V weed whacker - which I'm hoping might go on sale towards the end of the summer!! lol
Nice hat Dan.
Get another mic for Eric !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mummmum muuum mmmmu.
And each quit banging your hands on the table or fiddling with things that make noises while the other is talking.
And adjust the mic vs camera gain settings so ambient sounds & the room resonance won't have as much of an impact.
Picked up a (brushed) Greenworks 40 volt with one 4 Ah battery last year prior to the DeWalt being announced and it will cut 6" tall grass covering 3000+ square feet while using no more that 3/4 battery charge. I was prepared to sell it and buy the DeWalt but there's clearly something not right with this model so I'll be passing for the time being.
I think iread in the manual one time that the first bar is worth 25%, the second bar 50%, and the last bar 25%. I agree dewalt needs 4 bars for battery level indicator. Then again i think makita also uses 3 bars.
sounded super quiet, I would cut my legs off if I only got 10 minutes of mowings, I’d have to charge 3 times or sheesh
Looks like it cuts with ease! Let's see a face off between a ryobi mower!! #tiacrew
I was about to say go get a leaf blower and a weed eater but I realized this is 4 years old lol
It's real quiet
He has a BIG yard! Runtime will be fine for people with average yards.
Try it with 2 flexvolt batteries
You should compare this to the new kobalt 24vx2 mower
looks like ill have to wait until Milwaukee comes out with a mower, it may take a while but I know they will continue in their quality work and not have the run-time issue that Dewalt has. I personally don't have anything against Dewalt, I just have a huge investment of Milwaukee tools and batteries and its way too expensive to try and keep up with Milwaukee tools let alone to try and be proactive in both tool brands of Milwaukee and Dewalt. I just hope Milwaukee doesn't take forever to release their version of the battery operated lawnmower!!
I hope Milwaukee comes out with one. I bought the Ryobi 40v SP since I needed something, but I'm a Milwaukee Fan . When they come out with one I'm sure I will get it to match my trimmer and gen 2 blower.
Don’t worry Milwaukee will come out with one, they simply copy Dewalt an about everything. I guess its easier to follow then to lead.
The echo 58v is pretty good except for the height adjustment easily jumping. I like to lower one side of the deck along sidewalks and driveway edge while you cannot do it with any of the others with that single lever height adjustment.
Craig Hatch - here we go again...😂
I'm fine with that, if they copy it and make it better its all good in my book.
For that price I got a really nice toro personal pace…
Yeah this fine machine really needs to run on flex volt. But too expensive that is why they say and give out smaller battery's. Stick with the flex volt and you have yourself a handy machine.
Just ordered this mower and I know I'm gonna go through at least 6 flex volts to mow my lawn and it's half an acre if that.
you were mowing with the BAGGER !!! do a review with MULCH FUNCTION !!!!!!!!!!!
Dang 10 min to go thru 5 amp hours that's brutal on batteries I bet you could destroy like 1.5ah battery
