One of the best songs to take me deep within the recesses of my mind.
The instrumental hits harder than the actual one for me. Hearing the vocals in my head and wishing it was actually there matches the theme of the song ironically

This instrumental represents my day. I wake up, groggy, trying to get my workday started. I eat breakfast, still half asleep as the music ramps up slowly. The mechanical notes kick in as I get in traffic on the way to work, all the noise around me, I'm used to it. The violins guide me to my parking spot, as I walk into the office. The melodic notes are me saying good morning to everyone and I sit down at my desk, still a bit groggy. The bass kicks in, as I know it's time to grind some drawings out. The mechanical notes repeat in my head, rinse and repeat all morning long. The violins in my head keep me focused and help me keep calm as the morning passes. Silence with melodic notes as I eat my lunch in peace, a nice breather before going back to work. The violins kick in again, it's time to get back to work. Now it's time to push myself and knock out the rest of these drawings. Every note is bouncing around, organized chaos. The day ends as the bass takes a breath and I say goodbye. Time to jump back into traffic, the bass, the violins, the melodic notes, all the noise around me, I'm used to it. The music makes the drive worth it. I arrive home, as the music starts to slow down, I eat my dinner, relax. The melodic notes sing me a lullaby as I slowly drift off to sleep, with a smile on my face knowing this song got me through my day, every day. Much love.

I actually really like the subdued, peaceful feel of the chord progression during the first part. vi-i. vi-i. vi-i. vi-i. I normally would hate a song with a 1 bar loop but this one does it so well, especially how the instruments always come in and out and never stay still.
