Dennis I want to see you be safe! You are respectful of the no photo vendors and I appreciate that! And I love when they let you interview them! ❤️ Peace✌🏼
I talk about so many different things in this video. Lots happening around here and as well as there are things on the horizon. UW cherry blossoms should be in full bloom in a week or so. Don't forget to spring forwarding tonight (daylight savings time)! ✌️ Watch more Pike Place Market videos here 👉 ruclips.net/video/U50bNVh6qV0/видео.html
I've lived in the Seattle area since the early '90s. I've never have felt safe in downtown Seattle especially from the dinner hour onward. I feel it's pretty safe to just okay from after sun up to about 4 PM. I do my best to be out of downtown by 5 PM. I appreciate it when you say how safe or not a particular part of Seattle is.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another excellent production Mr. Ocean; five stars as usual... Truly enjoyed the rambling nature of this monthly Pike Place Market update. Very happy the tourists are back, and it's good to see all the beautiful naked faces... Lots of good philosophy in this video as well... Mr. Ocean I could watch your content all day. Oh, by the way I DO NOT want to see you get mugged. Keep the awesome videos rolling out Sir, and thank you once again...☮
Awwww, my favorite place in the world (almost)! : ) What is the construction for on that street? Love the green knoll. Great place to people watch! Miss home sooooo much. So beautiful!!
Dear , Lao you return me back during I stay in beautiful Seattle in 80th and 90th. I used to drive to pick place from Tacoma to buy in fresh fruits 🍉 and fresh fish 🐠. Dear , Lao Thank you so much indeed for live image transfer in to the audience.
Thank you so much, my daughter lives in Seattle & your videos help me so much to “stay in touch” & make a list for my next visit ( only one so far was Christmas 2019 ).
The pike pit bbq at the 10:30 mark is pretty good. Their damn hot sauce and brisket. And a side of potato salad was my ritual. The potato salad is very good
One of my most favorite lines," that's a damn fine cup of coffee". The market vids are some of my favorite, always so relaxing.Hoorah, for the mask sign is down, hope they threw it into the deepest part of Pudget Sound. Got a little bit of snow today up here in the mountains. The cat performers.... little to weird for me. I have a field full of daffodils now, good to see things coming back to life. God bless Mr Dennis and your family. Also God bless our police, you guys are needed more than ever.
I lived in West Seattle from 1960-1965, so your videos bring back good memories. I live in So Cal know, where everything is expensive, has too much traffic, and gas prices are out of sight, wish I was back in Seattle, but that's life!!!
The signs in specific booths is, like you mentioned, so that people don't try to take the photos to then copy and make their own artwork. And while it's nice that-even if there isn't a sign-you want to not stick your camera in people's faces, you ARE in a public space. If you're shooting commercially, there are other items to consider... but if you're just vlogging for personal use (being monetized would add another layer to that), then no one can really complain. I think the market has a policy about filming for commercial use... and I know you can't use the signs in a commercial use piece. But being in public, one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
Recently came across your channel while researching for a 2 day solo trip next month. So far you've walked around all the places I was planning to walk around/stay at and it looks so great! Was planning on staying around the Climate Pledge Arena / Space Needle as I'm primarily going to see my team play the Kraken. Seems like the area is so walkable and easy to get to from the airport too. I'm also not a coffee person but I HAVE to try some while I'm there haha.
Awesome video, the Market is so vibrant and so many visitors enjoying the morning, Boston Quincy Market is a close second to Pike Place Market and today is the 12 my friend. Towards the end you said the 13th. Nice you were able to capture the elusive Mt. Rainier
Hi Dennis!! Thank you for another great video! I used your videos to help make my trip itinerary in February. One question.. I was wondering, have you ever been to Bainbridge Island? :D
Note while watching: yes! What those cranes are supposedly building (the overlook/promenade walk), it’s supposed to be amazing! A lot of pretty trees, a small playground (there’s gonna be one between the Ferris wheel and aquarium piers too!) and a long bridge that crosses the new Alaska way (which is gonna be shifted over where the viaduct was.) But it’s gonna tie pike place and the waterfront together better! And I had a few little suggestions for them too (like a glass/acrylic public piano that won’t get damaged in the rain…) sorry sorry… I am just excited to see all of that…
I'm curious, you mentioned that some people say that Seattle is dead, no more tourists, etc. Why do they think so? I visited Seattle in October '21 and I've been in love with the city since, the vibes were great, the sights were beautiful, food was amazing. I genuinely that that Seattle is awesome and can't wait to go back :)
If you watch my earlier videos from two years ago when protests were happening and you read the comments you will what I was talking about. People hate on Seattle in the comments.
I’m 53 and a Seattle Native. I’m in the city several times a week. It is very sad what has been allowed to happen in our city. Politicians do nothing to very little about crime and the homeless issue. They seem to care about not displacing homeless people rather than the businesses the homeless people are literally killing. Love your videos though!

So good to see what looks like a return to normal. I’m moving to the Seattle area in a month. Very excited.
Glad to see it looking busy! Was pretty slow the last couple times I was there.

I like the way that you speak without repeating endlessly repeating yourself. New subscriber.👍
Thanks for watching and the sub! 👍
It's nice to see The Market looking normal again. It's not quite the crowds there used to be on a sunny weekend day, but it's getting there.
Indeed!

Thanks for the correction on the date. I’m ahead of myself. 🤣
We like to know what is really going on, thanks for being real, we appreciate it.
As always your videos are my cup of tea!
me and hubby are going to move to Seattle this month, your videos have been helping us getting to know the city better , keep up the good work..
Thanks for watching!
So encouraging!!! Looks like old times!
Nice to see the normal Pike Place scene 👌🏼
Hello, Great video. My type of blog. Hi ope you enjoyed it. Take care from Britain. In fact, I'm subscribing. 🙂
Thanks for watching!
I haven't been to the market in years, I might have to go when it gets a little warmer.
Thank you for the great tours. Do you ever take a ferry and go to one of the islands?
Yes I do go the islands.
In addition: YAAAAAY!!! You caught this fish show!!!
Touchdown!
Hi Dennis!! Thank you for another great video! I used your videos to help make my trip itinerary in February. One question.. I was wondering, have you ever been to Bainbridge Island? :D
Thanks for watching. I have been to Bainbridge. I think I even made a video - maybe a year ago. Feel free to look through the video library.
@@LaoOcean Oh thank you!! Will watch it now, can't believe I missed it!

@@LaoOcean nice 👍 miss filming 🎥with that might have to switch it from my full frame
@@masonjagat Yeah I don’t miss lugging around my FF Sony cameras 😄
LETS GOOOOOOOOO! Big Lao Ocean walking in the big city. You should turn your channel into a crime channel. High speed pursuits!
Lao Ocean CSI? 🤣
It was packed. and s lot of crazy drunk people to. 😂😆. but it was fun.
No, you are all about peace. Your voice is peaceful. No mugging or your being threatened.
Y'all doing ok just ignore the small crowd that don't like anything.
No mugging please!
