The GM3 is my all time favorite in my entire knife collection and it was my first of *many* GM knives. I'm not always a completionist but I've made an exception for GM. :) Great video, Jens! thanks!

I would absolutely bend over backward for some of the pieces in your non-collection!😂 Amazing collection, sir! I cannot imagine if you included your own designs and the other things you've not collected over the years! 😆 I will never catch up with you but that won't stop me from trying! Thanks for the awesome video, Jens!!!

Great collection. I have owned several Ace models including, two Tribeca's, a Nazca, a Jutland in Vanadis, and an Atelier. Every one of them had issues. The two Tribeca's had liner lock issues. One was that it locked up at no more than 5% with an extremely weak detent, and the other had lock stick like I've never seen before. The Atelier had jimping on the lock bar that was as close to a saw as you can get without actually being a saw. The Jutland also had lock stick problems. The only one that didn't have any issues was the Nazca which I still own. Then, after hearing that GM doesn't heat treat their steel properly I did some searching on the interwebs and found a few articles saying that their Magnacut, Vanadis, and M390 all aren't heat treated to their optimal HRC. I love your designs but I just can't see spending my hard-earned money on knives with quality control issues any longer.

Sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced. I hope you reached out to customer service for them all....I know they would take good care of you. I would not trust everything you read on the internet... ;)

I really appreciate this revisit to the previous episode! Cool insights into the beginnings of Giant Mouse and some of your practices, I have liked quite a few GM designs! I hope to get some folders made this year and one design is named “Mouse” and might have some slight influences from some GM style, but is quite a bit more shall we say whimsical?? Keep up the great work and awesome videos!

Can we please get a GMF4 (or a similar fixed blade) in Vanadis 4E, K490,CPM 4V in both a satin and coated version? That would be a dream knife, and V4E performs so good in bushcraft and camping tasks. Keep up the great work.

@@jensanso Thank you the Jutland in V4E is great. And I think the GMF4 would be highly appreciated in that type of knife. Personally, I prefer those steel without coating since they take a lovely patina. But I assume V4E & K490 might be easier to get here in Europe over 4V, the knives are produced in Italy if my memory serves me right, correct? I don't think N690 is a bad steel, I just think the V4E would take the design and performance to a new level. Even 14C28N or AEB-L/13C26 for the stainless variants, and getting that extra toughness compared to the N690. Just think SOME people getting a little tired of N690 ❤

frankly I don´t have first hand experience with any of those steels. I do know that I love N690 for outdoor knives....takes a great edge. Keeps it fairly well and it is easy to sharpen in the field which is important to me.
