Such a great time getting to follow along on this journey from sketch to Launch. Super excited for my Toko, the Kobolt with Amber and Bronze looks like it will be a dream to carry. Congratulations again. Cheers Jens and team!
@@jensanso as expected, my Toko's been in pocket since it arrived a few days before Christmas and it's incredible. Lighter than I was even expecting and flawless. Absolute win of a design. I'm so excited to see future projects come to life.
Hey Jens. Awesome design. I really think you hit it out of the park this time. Congrats! Just placed an order for mine, and it's also my first Ansø. 🙂 I live in driving distance from your shop, will it be possible to pick it up, when it's ready for delivery?
The Anso Toko costs between $875-$925 USD, yet it has a blade made of RWL34🤔😞 I really wish that the Toko was made with a higher quality blade steel like either Elmax, ZDP-189, S90V, or magnacut🙏🏼
I would highly recommend you test out a knife in RWL34. It Is not by chance that I use it but because I believe in overall perspective it performs exactly like I want it to. I do not believe that the other steels you mention performs better. If you single out excample edge holding well then some other steels are better but I also factor in ease of sharpening, rust resistance, strength in regards to thin edge geometry as I prefer, cutting ability etc....I honestly feel that all in all considered RWL34 is a great choice. If I didn't it would not be on most all my knives including my custom knives at several $1000.
It would be absolutely awesome if Jens Anso would eventually mass produce and sell those metal "Keep Calm and Carry Anso" signs🙏🏼
That would be cool to see in metal. For now though you would have to make due with the sticker we sell :)
Great knife. When I am able to save up I am going to buy this knife one day. It is really a masterpiece. Well done my friend!
Thanks so much. I think you would enjoy it greatly!

So happy to hear that. For sure a main reason for me to keep this channel running is to give people like you direct insight in the process.

so good to hear. I am getting more and more sure that this design is my best work to date.
A new workbench sign -

I love that!

It was a pleasure to have you stop by to pick up the TOKO. I hope it loves up to your expectations.
I love this knife! Been working up the courage to rationalize ordering one. Did you go with steel or ceramic detent ball in this?
This is a button lock so neither 😀
