Plasmaaaaa! Aw man, I miss that. Team Plasma was the first interesting evil team I fought (since white was my first game). This remaster brings those background sounds to life and I love the bell sound in the background between 1:37-1:47 (do not remember the exact time). Thanks Zame for this amazing remaster! I look forward to the next.
Oh man this rendition of the song is endlessly interesting to me. I re-listened to the original and I gotta say I didn't interpret the baseline to be a harpsichord, nor the few notes during those brief lulls to be bells. But boy I absolutely love your interpretation. With those in mind, I appreciate the song's composition so much. The synth keyboard, drums, and electric guitar give the piece a distinctly modern and American sound that perfectly fits Unova's inspiration from the US. Meanwhile the harpsichord and strings give it a contrasting sense of antiquity. Then the bells and organ really cement Team Plasma's inspiration from the Knights Templar. Not only that, but the melody switching from being played by synth, strings, and organs invokes a feeling that Team Plasma exists outside the norm, unwilling to fit into any category. God damn this is beautiful.

You may feel like the song skips a beat, but in reality, it's just the snare coming before the next beat. If you put a metronome along the song you'll notice everything's right with the tempo

Still have the original six from my first game clear of Black, but the set remains incomplete bc Emboar can’t be transferred into SS. what a ride it’s been, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
