How to make Edwin in Baldur's Gate 3

Edwin Odessiron, come on down! Everyone's favorite red wizard of Thay is next on the lineup, and boy oh boy, that default green robe does NOT suit him! As is the norm in this series, I'll be going over Edwin in terms of mechanics and character in the previous games, and how I feel they would translate into this game.
