I subscribe to this channel because the first couple of stories I heard seemed to be funny, well written. And a lot better than a lot of the HFY stuff that you normally see on here. But now it appears to me you're telling the same story repeatedly. How many ways can you tell the same story? And when I say, same story? The same names. The same situations. Even the same phrases over and over again. “You mistook our politeness for fear. You mistook our patience for weakness.” I've heard that in at least three stories recently. Come on guys, you got to have more. Those are great lines but you don't need to use them time and again. You know you can go online and get randomizers to help you come up with new names if you're having trouble. But if I hear from Sarah Chen or any of her kin again, it's really going to be disappointing. And there's got to be other adjectives to describe somebody's fingers dancing across the console. Fingers flying across the console. (In my head: Her fingers flew across the console and landed at the feet of an ensign that was standing nearby. “A little help?” She asked sheepishly.) Their gelatinous forms rippling, their four arms outstretched, their multiple eyes or whatever sensory organs passed for those rolling. And as always, a bunch of arrogant, overconfident aliens laughing derisively about humans from the safety of their high domed Galactic Council chamber. Which is always either under 3 Suns or some kind of prism reflective Dome type thing. I listened to these stories in an attempt to get inspiration so that I can hopefully one day start writing down my own. I don't know how many of these stories are AI generated, how many of them were maybe AI generated and then helped along with human writing. But so many similarities. I've got to believe there's a better way. I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off harsh and I really have been enjoying your stories for the most part. But little things add up after a while. I really intend to keep listening to this channel, but I just wanted to make you aware of my disappointment. You guys are better than this. I can hear it in your stories. You're capable of bringing humor that I don't hear in a lot of these stories. You've got some decent turns of phrase, but you seem to be stuck in all these old Paradigms. Humans don't always have to be heroes. They don't always have to be the winners. But it is really hard to imagine any group of humans sitting on Godlike powers while the rest of the Galaxy bitch slaps them. And while this all seems to be about showing the best of humanity, sometimes it's the best of humanity that comes through when the worst of humanity takes over. How about a story of an evil Earth empire fighting a few plucky rebels that align with the other species in the Galaxy? There you have the best of humanity overcoming the worst of humanity. To me that seems an interesting story. I know there are a lot of factors that I am not familiar with in putting a story like this online, so maybe these are choices you've made for specific reasons that I just don't see. So again. I apologize if I'm coming off a little harsh, it's just that you guys are so close to what I am actually looking for that I feel a little disappointed sometimes.
@@justinlambert6885 Maybe actually start writing your own story. Maybe you'll bring some fresh phrases and names for people to use. Like you, I'm also tired of the sameness of these stories. They're all getting stale.
At this point, a lot of your stories are starting to sound the same. It's the same theme, with different characters and a different scenario, with a lot of the same explanations. Variety in the narrative would be nice. Maybe use a different AI from time to time to give a different 'author' voice.

I'd say the Rigellian Hive Mind should've looked into the Dark Id of Humanity, but I guess Humans thought that would be too... drastic.

AI needs to learn more names. Its always Chen and Rodruigez.
