It's a shame you can't just try a new build, you have to brick 50 items tempering first.
I built this out, and if anyone is looking for a low investment 101 pit speedfarming build, this works pretty well. 3 minute 101's.
This is exactly the idea I went with in Season 2 on my CL Sorc, and I couldn't get it to really gel. The last two seasons of buffs and bug fixes, and this change to Andy's and your better understanding of damage and multipliers will likely make it work better. I'm enjoying Blizzard this season, but CL Sorc is really where my heart is, so I hope it finds a solid endgame build eventually.
The problem is that it's always competing with Shako. 20% DR and +4 all skills is really, really hard to compete with, and the supporting stats are great on most builds too.
There's another trick to get permanent Unstable Currents that might work in this build. You take the Teleport Enchantment, and you run Flickerstep. Each enemy you hit with your Evade Teleport reduces Ult by 4 seconds to a max of 10 seconds per Evade/Teleport. Flickerstep comes with the "Attacks Reduce Evade's Cooldown" affix, so your Evade is up pretty much constantly so long as you're pressing buttons. You'd then want to change the Unstable Currents Temper on your Necklace to Evade Cooldown. You'd have to give up a Defensive aspect, but you get that DR back by switching Overflowing Energy to Vyr's Mastery. It does require you to teleport into enemies a few times to reduce your Unstable Currents cooldown, but between them being stunned, and your Flame Shield/Ice Armor, that shouldn't really be too much of a problem.
The problem is, this build just can run with perma flame shield for pit 70+
@@p7755fn This build isn't even remotely close to perma Flame Shield. It's running 40% CDR with god rolls for a 12s FS Cooldown. Even if he ran all 10 ranks of Flame Shield (Remember, he's not using Harlequin's Crest), he'd be at 3s FS Duration. With perfect rolls, and allocating most of your Masterwork Crits on the FS Duration Temper, you could approximately double the duration to around 6s. So you have about 6s to reduce that cooldown by another 6s purely through Ice Blades Enchant (Overflowing Energy only reduces Shock Skills). At .1s off per hit, you need 60 hits in 6 seconds. You simply don't have enough cooldowns (to spawn more Blades) or Attack Speed to get 10 attacks per second. This is why Perma Flame Shield builds run the Hectic Aspect and spam a Basic Skill with no other cooldowns. It's not practical (and barely even possible at all) to get perma FS without it.

@@p7755fn What the hell are you talking about? We're replying to the build in the video, which is based around Andariel's Visage, which occupies the slot that Shako would go in. The build fundamentally can't run Shako because then it wouldn't be an Adariel's Visage build.
I already know that perma Flame Shield builds are a thing that use Shako. I use the build on one of my Sorcerer characters. That's not what this discussion is about.

This looks really nice. Since I obtained every uber unique so far I'm basically just speed blasting 90s with Rob's Bleed Whirlwind already accumulated over 10k Pit Mats so I will start tempering (edit: masterworking, not tempering kekw) the Andariel's for triple ATS and will start blasting on monday, can't wait to join you with this Sorc build. how long did you farm for those 10k pit mats?
@@LemonWinterMelon i can clear t110 in 3 mins on HS rogue, lets call it 4 mins w load screens and gear dumps etc, get 69 neathiron per kill, so 144 runs for 10,000. So like 10ish hours of nonstop absolute sweat-lord blasting?
@@LemonWinterMelon It actually didn't took me that long. I clear 90's with pretty optimized gear in 90-120 seconds including a boss kill. 49 materials per run. I'm currently sitting at 17k legendary mats since I have no gear to spend it on most of it is triple crit except one item where it rly doesn't make a difference. I should also mention I only play the barb since season start, no alts YET. but i plan to spend a lot of mats and gold on that sorc, it looks really interesting and I love the andariel change, good luck peeps!

It's great for speed, after the patch its even more insane for speeds with the huge buffs coming for the ring, tyraels, whirlwind, dust devils etc. - I just spend 2.2 billion gold and ALL my mats on the andariels and didnt hit the triple ats masterwork. im kinda... well... frustrated tbh. all my farming for nothing -.-
I’m going to try and make it an Andy barb build. I’m pretty much done with the season and I’m gonna spend the rest of my time just making meme builds, should be fun.
I feel like Andariel Werewolf - claw druid would be good.

we don't know non-physical includes andariel's poison nova.. if its works. there 's no support in paragon legendary nodes with non-phys attacks or dot dmg. u can only max non-phys damage +%400 and need to look another place for multiplicitive dmg numbers.
Will you be running a ton of non physical damage, I assume since the sorc doesn't have a poison skill that should proc with the helm correct?
Maybe it will and yeah Sorc is super underpowered outside Firebolt. Kinda wished for some generic damage buffs to sorc, it kinda needs like at least 50% more damage to compete with other classes. Then kill off perma Flameshield and give just a tad bit more defence with possibly buffing protection duration to be more reliant and scale better.

For Druids, a Stormclaw build with Hurricane and with either Bestial Rampage, or Nature's Fury + Earth Spike should have insane amounts of procs. You just loose the weapon slot, but have perma fortify, crazy amount of life on hit, movementspeed via Werwolf and can go all in on def.
Love this idea! Hopefully we can see some gameplay in the near future if it works out!

If they ever fix the Andariels bugs I'm gonna try a bouncing fireball build with andariels. Fireball has insane lucky hit as it is, with high attack speed you can really get tons of projectiles on screen. Shatter might even work as a passive if you get lucky hit freeze high enough.
You'd have constant full stacks of Tal Rasha's with one shadow temper as well.
idk I think combo point pen shot will leverage andariels the best for clearing. Charged bolts is vverrryy interesting too. Idk if each bolt carries the lucky hit chance though.

I actually think once victimize gets bug fixed (nerfed) heartseeker will actually live on by going a poison variant, the explosions happening on the mob is basically the same.
im so confused - are you saying that scaling generic dmg stat scales the dmg of lucky hit procs like andarials xfals, etc?
that sounds fun to play, wonder what will be the actual outcome of the build. Need to farm bosses more to try the Andariel uber unique
i'm having mana issues with this build for now... still level 74 though, maybe that's why? Never played sorc before
From a rogue standpoint, it would be nice if arrow storm could proc xfal, Andy, or even exposure.
Yesterday I was messing around with Andriels and db with heartseeker rogue and I think it’s gonna be good, probably better to run tempered sword over DB but, but I think it will feel good after the patch!
Will this update already existing items in the game? I just grinded for a ring of starless skies in hardcore and do not feel like doing that again.
I have 4 sparks and will hold off on spending it until someone can validate this build. If this build can crush, I may have to get the andy.
rogue puncture flurry andy visage rogue is prob s tier after this buffs so andy is always worth it

I tested andariels in my firebolt build I could still keep perma flameshield with it and it ticked for around 8 mil on the boss which is interesting for sure. I wanna retest that when the patch rolls around. I'd much rather play something not perma immune but will just have to wait and see if the dr changes are enough to make that happen
But for perma fflameshield you need a lot of cdr for in a chain lightning build

You had my curiosity but now you got my attention.
I made this and dont have close to good gear and its waaaaay better than my Frozen Orb build. So tanky with the life steal. Im not a pusher so no idea what the potential is but its fun and I clear lvl 80 pits effortlessly.
How about poison barrage rogue ? Wouldn’t it beat Shakko ?
Another source of damage for the Tal Rasha ring perhaps, Wudi?
I'm doing twisting blades because I miss playing it and I know it's not good but I wanted to play it and I'm doing ball lighting because I've never played it before.
I wonder if the ball lighting can do anything with this?
Probs not since Ball lightning gets way more damage from Shako than it could ever get from an andariels build I assume
Never going to replace hc. The added ranks for defense ranks plus dr.

@wudijo The all damage stats in your Chain Lightning build, is this because of some double-dipping bug with DoTs? I think there was something going on but can't remember
you're right - All Damage double dips for Dots atm. That means all damage temper is stronger than damage over time for example.

@flowqi212 true. but tbh that one is not very significant.... you'll get over all around 100 more additive DoT if you temper all damage instead of damage over time... 😀
@@kiyoma2237 I put together some leftover gear I had and rolled damage to distant on every piece 😅. That still work though right? It just doesn't double-dip?
@flowqi212 Yeah, it'll work if you are at distant ^^ but right now, andariels is not yet changed... xD Currently, the poison nova spawns at the player location. A range andariels build will work when the patch drops, which will be at 17th.

My S2 stormclaw did better with andys than shako or tempest in the aoz. Got me tier higher so i would say it really works with that build.
Its funny bc i literally thought of this a week ago and made a build since i main sorc which is under whelming atm

X-fall ring not function in this build? Ball Lightning with infinit raiment and fire bolt enchantment, i try it.
poison nova has no lucky hit so won't proc x'fals. Fire bolt enchantment also got stealth nerfed for lucky hits in season 4, so it's bad with x'fals.

looking at that planner, it makes little to no sense, taking abilities - not putting them into an enchant slot, nor using them on the bar. nothing procs them.

i think tyrael's might kinda replaces it as it has the artilery shrine effect which is the best shrine effect

Rogue Andariels will ascend to S tier (tbh I think it already was) and Sorc will maybe be ok-ish ... The patch is driving me crazy, I just can't handle the Flay buffs 😅, feels so immensely out of touch with the players 😢

You know whats even more funny than the flay buffs? The shatter buff lmao. It basically buffed the strongest build in the game by 20% which is greater than what any other sorc build got buffed by. Its blizzard telling you to play immortal shatter firebolt and fish for bosses or to quit.

Could you maybe do a burning build with sorc with tal rashas and x fals, proc x fals from burning proc andys , andys procs x fals maybe?
Take the highest lucky hit chance cold n lightning skills to get the elemental bonus for tal Rashad temper one lucky hit chance to deal shadow damage to get that bonus fire bolt enchantment and blast away. At the very least it will be a serious trash mob clearer

Iceblades-1 chain lightning-2 flameshield-3 andariels-4. You could go for a 5th with showdow damage weapon temper? But you would give up double chain lightning temper

Sorcs seem to still be last place among the classes this season. Fortunately I'm working on a Barbarian and having a blast.

Tbh highest clear is by a sorc currently tier 150 solo

Blizzard logic to not properly buff sorc, it’s only that high from double dipping on one build, they designed uniques for frozen orb then have it do almost no damage. Or meteor, I think they forgot it is in the game. Without that one build sorc is horrid. Fun as hell to play, but where is the damage. Meanwhile, barbs can simply ignore all damage and mechanics and crit for billions.
Meh.....if there is no significant change to patch notes, this season is probably done for me....This is some of the worst balance tuning I have seen yet, even for Blizzard that's saying something...
