You make this look so easy, but I find these detailed stamps so intimidating. I love how different your techniques are compared to the usual "stamp, mask, copic" cards I see all the time. And Penny Black has some of the BEST sentiments I've ever seen!
March 31, 2019 : This is one of those "why did you wait so long" moments. After 30+ years as primarily working in water color, this video prompted me to give inks a try. I purchased the stamp as well as the inks you listed... Today was the day I gave it a try... and oh my GOODNESS ! I am only partially finished , but I needed to stop and give a semi-quick comment ... I have fallen IN LOVE with inks.. ! I need all the colors now.. right now ! LOL .. ( who needs to eat.. right) .. Also... I hope anyone watching this is not intimidated by the seemingly intricate nature of the stamp... It is incredibly easy to follow and the results are stunning ! Thank You SO much for these gorgeous stamps and this tutorial... A whole new world just opened up.. Again... I am wondering " Why did I wait so long ! " ....
beautiful!! because of your videos I am going to finally try watercoloring. wanted to try for years, but was afraid my drawing skills weren't up to par - now, I can just use a Penny Black stamp & your wonderful techniques!! thank you!
I’m speechless. I love bird scenes and this is gorgeous..I’m going to order but I dont’ think it can ever look like yours, especially be a newbie...Hugs and Thank you
Both are stunning Jill and I love both equally as they do look like different birds because of your colouring. The red breasted bird would be our wee robins and the blue and red one is like the little tits(tiny birds like a blue tit) that we have over here in the UK. Thank you for two gorgeous cards

QUESTION Why do you use Momento, instead of StazOn ink ?
Thanks for your question- I prefer the color and look of Memento. Just personal preference. :)

Lovely! It is a very good coloration.By the way, which paper do you use?
For this card, I've used Fabriano 140 Lb. Hot Press Watercolor Paper. Happy stamping! -Jill
Thank you for the information. I'll try that, happy stamping too. Sabine
Can you tell me which set the 'kindness is like snow' comes from please?
Thanks for watching! That sentiment is from our transparent set, 30-434 Joyful Wishes. Happy stamping! shop.pennyblackinc.com/p/joyful-wishes
Thank you so much. I LOVE your work.
Do you ever use distress Oxides around the edges. Not as clever or experienced as you so I find it easier
Thanks for your comment! I don't have any oxide inks myself, but have heard they work great for inking the edges! :) -Jill
