CJ sorry to hear about your mom, it's always tough when we lose our parents. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos when you get the time. Sounds like your new workshop with a home attached will be something special. No doubt you'll fill whatever space you have in your new home with a lot more rc fun stuff. Regards to M. Peter
Hi Peter, How have you been? I hope your family is well. Fortunately, my mother didn't suffer. She had been having many small strokes that didn't show the damage they were doing. Shortly after we got the cancer diagnosis, she went into a rapid cognitive and physical decline. She only had hospice care for 3 days before she passed quietly in her sleep. You've probably already got snow on the ground where you are. How are your hands? Are you going to try to fly some more next season?
We lost our club flying field at the start of august due to a noise complaint. The club went before the Leduc development appeal board on the 19th Oct hoping to get the closure reversed but I have serious doubts we can reopen at the same location. I'm busy hunting around for a used dlg, I think if I buy a shoulder immobilizer I could throw a dlg sufficiently well to get maybe 100feet altitude. So far I've not had a single reply to my wanted ads but I'll keep trying.
Thoughts and prayers are with u.
Thank you, greatly appreciated!
