Hey just wanted to say your channel really helped me out with learning knots in scouts and I learned how to properly tie a woggle from this channel. Great videos!
Just bought this wallet today and am looking forward to getting it in the mail and customizing it with paracord. Used to do a lot with paracord when in the military (bracelets, watch bands, zipper pulls, beer coozies, etc) and your videos make me want to mess around with the stuff once again...maybe even teach my 8yo boy how to make some things.
In case anyone is wondering I asked Trayvax what the third hole is for and they said it is just sitting there waiting for future accessories or add-ones.

I love this wallet but I’m removing the money clip and adding leather sleeve that will be laced on top of the plate.. I’ll place my money in the sleeve plus a couple business cards... this in my mind will make it the perfect wallet...

5:25 you say "cobra" knots for your snake knots. Still love the video but I wonder if there is a good elastic 550 that would work. I haven't found any that is the size of 550 that is good quality.
I'm also looking for something like that for making bracelets that don't need a closure My plan is to use normal paracord for the weave and elastic cord for the core to make it possible to simply slide over your wrist
You can have a really short tail or almost no tail if you want, but you won't be able to adjust the sizing of the wallet to accommodate more or less cards. Not an issue if you always have the same amount of cards I suppose.

Has anyone had any issues with this wallet and the top credit card either cracking or wearing or scratching where it touches against the metal plate? My blue 2.0 should get delivered tomorrow, and I'm considering using some clear lamination film, like you'd use on photos, to line the inside of the top plate as a sacrificial layer, to keep the top card from touching the metal plate. Thoughts? Also, anyone replace their paracord with bungie cord? I'm going to make a coin drawer out of wood or plastic for mine, similar to what Aviator users with their Slide Wallet. I'll probably store my bills in the drawer. And maybe I'll rig up a pull tab to lift all the cards together.
I haven't had any issues like you described. Do you put a lot of cards in the wallet though? If the top card is rubbing or getting scratched perhaps the plates need to be expanded a bit by pulling more paracord slack in between the plates?

I’m struggling with 550 it keeps hunch like crazy as I work my way though the holes in the wallet
try using a fid or if you don't have one try cutting the cord at an angle and then melt the end, making a point.
What brand/size of micro cord are you using?
Diameter is about 1.18 mm and I believe the brand is Atwood.

Does the cash fall out if you remove all of the cards?
No, it still stays in the wallet as the clip is still pressing on it.
