- Throughout the years, the Mario franchise has spawned several licensed food promotions and products, why don't we take a look at them? From cereal to candy to ice cream with gumballs, today we take a look at several forgotten nostalgic Mario food products. Many people will recognize these products, but few know their full history, and that's what this video is for.

You'd think there would be no possible way someone could talk about expired Mario food products for 14 minutes straight, and yet here we are! In this video, I go over various Super Mario food products released over the years, including candy, ice cream, cereal and more! Probably the most fascinating video I've made, naturally.

The plastic gameboy advance with the gummies were awesome. I had a great idea for them at the time - we found a distributor who could sell us pallets of those in bulk, and we used those as the table seating cards for my bar mitzvah - we stuck the placecards with the names on the inside of the screens. Everyone loved em!

This unlocked a memory. The last time I had those GBA gummies were when I was very little when the DS and GBA SP were my first console. But my most favorite ones were the item box with coin candies inside. When I was younger there was a candy store at the Bahamas where I would beg my parents to go there, and I would always get either the mushroom or item box.
Oh my gosh, I remember I was at a family friend’s house, and they were showing off a Bob-Omb figure, and I was like, wait, why does it smell so good?

I remember the 3-Dees gummis were really weirdly "real fruit" flavored and very sticky. Also there were some weird "fruit by the foot" type things with little sugar candies shaped to look like coins or mushrooms, stacked into a small mystery box type container

I remember eating 3-DEES gummies as a kid! Also, here's an interesting fact, the no artificial colors version was actually vegetarian! (No gelatin)
They aren't that old dude. They came out like 5 years ago. But was one of the best candies I have ever had. I went to Walmart at the time and bought a whole box because they were that good

it's really depressing seeing many of the au'some nintendo products now being discontinued.. i had very fond memories of them, especially with the 3D gummies as i got them in my christmas stockings for a couple years.
also it's so surreal seeing those over-a-decade old jelly pops in person.

I actually still have my Bob-omb candy. After eating it I just cleaned it out so I could use it as a toy as a kid. I also have the Super and 1-Up Mushroom tins. Sadly I never got the Mini Mushroom one. The 3-Dee gummies were super good though.
I also remember the Kellogg’s Super Mario gummies in shapes of Mario (strawberry/cherry) , Toad (orange), a power star (lemon), Luigi (green apple), Yoshi (blue raspberry), and a shell that was ironically grape because the shells always came in red or green or blue and yellow if you count smw and mk
Fun Fact: now they rereleased these gummies and now laying on my bed as I have my super Mario gummies
Note: they don’t have anything new in the rerelease just a new box with some Super Mario artwork from sm3dw and Mario party (I think).
The gummy jelly pops were amazing. The crusty hard paste used on them only covered a massive gummy bear essentially, leaving you to pretty much deform whichever character you chose. Super nostalgic thank you.

I remember back in 2017 I found the Super Mario cereal with the Amiibo functionality, and I asked my mom if we could get it. When we got home, I opened up the box and took out the bag of cereal to only find out that there was no figure included. My 7 year old mind read it as there was an Amiibo figure in the box. I was disappointed to find out that the Amiibo figure was the cereal box itself.

I've actually had the Mario 3-Dee's fairly recently, (probably 2017-2018, judging by the timeline given in the video) and they were delicious!

Edit: The blue mushroom tin is rare because they stopped making that flavor? Well that explains why I couldn't find them. It was my fav flavor and I actually have quite a few blue tins.

I remember when I was about six or five (2011 or 2010) my parents bought me a package of the Mario 3d gummies, and I remember absolutely *LOVING* them. And a few weeks later we went back to the Dollar general I got them at and they were no-where to be found. Ever since I've always wanted to find an edible pack, so I can relive the days when my life *WASN'T* in shambles. But alas... I have yet to find an edible pack.

I remember getting the jellypop of dk(i didn't care about the other ips at the time). They were actually really nice tasting. They were like a gumdrop but less sticky. The detail work was a nice contrast that had the little candy crunch. Kind of like a crunchy icing. Not much flavor in the icing but it was super nice. It was always funny to eat though because random parts would fall off LOL LOL.

I had the 3D gummies one time at a birthday and it made me extremely uncomfortable because technically I was eating the characters which really freaked me out. Looking back they were pretty good maybe they will make a come back because I want to try them again.
