Why do you want to? It’s a shim over bucket design. If you’re looking for high rpm, I hear you need to go to shim under bucket. That’s just Internet info, not personal experience.
I have 180K mi and mine is supercharged. I’m not worried about valve adjustments. Changing a quad cam system over to hydraulic would be an engineering marvel. If you do it, let me know!
Have you come across any good videos or articles about getting 10 psi with this kit on a LS430 3UZ-FE? I read the post below about the 750whp but I think 400 would be plenty fun in a daily driver still on the AT 6 Speed. I have read the connrods can be upgrade to the pre vvti 1UZ fat boys and then maybe the next limit is the thin cylinder walls. Is 5psi really the limit on those because of the cylinder bore?
Limitations are generally: transmission, ring lands and rods. There isn’t a magic psi per se, but anecdotal consensus has generally been 5-6psi is a “safe” limit. I personally witnessed the A650 tranny being the weakest link as mine went bye bye without any boost. That said, with proper AT mods and tuning, I’d be comfortable with 6psi on a 3UZ for a DD. My car is now at 8psi and aside from putting on headers, that’s about my comfort limit.
