- In this video we install a USB flush mount charging port in our Ford truck. We installed this charging port on the top tray on the instrument panel. This USB charging port is hot whenever the truck is running.
In my videos I talk about my experience daily driving my 2020 F450. My truck has updated 6.7 Powerstroke with 1,050 LB-FT of Torque and 475hp. I also feature my 2019 F250 with the 6.2 L gas v8. Comment below and thanks for watching!

Great job you made it look really easier then it is. All your knowledge on the ford trucks is really amazing and reassuring to someone like me. To be able to watch learn and try, and get it done professionally.
Just added a dual USB port and a cigarette style plug, but I drilled the holes for the ports on the slanted portion under the speaker. It worked perfectly and plenty of room for the wires and but end of the ports in that layout
That speaker is a lot smaller than I imagined lol. I also can't even tell there's a "sub" in the back.

I paid my local stereo shop to go through my 2018 f250 and wire all my usb constant hot for 100 bucks…
They don't point out very well that there is a dash support bar running right under the middle of the tray. There is no clearance if you try to put the USB there. That's why it shows it sticking clear up.
Particular product name or link for that charging port? I'm sure there are several out there to choose from. I'm installing a Bulletpoint mounting setup in the tray and want to route the charging like you have so I don't have wires hanging in front of my screen/buttons.

Could you have used a piggy back fuse and got power from the interior fuse box instead?
