I live in Hungary and own a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid AWD. It's my first Toyota and hybrid model. The video highlights impressive specs that align with my experience. Overall, I'm delighted with the car. However, there are a few points to note. The rear legroom is not as spacious as it should be, the motor engine noise becomes noticeable during acceleration, while the fuel consumption in the city is excellent, it increases significantly at speeds above 130 Kms/h. Additionally, I've noticed occasional funny noises from the brakes, which I've been informed is normal for a hybrid car. Android Auto is only available over a wired connection. the exhaust hangs very low and it is noticeable from the back.
Thanks for watching. Yes rear legroom is a bit tight, but this is not a large car. I'll take your word about speeds over 130km/h - that's illegal in Australia! Didn't notice any noises from the brakes though. Cheers.
Me and my fiance newly orderd a Corolla cross, but we don't mind the sound of the engine. When we test drive it, we said oh so quite it is. We have now a Mitsubishi outlander from 2008, THERE we can talk sound/noicy...Yes it's not a hybrid but still. It sound way more then let say his parents v70 from 2007..
wow i orded mine on Tuesday the corolla cross gxl cant wait to get mine what petrol do i have to use the 91 normal unladed or the 98 the premium unleaded
Hello. I want to get this car. but my challenge is, here in South Africa they said the is no AWD and the is no touch big screen like that one. I wanted a hybrid with AWD and that type of screen in the corolla cross XR hybrid. hopefully if they ever have a 2024 version and come with those factures then I will be happy to get one. #FromSouthAfrica
Toyota have had some major supply issues which I think they're beginning to resolve, so it could well be coming in a future model. Thanks for watching!
Hi, I currently have a petrol Corolla Sedan and find the cabin noise quite loud to the point passengers in the back can't here me talking. Do you think the cabin noise in this was as bad ?
It might be the same. I had a test drive yesterday. I was sitting in the back, could hardly hear the conversation up front. I might change the tyres to reduce the noise.
When is the Camry Cross coming out. I wish the built in sat nav could show you the traffic ahead like you can see on your phone app for example. Also I wish Toyota would only have 2 specs in their range for example this one just GXL & Atmos get rid of the poverty pack basic GL, i'm sure everyone would rather have the GXL over the GL, just make the GXL cheaper and more people would go for it. To all you people who are comparing this car with Honda, HRV, Subaru Cross trek, Mitsubishi ATX and other cars in this class, the Toyota is a winner because it's a hybrid and that's why the people are going for this, to save on fuel and you have a good damn reliable car.
Don't recommend the hybrid model if you need some towing capacity. You ain't gonna tow anything besides your trailer. Just an empty trailer. Personally, O hate my 24 Cross Hybrid.

the blanked out buttons are heating for passenger and driver and also the heated steering wheel
Love your song preference BTW
Beastie Boys? So good.
Good review, but please the music does not add anything to your review...

According to the specs on the Toyota website it should be fine to run on normal 91 octane unleaded. Thanks for watching.
Nice review, can I ask what watch you was wearing at the time? 😂
It's a Seiko Kinetic Diver's watch. Don't think they make this exact model anymore. Had it for years and it's well loved.
@@4wheelsandaseat thx, still looking good on wrist. 😊

What specific colour is this?

I did not notice any excessive road noise. It felt like it was a pretty refined interior. Thanks for watching!

how much mileage it gives in full tank ? any test on mileage?
I bought an Atmos Corolla Cross Hybrid and I'm getting 4.7 l/100K

Nope; nobody wants an underpowered tiny car. Buy the hybrid version in the top trim. Even with dealer markup, it is a good deal for the segment.
I am looking for a new cow...

It's pointless, good car but it's not available here in Australia for a couple of years
Other brands (Mazda and Hyundai for example) do have stock available now
