I had to change my business model when I had to stop driving. Couldn’t do anything large because I couldn’t easily transport it to and from my storage facility on public transportation. I’m also limiting the lower dollar items as much as possible, but sometimes I have an auction lot that has low and high mixed, and I don’t want to waste things that will sell. So now I am gradually making room at home so that eventually I can keep the unlisted auction buys in storage and the listed items at home so I don’t have to waste too much time traveling back and forth to storage. Reselling has to be fluid to stay profitable.

those tools! someone is very happy!! the old tools are higher quality and tools these days are so expensive! you sold it fast and made a great profit and someone got a great deal. the way i see it is everyone is a winner!

I've been thinking a lot about packing time and storage of large packing materials...I may keep to small items that take less boxes and packing materials and time to pack... PLUS the space on the shelf that item takes up could hold 10 items of the same value
That's a great idea! Very good point. We are lucky we have lofts in our shed that we put our boxes in so they don't take up any floor space

It is really just automatic you're opted in to offer the discounted rate you get to buyers or you can opt out and charge them counter prices which is what we do. We use the difference to pay for shipping supplies
You did good with the tools for your new business model. If you were trying to get everything you could have out of it you should have separated the tools! Probably could have gotten double that or more! I am doing good to make $950/week so I would have squeezed all I could have out of it! You have an impressive store for sure!! 💯 I enjoy watching your content and it’s great seeing anyone be so successful in the reselling world “tips hat”. 😀

I haven't watched this one yet but have just watched the brooches, necklaces, glass and purses videos. I have a question. WHERE do you find these things? I go to garage sales, estate sales, thrift shops, flea markets, and do online auctions. While I've found some good things (like a Murano cornucopia that had a comp on Chairish for $1800), but not many high dollar items. Do I need to find East and West Coast online auctions or what?
I find them on hibid auctions mostly. I buy from all over the country

I don't think there were any they all had been listed for almost 3 years at under $10 so if they were going to sell thru probably would have lol

It actually was only $20 because they were close and we just put it in a sturdy box

I'm not sure coming from Canada how it works :( in the US if we use ebay international we just ship as we normally would and it goes to a hub and they deal with the international shipping part
