    2:35. All the first drill is a one big travelling drill. There are sometimes guys on the floor, thinking this is a good dribble, but it is not. One should hit the ball to the floor with the first step, the second step is too late and travelling.
    You could do even better, just push defender with both your hands, then make the ball guard lock with your hands and just rush to the basket. No need to dribble at all :)

      you have to be patient and attack when you see the defense is showing weakness. watch game film and see what nba players do and ask yourself why did they make that decision and implement that to your game.

      Don't know what is the right answer but just do some moves that will make his foot move and when you saw the chance, attack him or make a jump shot. Based from my experienced

      That's where self-belief comes in. Put in work and in high pressure situations your first thought should be confidence in yourself & your work.

    I’m living in Morocco and they call me for a travel whenever I try to do that first move , because I lift my leg before dribbling the ball , is there any way to prevent that ?

    • @jonfaecks1823
      @jonfaecks1823 7 лет назад

      In the NBA is that okay and no travel but I don't know how it is in Morocco. A way to prevent that is to just stay for 1 sec. before you dribble. This would slowdown your game but it would probably prevent a travel

    Drill #1 isn't a walking???
    Because you're making a step towards defender before dribling the ball

    • @toveii2893
      @toveii2893 5 лет назад +1

      It’s not walking. While in a triple threat, his pivot foot is his left, which means his left foot cannot leave the ground. His right foot is able to take steps in any direction. Even if he takes a step with his right foot going into a dribble, or taking a right step and then back into a triple threat, it’s not a walk. Hopefully this makes sense lol.
