Yeah. I recognized it as a "Charlie Christian" pup... but which one is it? I've already been lookin' for one for my Tele, but I'd love to know what brand you're using... Looks awesome in a Tele! Wonderful tutorials BTW!

I love these lessons SO MUCH!! And appreciate Tim as a master player and teacher... but has he EVER met or taught a female player?? I was playing this type of music I'm a band when I was 13 in 1982. Thought by 2010 the stigma would be gone. I mentioned in another comment that when I was jamming with Brian Setzer before interviewing him (I'd already photographed him 3 times, so he knew about me), he said, "I didn't know a girl could play like that!" Ha! I gave him the stink eye ac a joke because I heard that my entire life (actually got free gear from BBE because their advertising was only for guys)... Brian apologized then told me about Rosetta Tharpe.
Seriously. Via asked my why I never went pro.
I started in 1977 and knew of no other female guitarists except Barbara Mandrell was a GREAT guitarist... no one took her seriously. (Iij didn't care for her music, but dang, she could flat pick and finger pick like Roy Clark!)
Anyway... there's a lesson to be learned here.
I'm not currently playing due to spinal injury...my brother Jason Becker and I keeping it real, continuing to study and write and visualize ourselves playing.
So yeah. It's one thing to say, "Ok guys, you got that?"
Our language is patriarchal by nature. But always saying "I always see guys doing ..."

Dang! I'd LOVE to see Tim and Mimi jam. They're both Masters and they're both incredible teachers. But mostly, neither of them ever plays an arbitrary note.
