YOU KNOW WHATS BEAUTIFUL ABOUT MUSIC IS? That's it universal. Ppl of every color on that stage united and having a great time! There's no racial boundaries when it comes to music! And blonde? She was having the time of her LIFE! Considering how toxic times are now, watching this made me smile. Great energy was created that night
Knock On Wood, one of my best all time favourite songs. First heard it in my primary school days and five decades on, still can't get enough of it. What a classic, what a tune!!!

That woman could go on to be a Supreme Court justice. Her son could find a cure for cancer. Her daughter could become President of the United States, and on her deathbed she'll remember when she danced to "Knock on Wood" on stage with Eddie Floyd
@franklyterrence4860, bass player is the late, great Donald "Duck" Dunn. Steve Cropper and Donald Dunn grew up together. As many know, they were part of the Blues Brothers band.
who's the drummer with the long hair & hat?? I know he played with Santana at the Watsonville earthquake relief concert......anybody help me with this?

So sad the studio version gets spoiled by this very Las Vegas meets a gospel church approach. Simply too much people standing on that stage. The studio version was so great exaxctly because it had that restrained but super efficient touch. Here we get nothing but overacting and Barnum effects. Not my singing cup....
EvenThough This Song Was Made Way Before I Was Born It's Still A Classic Till This Day
Eddie Floyd Knock On Wood . I've always liked this song .👍👍👍👍👍
Long time ago this song came out like it was yesterday.....
I can smell the Jade East flowing off the stage! Dance sisters and bothers. Good on you Eddie. JImB In Toronto.
I LOVE this song....Back when music was fun and the singers knew how to interact with the audience.
Always loved this song!
Heard this at 16. Great tune!

Fantastico, che diavolo di un uomo!!!

T'he good Old Days. ❤🎉
The remake of this song is FABULOUS.
Too many musicians! All you need is Cropper, Dunn, Preston, a decent drummer & horn section. Floyd always works it - total professional.
Sorry, but you need those Memphis horns too. Without them, it's not Stax.
YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TALENTED MUSICIANS', OR ENOUGH ATTRACTIVE LADIES, MY GRANDFATHERS TAUGHT ME THAT OVER 50 YEARS AGO.
Wow two bass players. The guy looked like Donald "Duck" Dunn. The Lady looked like Carol Cane. Great musicians.
It was Duck
Carol Kaye
Why 2? Duck Dunn should be plenty

Is that Carol Kaye on bass behind Dunn?
Yep.
Mr. Floyd knows how to work a crowd. Bet that lady's date was jealous AF.
I think that gal had a bad case of JUNGLE FEVER!
That is one uptight crowd there at the beginning, but props to that lady for getting up on stage and working it. Bet her man was jealous as shit.
She did really good
It was staged
@@kevinthomas4074 You couldn't possibly know that. Let people enjoy things.
Steve Cropper on telecaster, Donald Duck Dunn on the Precision bass with two other bass players.
The lady really looks like Tracy Austin (HOF tennis player).

I'd ACTUALLY RATHER HEAR IT ON THE STERO. NOT A BIG LIVE MUSIC PERSON UNLESS IT'S REALLY GOOD.
Don't like this version. Wrong pacing.
cringey
