Big shout out for Jacob and Randy of Guilty of Treeson for taking down my maple. I enjoyed watching them work, a really tough tree, even though it was frustrating for them at times. If you noticed the base busted into 3 sections when it hit the ground and is a good example of how dangerous these maples can be. Even though it appears Randy and Jacob have a great time in the course of their work, all their cuts are decided with safety in mind, and as a team, they are continually bouncing ideas and strategies off each other. It was a pleasure watching this tree come to fruition in a safe, efficient and effective way. Their bid was more than fair and the comedy was a free bonus. These guys rock!
You are a truly understanding person, that tree (S) was a real challenge, I have never seen such a tangled mess. They are really expert and careful. Cheers, Rik Spector
Love when the nasty removal is done and over with and no injuries and nothing broke , just lots of frustration and cussing 😂 good work guys nice video!
Haven't watched yet, but am glad you made it through. I wanted you to climb down and resettle when you first got going on this beast and things went south. Sometimes your gut feeling is not enough, and "signs" that manifest themselves shouldn't be ignored. Getting rattled is part of the thrill, and persevering is a reward in itself. Thanks for documenting things and providing entertainment. Knowing the limits is a skill ultimately gained through experience.
Whats interesting here is jobs sometime suck. And we hurry through to get them done. You guys didnt do that at all. We hurry we make mistakes. Randy teaching us things. You guys aldo had some fun. You guys made the best out of this one and thay awesome!
Guilty of Randy, followed up by August Randicke, and then also Max Boom. You guys are hilarious! Sorry this tree was so miserable, but thank you for taking us along
Had a little chuckle at the end, seeing the homeowner humping plywood to the truck with Randy while Jake was walking around filming. Nice work on that monster!
God bless these two for taking pleasure in their free time with Harry Potter and the Hobbit. not the usual conversation I have been privy to on jobsites
you two make a great team to get things down on the ground safely! it was like multiple spider webs all inter twined! or a huge puzzle ! great video fun to watch! thanks Randy and Jake!
Great job jake and randy, this looked like a big nasty maple removal. You and randy make a good team man, and love seeing two tree guys make the best out of a crappy job. Ill be waiting for the premiere of guilty of randy LOL
With the full wrap on the 500i you can slide the handle over the bucket lip with the chain cover side towards the fiberglass ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUCKET! I DO IT ALL THE TIME. makes it easy to have two saws and not take up tons of room. But always have your saw tied on to you...just in case 😮
After your video intro and you said "yow",you should have cued Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness" .....that would have been killer.Great video as always
I just made a HUGE order from Sappy Supplies and I like to consider this video as my little "thanks, Axes and things!" I'm hoping these speed cut nano bars and chains work really well for the 194 I'm putting them on, and my buddy is going to probably order 4 more for the 201s! The real satisfaction I get from this video is a horrible tree that I don't have to do. So the next time I'm working on some fairly easy dead ash tree I'm gonna be like, "ha! at least its not that maple!"
Another great vlog Jacob always love it when Randy is involved but have one question which could leed to a purchase what is the holder for the chainsaw called that you use in the bucket truck and do you sell it on sappy supplies and if so do you send to the U.K. and if u do definitely will place an order hope to hear back 😊😊😊
When we had to lay down protection where I worked, the most important thing is to use a-frames whenever possible so you don't have to carry them. For your jobs, see if you can put big soft wheels on a cart. The cart rolls on top of the protection as you go. Limit the amount of lifting. You have a crane, use it. put lifting holes in the sheets. Stack them maybe 6 at a time and use the crane to move them. We had dozens or hundreds of sheets sometimes. Minimizing handling is essential. Mostly we had 1 person to move the cart and 2 people to load. We could do several dozen sheets in a half hour.
That's just a normal day out hear in the north east. Minus all our over head power lines every where. Lol. Flip side a tall tree for us is 100'. Keep up the great content and climb safe brother!!
John word of advice, when everyone unloading excavator, always rotate your machine so your boom is Facebook ward, I've seem excavator flip over back work, especially mini Excavator. Remember mini are narrower the big Excavators, as you defend down your trailer you have or control over you machines. I had a friend was loading a Allis Chamber track loader that didn't have any Rippers on the machine, plus not roll protection, he flip it over backwards and it killed him. Loading and unloading equipment can be very dangerous. Good luck thanks for your videos.
It seems like the penalty for bidding the job wrong would be listening to complaining for 2 days straight....but unknown to Jake, Randy loves hearing him complain. Nice to see you guys having fun out there. Stay safe.

That tree was a monster 45 years ago when I built my house, I'll be having a conversation with grandpa when I get to the pearly gates.

One wave of a wand and an expecto patronum and that tree would have been on the ground. Or at least there wouldn't be any dementors hanging around 😏

What’s your thoughts on the 562 ??
Picking mine up tomorrow.

It seems like the penalty for bidding the job wrong would be listening to complaining for 2 days straight....but unknown to Jake, Randy loves hearing him complain. Nice to see you guys having fun out there. Stay safe.
You and Randy make good content. The tree was a ..."So you want to in the tree service industry?" tree.
We try!
