Howdy Jake, the highly anticipated sequel Gigantic Dead Maple Removal Two is now out and it doesn't disappoint. From the start there's fore shadowing of troubles to come with rain soaked ground making equipment set up difficult. Electric saws meet their match in this Maple behemoth. A hero is taken out almost immediately with a broken pull rope handle. A camera drone mysteriously falls from the sky? Will the arborists of Eastside Tree Works prevail? The writing is on the wall when the Stihl 088 Magnum is unleashed. The age of the tree is left unknown as the heart of this beast has been cored by nature for quite some time. Have A Day! ;~)
Epic 😂

Do any mills want the wood you can't chip?
I've been wanting to start a mill and I'm wondering if tree removal services sell the trees or give them away.
Out in Lake Forest Park, Wa.
K.
@@bradleejones9959 "It depends".
The wood actually belongs to the land owner.
Thats one great team - as an ex crane operator I gotta tip my hat to Brian - the guy is as safe as its possible to get, no wonder you had no hesitation in getting him to lift you AND the branches. My old man is a 90 yr old ex forester and he was green with envy at the equipment used nowadays - he had to do all that by hand but he loved every minute of watching these 2 epic vids - hats off from 2 generations of UK tree men.
Just watched 2hrs of some guys cutting up a tree. 4 stars would watch again.
Why not five??
5
10 stars if possible lol
@@6.7ram 5 stars each for a total of 10.
You ever spend 45 minutes learning how to square file a saw chain despite having no treecutting experience at all? No regrets.

Watch as the freshly hatched Arborist emerges from his wooden cocoons. Bewildered and hungry for coffee and donuts.
Watched this instead of the Super Bowl. Awesome job
Awesome man thank you!
From what I understand you didn’t miss much. Woketopia all the way through. Although I did catch the stealth bomber flying over that was pretty cool
There was a Super Bowl?🤨
@@KhanMann66 yeah. Or didn’t you think there’s gonna be one because of Covid
@@bigjay24910 Super Woke BS
I'm kinda worn out, and my back is complaining, after watching these two videos. Thanks for the workout! 🍺😁
Thanks for posting Part 2. I've been anticipating seeing how it worked out. Great job by all and with no one injured, through a complex operation. Awesome!
Good show guys, we don’t see too many videos on dealing with the hazards of workin’ dead trees so it was very much appreciated, thank you.
The Doughnut Cam is NASA level amazing use of tech.
If only the donut had been a Maple Bar... missed opportunity ;D love these videos!
Haha 😂 I sent a screenshot of this comment to Kevin
That was a good one. Was glad to hear the word "mill" at the end. Might be some nice stuff in there.
Your team has great coordination. Nice to watch.
Amazing footage! Never will I complain about the cost of tree removal. Jake is a master at his craft.
That property is gonna get so much more sunlight now. It’s going to change the entire makeup of the vegetation, landscape, moisture problems and possibilities for the homeowner.
Yep!
Better than a tree fall down onto the building
Did Scott see his shadow? We need to know if there will be 6 more weeks of winter or not.
Lots of people pay big money 💰 for spaltic/quilted Maple wood!!
And that was beautiful lumber. Not every tree has to be chipped! Just saying..!👍🏻❤️❤️💪🏼👊🏼🔥🔥
If the tree wasn’t rotten and dead there was 5grand worth of lumber. Too bad
Contact Jakes boss! You can negotiate the money and details and start making some big bucks off the wood . If you don't, they're just gonna keep making chips.
@@nathanarievlis3985 yep! Most trees get chipped because the tree guys can’t get anyone reliable and consistent to take the wood. Not worth their time to mess around with if someone won’t come out when they say they will.
I don’t like work in the rain nice job
I hear ya. It rains so much out there, those guys have no choice but to . I give them credit too, they seem happy. I get pretty miserable when it's raining lol
Swinging an 88 Stihl in a saddle is tiring enough without all the other work you've already done through out the day. They are no slouch of a saw standing on flat ground let alone up on a tree lol.
Got that right, thing sounded mean
I've cut trees, and seen them cut, but never watched a pro do it before. Amazing!
I've been waiting for part 2🤗
I was hooked from the minute I saw that monstrosity of a maple you were carving on. That's a whole lot of furniture material it's gonna make. Great job!
A hell of a lot of well seasoned firewood in that tree.
You all did a great job on a very dangerous tree take down. We lost a good high school friend years ago while cutting a tree down. He didn’t have a bar that spend the trunk of the tree. Well it spalled off twisted and hit him in the chest crushing him stoping his heart! So this job is truly something you can not be to carful & smart about. God bless and stay safe!
Very skillfully done! Great job done by all on the very difficult tree. Loved watching this one.
The anticipation of every limb you cut literally wore me out! It felt so good once you leapt on top the stump! You certainly know your stuff and that monster proved it. I subscribed on the first video and couldn't wait for the second and finish . I've been filling trees and cutting firewood for many years now and still with it at 66. It seems to get in the blood. You all are a great team and a real hoot!! Stay safe, blessings from Colorado .❤
That was an awesome video!!!!! Watching the old dead tree getting cut down is very satisfying! That was hilarious at the end when you were able to stand in the hole in the stump! I can’t believe how deep that was!
"I lost the poop" 😂
Great job Scott, Brian and Kevin
Really enjoy watching yall from East Texas.
Awesome drone footage Tree Dudes!💪🏼🇺🇸
Im new here. Im 63 years old. Never ben around or watched anything like this. I have watched about 6 videos so far. WOW.
The best tree work videos out there. Always enjoy
That was a great job, carefully thought out and executed. It does make me nervous seeing logs weighing several thousand pounds hanging in a sling almost directly over you.
That hole in the middle of the stump reminded me of a huge Valley Oak my neighbor had that split and fell. It looked perfectly healthy except for a V fork about 35 ft. off the ground. The larger half fell into my yard and flattened 2 big buckeye trees, plus it broke a both railings on an arched bridge I had put over a small creek bed.
When the tree guys were done cutting everything up, the stump was almost 8 ft.@ 2 ft. off the ground and 3.5 ft. of the heart was gone. You could have enlarged it and made a hot tub out of it!
An arborist estimated the tree at 325 years old give or take 20 years.
Husqvarna 395 to the rescue . . .
Great work, fellas.
Picture at the end is definitely the Christmas card to customers
Very impressive job! That was one humongous tree , the new graphics wrap on the crane is killer👍Thanks for the great video and the link to the wool outfitters👍 🌲
AwSoMe Job Guys....!!!! As an Ex Tree Climber From North East Ohio.... - I loved every minute of it - Big Nasty Maple....!! And I laughed when your pull cord broke on your Stihl cuz it's happened to me before brother. Again,,,,really great job - that Maple was a dead monster...!!!
Fun and interesting to watch as usual. Nice work on the drone shots, good to see you trying some different angles!
At 46:00 when Scott comes into view, the video shot made him look like a kid until you see the huge bear and mustache. GOOD JOB EVERYONE.
He does look like a toddler there hahaha.
I live across the pond in Wales, UK. Love watching true professionals at work.
Stay safe people. Brilliant work.
What a fine setup you have going with equipment. All needed for "The Tree From Hell."
You guys are the first crew I’ve seen that doesn’t look like a pack of horribly drug addicted loud mouth alcoholics🤣💯💜🥂 good job
Well it is the east side, good paying clientele.
Hah! I had "that team" do some work at my house 🤣
Thank you for all the great camera shots. Keep up the great works. Y'all are awesome.
His coworker " yea I guess I'll get a shot from underneath" lol
That, was a big maple. Good work crew 👊 That root cavity was crazy 🤣. I watched every second of this long video without remorse. Oh, and finally, a product endorsment I can wrap my head around 👍 Thanks Jake
I wish I could see a video about the milling, and what is made from the milled pieces! Thanks for sharing your work!
That tree was ginormous on video part 1! You guys did a funsastic job!😊 i enjoy your work!
Literally discovered your channel yesterday watching the first part of this and you upload the second part the day after. So excited to watch this whole thing.
Spectacular job guys! That hole at the end was so deep, it was unbelievable. Y’all made those homeowners some very happy people. Glad everyone made it through safely.💯❤️👏🏾😀👏🏾🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
I gotta say, coming from a former tree climber , I’ve watched just about all your videos and it’s making me want to get back into it!! Keep the good content coming!! Much love from Florida!!
Great job dude! Made it look easy. I admire watching you and your crew at work, awesome guys 🤙🏼
Do an Q&A on you and Jake’s big saws and what you like best about each one.
I did a video on all my chainsaws :)
Stayed up passed my bed time watching these guys
Jake, when you got in the hole, it made my day! Nice to see part 2. Thanks!
Finally!!! I’ve been waiting for you to put out a video lol been itching to watch a new video 🤣🤣keep up the great work love the content brother!!
A dangerous day at work, everyone goes home intact; well done.
26:15 that branch looks like a statue of a dog with a huge gun😁
You guys work well together....be happy to have a job you love and people enjoy working with - you can't beat that.
That was one huge-ass gnarly tree!! I can’t believe y’all fit down in the rotted out core. 😵 Awesome job, guys! 👍🏻
8:16....🤣🤣🤣
Hurry up and get a "tree pose" in. Good times and good job😎👍boys!
Great job Jake. Loved the end where Scott climbed out. Epic tree. Thank goodness you have a crane!
Nice final cut Jake, looks like you found the portal to Narnia in the base of that tree.
Great work gentlemen, but I'm a bit jealous! Why... well, because I'm 79 and couldn't get 'on' a tree let alone climb it! But seriously, my thanks for your video showing your quality workmanship habits and obvious knowledge of your choice of career! Very well done!! I wish all the best to you fellas for the future!
Wow never thought the chipper would cut up the large limb. Learning thanks for sharing
2:12 use the chippers winch to help pull the truck & chopper across the soft ground. Always works a treat
38:50 when the drone is flying around Jake it looks like there is a face in the tree near his helmet. Super clear at 39:05 right before the drone dies. Nice photoshop effect for a super creepy looking tree
Thanks guys. Learnt a lot from this... and I've been doing it for twenty years.
Amazing work! The best was seeing you drop down into that rot hole! WOW!
I'm addicted to these videos.
Thank you for your special videos I sure like to watch every one of them and you all make a good teamwork working together safety always comes first above everything else God bless you all and thank you
Thanks for sharing and all the work that goes into making these videos, you guys are awesome.
Man you let me feel embarrased xD i Feeling exhausted after dismantling Just tiny little trees in comparison to this Bad Guy😂💪🏻
Awesome stuff Jake and hats off to your crew. Great work!!!
What a huge and gnarly tree. I love watching all the knot craft.
This is the greatest channel I didn't know I needed! Another fascinating episode. Thanks for uploading.
Jake totally is happy go buddy!Really liked your nature, no matter the problems ahead you keep on doing your work with patience and freedom.👏👏
38:20 I have watched that over and over so cool.
Flawless execution. Will never understand how building a house immediately adjacent to an old tree makes any sense. From the potential of it crushing the home and injuring occupants, the roots ruining foundation or piping and just the leaf litter.
The easy of using those lines//ropes is very impressive. Thanks fir showing
Tip o' the hat to a well-coordinated crew. Makes all the difference in the world. And an extra one to the one guy you don't see much, that being Brian aka Mr. Finesse. I don't imagine riding the ball would feel good with a stranger.
All of you kick and I liked that group shot in the final seconds.
Cheers from Ottawa, ON
So happy the 2nd video was up by the time I'd finished the first lol nice work 💪question tho when rigging/craneing big stuff I usually do a step then get myself out the way and get the lads to break it while I'm safe 🤔 I'd guess the trees so dead u don't want that crane tugging on anything at all.
Piece of music (2:33) is 'Ticket To Ride' by Tony Spinelli - and very nice it is, too.
Great video, I watched both parts, beginning to end. Great work all round.
This was a fantastic watch thank you for showing us your skills, great work and humor. Five stars.
Impressive team work. Well done guys!
That tree is its own little ecosystem based on water and racoon poop.
Jake looked like a Hobbit climbing out of that hole in the stump! Great video. Your climbing and saw skills never cease to amaze, and your patter with the crew never ceases to amuse! Blessings from Ohio!
Really enjoy the coordination your team has cutting down this behemoth of a tree. Before you take the last pieces to a mill, consider some slabs for table tops & the branch stubs for bowls. :)
awesome shot following the trunk up with the crane. you guys do some of the best shots, along with your work, really an incredible channel
Nice camera work Jake, drone going up the tree. Need a nice light 460 up that tree.. I'll lend you mine barker box .. square ground just like Jeds. Great showing the knots you use on the horizontals.
38:16 learned something new
The moss on that tree reminds me of those chia pets they sell at Christmas time.
I really enjoy watching you guys videos. Lots of great information and helpful tips. I'm just starting to learn how to climb and I have learned a bunch from watching you guys!! Keep it up!!!
Awesome video guys, keep up the good work!
Great to see you work as a spot on team
You make this work look so easy, i climbed my biggest tree today and struggled my way up and it was smaller than the stick you started with haha, good work mate
The stump was so huge the 2 of you looked like a couple of 10 year olds. Such a great coordinated team effort
Love the Duckworth rec.
A humungest job. Done very well. So glad that only the tree was cut down and no one or the house was hurt. That crane was amazing also. Great job all the way around guys.
Super cool to see high caliber arborists using electric saws! Shows how far technology has come
You are very happy guys...i like happy people on the job or in a work place...i want to work with you guys....
To be able to remove the trees takes great skill, you do an amazing job. Stay safe and thanks for sharing
Greetings from the BIG SKY. I figured it would take longer than a day to take out that dead tree, You have the equipment to do it well.
