Dude. I'm proud of you Jake. I've watched you since before your part with Seattle Tree. I'm glad I've been able to see you grow these past few years. "I think your killing it bubba." Even though you don't know me and my name doesn't impact your conscious, im an experienced climber and I feel like we've worked through the learning curve together; with your videos, I've learned as well. Thank you for your humble content. Jon Soto
Hey Jacob, when you do come to NH this is the lead climber for one of the largest tree companies in the state. He's the reason I started setting up all these plans for your trip out here, once things settle down with the new baby. We're very excited to have you out here! I know you and Jon will have a blast when you connect. -7fingersawguru
Jake, try your new scabbard on the (inside) of your bucket. You’ll be less likely to drop a Saw out of the sky if you’re monkeying around a busy tree. Give a lanyard for your chainsaw a shot in the bucket as well. And remember that Milwaukee pole saw that you bought? It looks like it might’ve helped you when you were above Randy. I’m going back to watching your video as always. Thanks for sharing brother.
I do line clearing and instead of putting the scabbard on the inside we’ve always put it on the outside and run a rachet strap around the scabbard and entire bucket and keeps it nice a firm and doesn’t slide from corner to corner, also we use lanyards on the bucket and it definitely helps but I tend to take it off while trimming overhang in case of branches catching it and hitting the primary
@@VeteranTreeService that’s right, he would never and even if he did drop it, he would use telekinesis to pull it right back up because that’s how good at his job he is
So glad you are now prospering in your business you got a rough deal from Seattle tree group however now you have been blessed by God for the humility and trust you showed throughout that ordeal, Your family must be proud of you and your work ethics .
Great job Jake and Randy! I love watching the two of you work together so funny! I burst out loud when you said horse! I'm a horse lover but that cracked me up. Stay safe out there!!
Hey Jake and Randy ..... Y'all need to work together all the time. Y'all are so much fun to watch and play off each other so well . 😅😅😅 Hey Jake , you need to make a cartoon decal of you and Randy saying " Breaking the Law " dressed like Bevis and Butthead but with shirts saying Sappy Supplies 😂😂😂
There is no greater menace to polite society than a pair of OUTLAW ARBORISTS! Howsomever, I do admire your fast-thinking resourcefulness in "appropriating" the traffic cone. 👍👍
Nice work! In Australia road workers sometimes chuck old traffic cones and signs that are faded & damaged into the bush, have found a few & recycle/ reuse 😉
l always when 'm in the bucket I have my bucket Harnessed on, I also put a saw lanyard on it. Just in case I drop my saw whatever get pinched or I would drop it by accident. It would catch it if that helps god bless
I was using a 500 all day today clearing a windfall off a structure. It is beautiful! light and powerful. great job today. thanks ...time to re-up on the safety stuff eh, dont get to comfy.
Nice video. I just cant get enough of that nice ripping little Husky. Its really awesome. Good job and nice seeing Randy again. BTW, i work in law enforcement, but not in US, im from Europe so you and Randy are in the clear 😇
Always fun and entertaining with Jake and Randy. The Husky sure was on fire today. That shot was awesome, dropping the cuts at the same time. Good to know that sausage was hot. lol
Oh no, another tree surgeon is going to the dark side. It always starts with something little, like forgetting your cones, then the next thing they're climbint trees with no ropes. Such a slippery slope 😢😂
Awesome Jake. I've been on the Carnivore diet since May 20th. Lost 40 pounds. Eat all the meat & animal fat I can handle. Arthritis is gone. Shooting pains in my feet is gone. Last week, I ate a bag of peanut clusters in a sitting. The next day, it was like I was hungover. My whole body ached.
I understand one of those trees is black locust which is one of the most rot resistant woods in America. Maybe you could sell it for fence post or saw it for decking matl. I have several Catalpa trees which along with live oak can be sawed and used out doors without being treated with chemicals.
Jake increases his speed by taking a big #2 before getting in the bucket. Randy, on the other hand, is so clean and pure he's never pooped. He just effervesces the waste out of his magnificent skin. Nice work, you poopless angel.
Yum. Black Locust. One of my favorite woods to work with...no joke. Harder than Chinese arithmetic when cured, but cuts well without burning (with sharp, carbide blades), and was a distinctive look especially if you can get a tree with the super-cool iridescent green rings. Try some...if you can find someone crazy enough to mill it!
🚔Bad Boys Bad Boys Whatcha Gonna Do Whatcha Gonna Do (With that road cone Randy took!) So funny watching and listening to you characters! #StaySafe #BeBlessed
Also, is there any possibility you can do something about those rediculous high international shipping costs? I wanted to buy that limited edition rope runner pro on Sappy, the dang thing was nearly 500 bucks with shipping😭😭
Great vlog Jacob but one question I need answered is what is the technical term for the chainsaw holder that you have for the bucket truck be great to get an answer from you or someone else that watches the channel but keep up the good work 😊😊😊
You really should have an outrigger pad under the outrigger at all times. When I was younger a foreman set up the truck and sent me up, the truck started sinking and I was doing line clearance, almost went into the power lines. It was a similar situation as your truck parked on the side of the road. Be safe man.
Wow, all you guys need is some cones to legally block the road? In germany we have to apply for a "verkehrsrechtliche Anordnung" (Traffic Order?) and have to attend a RSA21 training. And we have to submit a RSA21 conform plan with all the necessary road signs. And all this at least 2 weeks before the job...
so..whats the law they are breaking? working without cones? edit: blocking the road? in my country only blocking "fire exits" (fire department roads) is really illegal, else, if you have reason, i.e. working, unloading without other options or removing safety hazards, its totally fine. bonus points if you properly use your hazard lights. :D
Pretty much. I don't know the rules where Jake is located but in my part of the US we have to notify the police, fire, and ambulance service a week in advance if we're are going to be closing a lane for more than two hours. We also aren't allowed to close a lane down in heavy commute times either. There are also rules about warning signs, cones and traffic control workers as well.
Why don't you lanyard the saw while in the bucket? I'd hate the drop the saw. Plus the liability if it hit someone/thing. Love your guys humor - keep up the great work.
You like the Husky top handle over the Echo? That lil ported Echo is wicked man.. I need a top hand bad but only for like 4-5 trees! I can’t justify putting $300 plus n one but you think one of the off brand made n china ones like you played with worth getting to use 2-3 times tops. Im not climbing it will be bucket work
I'd spend the little bit more money and get an echo 355t. If you never need it again you can sell it. That Chinese junk might not even make it til the end of the job and if it does I doubt anyone will want to pay anything decent for it. Just my two cents. I've been using a 355t for about 8 years now and I like it.
Buddy, if you do a give away, make a personal video every single time, and even announce the winner in a video. Even when its something simpele like a one minute video with your iphone in selfie mode. Keep it safe and simple.
