Apply for eVisa online. It's $25 and takes about 5 days to get approved. The visa will let you stay in Vietnam for 3 months

that's such a nice-looking beach and it sounds/looks like the temperatures are such that one could really enjoy relaxing there. Like always, you are doing a great job of making it seem like I am almost there IRL. One question: how do you decide what to eat? It looks like there is a huge variety and all of it new and different...and apparently delicious. Thanks for the trip!

It's hard to decide what to eat sometimes. Sometimes people will ask me if I have tried something yet, and if I haven't I will seek it out. Or I will just look at photos and try something that looks good. Now I have a few favorites. Bun Cha is what I seem to eat the most often, and the further north you travel, the better it is. Hanoi has the best Bun Cha.

Yes. I went during the week late in the afternoon, and there were several grab drivers waiting in the area. Enjoy!

How did you find your apartment? From Airbnb or through an agent?

Find them from Airbnb, if you actually stay longer, ask directly from reception, and they will give a discount.
