Wow! Another great video. It looks like such a clean nice beach town. I’ll share this with some friends. Hope you get out and surf and maybe get a video. Safe travels.
I wouldn’t call myself an expat, but the secret is out. Da Nang is wonderful and a lot of people are interested. It’s a large city. Good for them. The people of Da Nang can handle it. Hopefully 🤞
In Vietnam, it is only possible to have a long term visa if you are a business man otherwise it's difficult to live there because the different visas delivered in Thailand for example do not exist.Of course it's a nice country.
I agree ! That same morning beach scene repeats itself in the late afternoon until after the sun is down . In the middle of the day is when the locals leave the beach for the skin scorching westerners . If it wasn't for the 90 Day limit I'd probably set up base right there .
Vietnamese government has no plan to introduce retirement visas like Thailand. Unlike Thailand, VN has very high real estates prices due to smaller nation with bigger population. Also due to past economic crisis, Vietnamese really like to invest in real estate. Adding retirement visas and people will come due to that visa will increase real estate prices even more, so they won't do it.
@@phamductri Vietnam is for the Vietnamese . Tourism friendly but not tourism reliant . They don't need the low caliber miscreants and mongers that Thailand attracts . Unfortunately that screens out some good folks that would love to live there BUT I understand and admire their approach .
I did the online EVisa. It’s good for 90 days. After that, as I understand, you have to leave the country and reapply. An overnight trip to Cambodia will do the trick.
The Da Nang deal breaker for me is the fact you're restricted to small swimming zones where you can barely go past waist deep water. You're stuck in the breakers and the areas are over crowded with people in season while 90% of the beach is restricted from swimming. I'm an adult and don't need to be kept in the kiddie pool.
Arrived here a week ago and the first 4 days were sunny and great. It’s been raining ever since and will continue for the next month. I’m prepared for it but others should know what to expect. You won’t see the sun again until January.
Live here, 100 meters from the beach, 3 story, fully furnished house, with large top terrace overlooking the beach and the breaking waves. Local price if 9,5 million per month.
Love your traveling videos just went to Thailand and it was a blast -- keep up the videos!!
Thank you! Very appreciated!

My pleasure buddy!
Our home for the winter. Thanks for visiting us. We love you.
I love you. Thanks for having me 😘
every week theres a new video of expats in Da Nang... at least one. Hopefully this doesnt turn things ugly for the city in the future.

I take it you’re Vietnamese with that statement?
I miss old da nang when there were no buildings along the beach, only wild flowers and green grass. I'm shocked to see how much it's developed now.
Sounds incredible. It’s hard to keep such an amazing place a secret. They do seem to be handling the growth well. So there’s that.
great video thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Wonderful Video! I love Da Nang. Keep the videos coming and be safe Buffer. :)
Thanks man!
My wife and I went to Danang a month ago and we loved it. Where going back in January
I think I'm heading back in January too. Absolutely loved it.
@@BuffertheTourist cool. Five years ago went to ho chi man and didn’t like it. The people weren’t nice, but in Danang they were very nice.

I agree. I’m seriously considering it. I love the healthy lifestyle there compared to other SEA destinations.
@@BuffertheTourist That is a good point as well and there's an airport right there handy to get you out to travel .

I ❤️Da Nang. There are other livable cities in Asia. Chiang Mai, Penang, and others
Thanks for the comment. I’ve heard the same about Chang Mai. I need to check it out.
SO they combined Soccer & volleyball into 1.
Yes. I looked it up. It’s called folleyball.
da nang is on my list , is english widely spoken there
Yes. Beachside you'll have no problem.

It is strange. The swimming zones are also so narrow.
you can swim into deep water or go outside of the restricted area, take your own risk

Good advice. The rain started on my last day there.
lovely- what a wonderful day. look how many people are in the water. just think of all the locals having their morning shit. 🤣
how blessed is ignorance. 🙏
Boring - same same 🤨
Please stay where you are and don't go to DN. You are not welcome!
