I always felt like the devs NSMBU were eager to do new things with the series but higher ups kept holding the devs back. Luigi U feels like the closest they got to making what they potentially wanted. It feels like they were on a field day with the level design it's very creative

2013 was the first time I went as Luigi for Halloween, and the year Newer Wii came out in the same month as Luigi U.

I had never thought about that “think outside the box” thing. That’s one of the most clever details Nintendo’s put in a game yet! Nonetheless, I enjoyed this video a lot. The jokes were pretty good in this one, especially the last one. NSLU is my favorite 2D Mario game as well, so it’s nice to see it get some more love. Props to you, Chipss.
