These are some super cute 🥰 Armos. My favorite character is Shant. He seems so introspective and genuine. His family is also 🥺💛 I love how they all do chores and inherently challenge gender norms that’s still deeply rooted in our culture.
Normally I don’t ever watch anything Armenian related but after seeing about this show from a friend’s ig story I thought why not give it a try and I must say I learned a lot. I always thought every Armenian are the same that are stereotyped cuz usually the Armenians I see around me all care about money, designers, etc but like I have never seen such a wholesome family like Vanessa’s but then again it’s probably my own fault since I don’t really meet new Armenians and don’t like going over to people’s houses. I think this is a great way for people to meet and I love how some of the parents fully supported their children to do this like shant’s dad who is such a mood and wise and just like liana said you want to go grab a beer with him he’s funny and laidback unlike any Armenian parents that I’ve met or known. I’m really hooked into this show and I wish the episodes are longer

Production value is really good and it was shot very well. I wish it would explain more about how many people are in the fold.....it says 3 Armenian singles in the opener yet by episode 3 we haven't seen who the third person is. Also is accepting a second date like agreeing not to meet anyone else on the show? I like Shant a lot, also as an Armenian I love that his Dad says our culture needs to learn and become more progressive and be less judgmental. Standards are very high and people are not open to different ages, mindsets, family dynamics etc. hence why more Armenians are staying single for longer. I think this is a big step for the culture to move forward and not be so set in the past. Cheers for creating this show
