Cpt. Tymur, very nice videos. In my dreamworld, I'm a seafarer but in real life, I'm not. So, this videos are very interesting to me and fill a gap in my knowledge. By the way, the difference between the direction of the winds between the two hemispheres is called Coriolis Effect and it's due the rotation of our planet: the Earth, seen from the top, rotates anti-clockwise, so winds around low pressures on the North Hemisphere rotate anti-clockwise and, on the South Hemisphere, rotate clockwise, as Earth does if you would see it from the bottom of the planet. Adicionally, the low pressure means bad weather because the air is converging to the center and rising and, then, humidity is condensing due to lower temperatures in the upper atmosphere, which makes it rain. On the other hand, high pressures pull air away from the center which makes dry air come from the upper atmosphere to fill the void left by that air and, so, the humidity becomes lower and, therefore, more difficult to produce clouds . My regards. 🙂
Very good explanation sir... I wish I had a Captain like you in my Maritime Academy who explains soo well and telling the practical uses of the subject.
Thank you Capt. I was looking for this kind of explanation of Weather Warning. I've found out some new. Keep going making this kind of videos. I'm still waiting for "Passage planning" explanation. Have a good with that.
That's a very interesting demonstration and explanation. It's worth to go through it again and again like me who have no idea on atmospheric pressure. Thanks.
I agree with some people in comments that Captain gives to us more clean and laconic knowladge of main meteorogycal principles than boring lecturers in Marine Universities.
Lot's of incorrect info from perspective of meteorology and physics. But this is a good video to serve as a mnemonic explanation about the weather. Might help a lot to remember how it works without deep understanding on cloud forming, Coriolis force etc.. Thank you!

I wonder why it never equalises. You’d think it would just settle eventually. That toilet thing doesn’t always work. It depends on the size and shape of the bowl because it’s really small.
Love the ‘whiteboard’. Most interesting whiteboard I’ve ever seen, and how do you get your Weatherfax _so_ clean? From my portable SSB and laptop is is ‘just a little’ noisier!
Example of toilet flushing doesn't show for sure how does this force works. The nature of this force names by Coriolis force and it can works only in macroworld.
2:44 "I don't know exactly how does it work" (cyclones and anticyclones) - Then how can you think in your good mind to be a meteorology teacher, if you don't know what Coriolis force is?
@ Netflix Georgia Netflix, can you grasp what I'm saying? The guy is an ignorant, he doesn't know basic physics, yet he blabbers about things he doesn't have a clue about!! This has nothing to do with fluency in English. You are speaking perfectly in your native language and yet you're uttering nonsense...

You are in which academy Bro??
1st year naval student from the netherlands here👋🏼. Thank you for this quick introduction.
Thank you Capt. Tymur, well clear and very informative it is easily to understand.

Love this. Look forward to more. Thank you.

Many thanks for the videos.
We like the seas, love very much the boats and the stories of men of the sea.
Courage and keep going.
excellent video . ur teaching skill is really higher. love from india
Good English, very easy to catch, thanks for that ).
Nice perspective on atmospheric pressures
Great explanation. Thank you! ⚓️
Довольно интересно. Возможно у Вас будет возможность рассказать в подобном формате о работе с факсимильными картами.
Volodymyr Opryshko уже лучше о работе с парусами

Thank you Sir for such a Informative video...
Thank you Sir, very informative.
Hi Tymur, thanks for the explanation, very useful! Also, just so you know,it’s not just ‘gentlemen’ who need this info ;)
Thanks for your work.
Thank you. Greetings from Port State Control in Brazil.
So cool Dude! Thanks
The Best Explanation Ever

Very nice video!!
Very nicely explained sir. Thank you
Great videos
Thank you sir I learned a lot
Если я не ошибаюсь то направление вращения ветра связано с вращением земли и действием силы Кориолиса и температур между экватором и полюсами.
Узнал больше чем за весь курс Метерологии в академии
Thank you very much
thank you very much capt
Interesting ! Thanks 1
👍👍👍

Thanks. It’s more interesting to listen you in English
👍
Thanks, all clear!)))

In Northern hemisphere, wind rotates anti clockwise just because Earth rotates West-to-East and vice versa
Вы на карте всегда???
Straight isobar
Спасибо большое, ваш русский, я жду его
i guess if you live on the equator we dont need toilets!

Смешно
