Thank you so much!! I had a chuckle when you brought out the kilt pin, was part of my school uniform years back here in Canada. Been a very long while since I picked up the old needles & had quite forgotten many of the techniques my Gran painstakingly taught me as a young one. Truly appreciate your sharing your work, and for bringing back some fond childhood memories 💛
Mam, I’ve stumbled across your channels and I love your work. I really wish I understood better your techniques for shaping, when you give examples, for instance the purple sweater., and you mention a specific number of rows where we must decrease or increase depending on the case, (for neck or armholes) how do I adapt your criteria to my garment? Are you following a formula? or is it just from experience and you’re eyeballing it?🤔....I would love my set in sleeves and necklines to fit me like yours! Just beautiful 🌹👌
Most of my shaping is from my own experience and as you say Monica Eyeballing it lol, i try to do the shaping for a neckline by making it rounded so have to work out when to dec to get that rounded shape, trial and error comes into it a lot..
