I swap carry a fixed blade with me all of the time. I use a mixture of either the Bradford Guardian 3, ESEE Izula, and the Spyderco Aqua. I also carry two folders in my front pockets. The Bradford knife I have been carrying for over 6 months and I love the product.
I just wanted to bring to your attention the thing I like most about leather sheaths and that is silence smooth and supple like the living being it comes from leather is the stress free option. In most situations falling in the water is no big deal. In the situations I train for falling in is lethal. If you know your getting wet stow your sheath. If it's raining find shelter. If you are getting wet without a plan.... your sheath is the least of your worries. Anyway I like leather but I expect to change sheaths more often then knives. A leather sheath is not a 3 generation family heirloom. One of those sweet babies from Escanaba can go the distance. Thanks for the video and your well reasoned review.
no esee izula or izula 2 ?? we need more esee reviews I know you done one on the 3 and 4 but it's old needs updated. I have seen you bring some on other reviews but they don't have stand alone ones. the Bradford looks awesome i will probably pick one up! ps love the knife show I can't ever get enough tnpknifeshow
I agree with the last guy. Can't believe you skipped out on the Izula. Maybe it doesn't count because of its skeletonized handle? If any knife deserves a review...
Before I watch this video i just want to say. I ordered this knife about 2 days ago. It is fated that you just put up this video. I have been waiting for this review for such a long time. Thank you so much... now to actually watch it.
I've been carrying the TOPS mini scandi for a little over a year now. It was my first adventure into a fixed blade edc ... And I gotta say I love it... Def gonna be hard going back to a folder. Thank you guys for just being awesome
I EDC a Guardian3 at home over the past month (m390, black dlc, orange g10 and black leather), and take it with me sometimes in the rotation. I haven't abused it yet, but it does all the things I want it to and wears well. My colleague got a 3 and a 4 and he's modified the hot spots off the Guardian3.
I have carried a Old Timer Sharp Finger since the late 80's. I recently got a Condor Mini Bushlore and love it. My work and lifestyle makes a fixed blade more practical
I absolutely love fixies. Love love love love love fixed blades. Of all shapes and sizes. My personal opinion the best fixed blade knife on the planet is gough custom knives. I absolutely love the look love the designs the materials the attention to detail and all the different styles. And I honestly feel it's one of the strongest if not the strongest. Bad to the bone. The guy is a genius and he is great at whatever you does on top of that he is a great guy with a wonderful heart. So my personal opinion I think gough custom knives are the worlds best. All around knifes. ONE LOVE.
I carry two knives daily. A mini Griptilian and Buck 119 and sometimes swap in a kabar. I have a small landscape company in Florida so the fixed blade comes in handy.
hi to everyone at tnp. I just finished watching this video and was shocked that you do not find many tnpers carrying an edc fixed blade. I actually added my bk-2 into my edc back pack which I have equipped for a 24 to 48 hour emergency survival in an urban environment as I live and work in a big city here in the UK. I also have a spare swiss army cadet I think it is in my pack and carry in my pocket the kershaw 1555ti cryogenic which I bought because of my limited budget and the tnp review. I think no matter what environment you are in you should have a fixed blade to do those hard jobs and I find the bk-2 to be perfect for me at least for now. have to be careful what I do carry though due to UK knife laws. well love all your tnp vids keep it up man...cheers
I edc a Coleman camp knife, nylon sheath in the pocket with button snaps removed. Kind of big for edc, but I love it, best ten dollar knife money can buy.
I've been EDCing a fixed blade for years now, actually I suggested you doing a EDC fixed blade video when you did your folding EDC video. I mainly EDC the Esee 4 but also carry my Blackjack Tac Ops 4 occasionally as well. Nice video Nutn.
I occasionally carry a Schrade (US made) Sharpfinger fixed blade. This is my choice for EDC when I know I will be barbecuing or cooking for a crowd. Love that little fixed blade.
I like carrying small fixed blades. Been EDCing a CS Super Edge for years. Thanks for the great review, I like this knife a lot but probably not enough to pony up for one. Also, nice Endura! I got a Delica in HAP40!
I always carry my Chris Reeve professional soldier appendix inside the waste and. Works great and it is slim enough to barely ever feel it on my body and it frees up pocket space!
I love revolvers, particularly short barrel, big bore like the Ruger Super RedHawk Alaskan 2.5" .454, and the S&W 4" (actually 3.2" compensated) 500 magnum. I shot both these revolvers from 25yards using D/A standing, both 5 round groups measured 3.5"! I've also accomplished similar groups from 25yards using D/A from other short snub revolvers. Point being all of them are super accurate regardless of barrel length.
I EDC one, sometimes two, fixed blade knives and one folder. On a sunny day - Mora 511, on a wet day - Mora 546. And aal the time - a cheap old knife that my grandma gave to me a couple of years back.
DAMN, i have been eyeing this (not naming which one) for 6 months and was gonna buy after Christmas.....now they will be sold out.....thanks nutn ;) still love your videos
i carry a esee izula everyday on the belt horizontal. I took a niteize 360 degree rotating belt clip off a flash light holster i had and put it on the sheath the izula came with i love it. very versatile. i have it for defensive use i have a SOG multi tool that i use for basic cutting tasks.
Awesomely timed review nutn, I've been looking at the knife for a month or so now. Would love to see one of the guardians tested in the future, thinking about grabbing one for some camp uses. Rock on
love my fixed blades, I have been eyeballing the guardian for months now. I carry folder and a fixed blade on the daily. Generally my Strider SNGCC is my rut knife and a Benchmade 140 Nimravus for the fixed.
Didn't see this review coming. There are a lot of paratroopers in Alaska carrying this knife everyday. I bought mine about six months ago from a small shop in Anchorage. Stopped carrying it after I cut my finger a few times due to the lack of finger choil. I found the Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter a worthy alternative.
I carry a cold steel SRK nutn cant carry a gun in Cali but can carry a fixed blade its pretty ironic cant wait to get out of this state keep up the good work nutn @nutnfancy
I definitely remeber a guy you gear checked with a fixed blade. I think it was in front of a gun store, it was a younger fella. circa 3-4 Years ago :) He carried it inside the waistband on his back side. :)
I EDC a fixed blade and have for years. I have probably mentioned it somewhere, sometime on a TNP vid. I do for work and because it is a habit at work, it carries over to my off time too. Currently a Spyderco Perrin Bowie. I would probably carry this but not as a replacement for a fixed blade role. Maybe a bigger version. I always carry a folder too.
My martial arts instructor preaches fixed blade. I've been sticking with a folder because it doesn't look like a 'killer'. But the one on your table looks utility but could be very dangerous from a sheath and doesn't look over tactical. They are so fast. My instructor likes to get in the middle of one of our hand to hand rounds and say 'okay, now deploy your folder.' In the middle of a fight you just can't get it done without time and space. In the clinch you can only get a fixed blade out.
I edc a fixed blade around 5 days a week so i guess its not edc... But they are just better than folders IMO and in a lot of places an open carried fixed blade while it may turn some heads, is usually no nonsense legal.
I not only carry a M-Tech spring assisted folder, but I also carry a P99 made by Walther. For those sensitive about weight, this is a very heavy knife. A fair bit heavier than a K Bar.
They definitely look like a better EDC knife and so does the Recon Tanto by SOG, but they're a hundred dollars or more. I got my P99 for right around 25/30 bucks.
All Games Ah, I couldn't find the price for the Walther. To me it just looks so off, I'd rather go with something else; I really dislike the serrations and how they did the back of the blade. It doesn't seem bad, but really isn't for me. I hadn't realized that the fairbairn-applegate was quite so much, either; you'd think they could produce them for quite a bit less. Then again, I haven't really looked into fixed blades; California is kinda crap about carrying them, and until yesterday I was a university student (graduated) who couldn't carry on campus where I spent most of my time. I'll be looking into open carry fixed blades soon I bet, and really don't know about the pricing.
Well, to start off with something that isn't too high priced and pretty good quality, check out Big 5. M-Tech knives are fairly inexpensive, and pretty good for the price. CRKT and Kershaw are both good knives, but a little more expensive. Just go on Amazon and look for fixed knives with 4+ star rating and within your budget; once you find one, first, see if your local stores have it, if not, Amazon is usually pretty cheap.
Four minutes in and 141 views already. Fixed blade is the light weight tactical survival SOG Seal Strike with the Deluxe Sheath that will help feed the Emberlit Titanium UL multi fuel stove. Can wear the knife hanging from the SOE EDC belt or tip up on the 5.11 LBE Vest for the last week of October when the zombies peek. Thank you for the great video ! tjl
Sweet, Brad is an awesome guy to work with as well! I cringed when the other knife at the end bumped the edge of the Guardian 3 😨 will need a little touch up on that edge 🔪 Great video
the guardian seems like a good blade, but a bit overpriced for it's features. for around the same price you can get most smaller bark river knives in A2 w/ synthetic handle scales. i prefer convex grinds and using a strop to typical profile edges & sharpening. i am one of the minority who actually carry a fixed blade EDC, all the time. i'm glad you showed the bark river knives.. because my EDC is a bark river mini fox river, in cpm s35vn. Its the best stainless steel & heat treat of any of my knives.. even beats out my fallkniven f1 vg10. really good all around performing stainless, exceptional edge retention, no chipping, easy to sharpen, gets wicked scary sharp ( sharpest knife i own ). i prefer it to tool steels as well performance wise. handles batoning easily. it's a smaller 3" blade, but with a full sized, VERY comfortable handle for extended and hard use. the mini fox river comes with a sheath that you can carry horizontal / cross draw as well as vertical on the belt, and the sheath is very compact and so it disappears under a shirt easily. it's light enough i don't even notice it's there til i need it ( 3.8 oz ). i prefer carrying it to having a folder w/ a pocket clip actually. i honestly think it's kind of silly to fret over a few oz more for a fixed blade vs folder, when you are already carrying a pistol on you every day, that weighs far more. if i didn't have a belt i would just stick the whole knife and sheath in a pocket. i've always loved folders, they are just cool. but when it comes down to it, when you are really relying on a knife in the wilderness, for hard use, and for extended periods, a fixed blade is the obvious way to go. not many folders have handles that are comfortable for extended use, they are occasional light duty blades imo.
A2 steel was what Chris Reeve used to make his hollow handle knives. I owned a total of 6 of those, just sold the last one. They were all good stuff. Should have kept the Avitor, but prices went crzy sold I sold out and got a new Sebenza 25.
+Randall Kelley My Bark River Bravo 2 is in A2... with the convex grind, it is godlike. 99% of the people that don't like convex grinds just don't know how to sharpen them. If they can't clamp their full flat grind and drone away on it, they just aren't happy. I do love the FFG though, it is just that I prefer convex for its versatility.
I was really interested before it was priced. Not that I cheap out on my blades but for what it is I'd stick with my esee izula. I edc that all the time and love it!
+BonesTheCat I love both my Guardian3 and my Bark River. I need to get a smaller BRK, as I now only have the Bravo 2. These are both amazing knives, but I too would give my preference to Bark River. I feel they make the best knives on the planet.
I have the Springbok for harvesting meat. Couldn't be more happier with it. I'm a little on the fence with the sheath. It's well made, but I wouldn't be comfy having it attached to my belt in the bush because there's not much holding the knife in.. There's some negativity floating around with BR knives, but take that with a grain of salt. Some of it is justified with the treatment of the metal, but it seems if you use the specific knife for what it's designed to do I haven't had any issues. Can harvest two deer before it needs a touch up with the sharpening.
I don't know if you've ever looked at it, but it seems the TOPS scandi trekker would be strong competition for the Guardian 3 (and an alternative to a tactical folder IMO).
I'm getting back into fixed blade knives for carry. I can never find what I'm looking for as a sheath so might as well make one. Got two fixed Karambits that I'm waiting on so I can EDC. In the past I carried a 7" Ka-bar, TOPS Ranger, and a couple of lesser named fixed blades that I can't remember.
Never checked the fixed blade law in my state, don't care much anyway ,I'm EDC'n a RAT 3 from OKC along with CRKT M21-12gd desert folder. Check them out, nice carry combo.
Always liked the Gerber Gardian for a fixed blade in carry but most jurisdictions frown on the fixed blade being carried, concealed carry permit or not, if the DA is liberal leaning it could present a problem. Another interesting video Thanks. P.S. I have a Stainless Charter Arms 44 Bulldog in my shower.
I just started carrying the minimalist in the mini bowie version(neck carry) I forget I'm wearing it. It's sharp and a good utility shape. I'm also now testing the Cold steel Counter TAC II, (definitely a small defensive/ tactical knife) the sheath isn't great but I just clip it inside a belt loop in the back and forget about it till I sit in my truck. Then the carry method shows its drawbacks.
it does look nice , i like the size and shape too .,needs to lose the jimping . love the sheath . that hunter looks good too the Kershaw is a nice little one . never cared for a tanto blade ,don't know why i just never did . now that Gryphon is a real nice knife . the bark river is beautiful , and the fit and finish is better, scales are better . all in all, a whole lot of great knives , and great info . always gain knowledge from your videos . thanks Nutn . 697
Hey, Nutn take a look at the new Spyderco Fred Perrin Street Beat FRN. It's a smaller version of the Perrin Street Bowie you liked so much. VG10 vs. M390 but the ergos of the Spyderco are much, much better. Comes with the thermoplastic sheath with the C-clip, again the smaller version of the Street Bowie. Excellent retention.
I would say it loses to the SOG snarl or Pohl Force hornet in every way. The snarl is a very fast draw, utility blade, box cutter, brass knuckle and push dagger all in one and the hornet is even more extreme. For tactical application no training required, just draw and punch in a natural way. Finally, due to the short size of the blade you can really mess someone up but it is unlikely to kill them.
fixed blade EDC. I do it but I'm definitely in the minority. here's the thing, I'm a knifemaker all of the people I've met who EDC fixed blades are knifemakers. I've given friends my knives and they love them but they just don't like carrying on a belt. I'm working on a sheath that clips in your pocket like a folder . I've seen a few makers who make a pocket sheath
I've been carrying my Hogue EX03 with the hawk bill style, and i've really been loving it. The sheath that has the belt loop thing on could use some work but other than that its really cool. I've been using it as my tactical blade but it does get some edc use as well. You should check it out nutn!
I like this Bradford Guardian 3, but I think a worthy competitor at about the same price point from my research is the Buck 245MWG "Matt Would Go" designed by Matt Leathers, a fallen Navy SEAL, who was killed in a training accident, I believe. It is made from 5160 spring steel and coated with Buck's traction coating, I think. It features a micarta handle with adjustable kydex sheath with a TechLok for versatile carry. The blade length is just over four inches, and the shape is very close to the Guardian 3's. I have not obtained one yet, but I would love to see a Nutnfancy review on it.
+Tyler Barton It would be great to see a review on that one, sounds like a great offering. 5160 isn't too bad either and I like Buck's coating, though m390 is my current favorite steel. Hopefully we'll see that review and many more.
+Jeremy Madsen, I have not had any experience with M390. Somewhat surprisingly, the only "premium steel" I own is a MercWorx Sniper Chili "project knife" I obtained for ridiculously cheap in a pawn shop after someone took a grinder to it. It has S30V steel. I really like my Buck 625 Intrepid L fighter, too, and I wish Nutn would review it for more people to get their hands on a great lightweight fighter. That blade is where I have my experience with the traction coating. It wears well unless you are pounding steel with it.
CRKT Hawk K-AT Combo Edge Knife it is a small knife no longer in production. Same approximate size good rough grip I know that CRKT builds knifes by design license, so it's hard to make design changes to a current design. But grip changes, losing the lanyard, going with a leather scabbard. Even losing the saw teeth would be an improvement. But to me one other good feather is ability be a good field kitchen knife it suck to cut wild onions with a Boy Scout pocket knife. And skinning snake or marmot is a bit of a chore with a scout knife. I alway use a scout as a base for service ability works for me you could use the "GI all stainless pocket knife blade do not hold an edge"as a reference I give these knifes a rating of 2-2.5 depending on edge holding ability. So I like your knife looks good have you removed the grip to clean underneath routes the grips. I like the grip pattern looks sticky. Leather is better then plastic for ED carry. More later
If only it was that easy. Hell even if we have a blade that is legal over here cops don't like it if it can be opened one handed even though we have no law against one handed openers.
KamiSapmelash If they lock or are over 3 inches yes. If they don't exactly lock but are say held open by the tool folding in a way its a grey area that will come down to the discretion of the officer who stops you.
+ilikepork247 You must have been unlucky to meet a plod who gave you trouble about a one-handed opener - I've never met anyone who's had that trouble, not had any problems like that myself. But, as you say they are legal, so there's not much they can do about it even if they don't like them. Unless you are waving the things about in a dangerous / threatening manner public. of course.
I swap carry a fixed blade with me all of the time. I use a mixture of either the Bradford Guardian 3, ESEE Izula, and the Spyderco Aqua. I also carry two folders in my front pockets.

Love the whole package this knife brings. Blade shape, Eros and sheath. Can't wait to pick one up.
The Guardian is a pretty cool, compact, and strong EDC alternative....ahhh, we like choices! -nutnfancy
+nutnfancy i carry the cold steel spike bowie every day. Use it as a neck knife

I've had my CF handle, black bladed Guardian 3 for a couple of months. I'm really happy with it - thanks nutn, another good vid!
I EDC a Ka-bar bk11 and love it! Pretty light and not noticeable
I carry two knives daily. A mini Griptilian and Buck 119 and sometimes swap in a kabar. I have a small landscape company in Florida so the fixed blade comes in handy.
Dude, you don't know how long I've been waiting for this video and at this point I'm guaranteed to get this within the next year.

Really cool knife, had to check out their website. They have a lot of great finishes and colors, very impressive. Great KRVs last couple days.
this is on my buy list. I wanna start carrying horizontal small of back and it is the right set up. I just wish the Guardian 4 had same sheath.
My knife edges are never dull nutn'. Not since you convinced me to but the Edge Pro Apex. Dang I love that thing!
I like carrying small fixed blades. Been EDCing a CS Super Edge for years. Thanks for the great review, I like this knife a lot but probably not enough to pony up for one. Also, nice Endura! I got a Delica in HAP40!

+Christopher Herinckx well i guess its about time, sorry wallet. now i have a reason to hide behind when the wife gets mad lol
I carry my FFG (limited edition) Guardian 3 with the kydex sheath almost daily. Love it!
Been looking at this knife for a while. Thanks for the solid review.
guy came in the grocery store I work at with a short kbar in a belt sheath... first person I've seen other than myself
i carry a esee izula everyday on the belt horizontal. I took a niteize 360 degree rotating belt clip off a flash light holster i had and put it on the sheath the izula came with i love it. very versatile. i have it for defensive use i have a SOG multi tool that i use for basic cutting tasks.

My TRUSTED EDC Load out.
ESEE Izula (Dsrt Tan), Micarta scales, Kydex sheath, Tek-Loc *Cross Draw*
Coin Pocket Pro-Tech Runt (Blk/Blk)
+Thizlamic I edc the Izula g10 handle kydex sheath tek loc scout carry
+H.I.S Survival 10-4 Copy that.
+Thizlamic I didn't like the Micarta scales as much as a nice paracord wrap. Still I've been carrying the knife for about 3 months. Great EDC.
Didn't see this review coming. There are a lot of paratroopers in Alaska carrying this knife everyday. I bought mine about six months ago from a small shop in Anchorage. My edc knife is a smaller version of a kbar fighting knife I find it works well for most of my daily tasks
I would pick a fixed blade if I had the choice . The knife looks really nice :)
- Martin
Nutn, loving the rapid fire KRBs!!! It's reminding me of the old days of TNP! Please keep it up!
I've had the guardian 4 for about 5 months now, awesome wilderness blade
I definitely remeber a guy you gear checked with a fixed blade. I think it was in front of a gun store, it was a younger fella. circa 3-4 Years ago :)

Man, really surprised no mention of any esee knives.
I do daily. I carry either an izulu 2 or a spoken street scalpel by TOPS. I love this carry much easy to get out and back.

I went back and watched your video at Blade HQ, this was one of the knives that you highlighted.
I EDC a buck Gen 5 everyday, great smaller knife. Have edcd it for about 4 years now. Probably heavier than those though.
I guess I'm an oddball, I carry an Endura 4 SS ComboEdge. It's 5.6 oz but feels great to me.
I not only carry a M-Tech spring assisted folder, but I also carry a P99 made by Walther. For those sensitive about weight, this is a very heavy knife. A fair bit heavier than a K Bar.
Looked at it, I'd rather just go with a Fairbairn-Applegate at that point.
They definitely look like a better EDC knife and so does the Recon Tanto by SOG, but they're a hundred dollars or more. I got my P99 for right around 25/30 bucks.
*Cold Steel, not SOG.
All Games Ah, I couldn't find the price for the Walther. To me it just looks so off, I'd rather go with something else; I really dislike the serrations and how they did the back of the blade. It doesn't seem bad, but really isn't for me.

Thank you for the great video ! tjl
i like the looks of the guardian. if i had to choose from all the knives in this video i would indeed take the "Guardian 3" or the "Gryphon M10"
Awesome! Never thought of the horizontal carry for a EDC fix blade.... Hmmm.... A contender for me!
Sweet, Brad is an awesome guy to work with as well! I cringed when the other knife at the end bumped the edge of the Guardian 3 😨 will need a little touch up on that edge 🔪 Great video
I carry a SOG Instinct Mini fixed blade as a neck knife every day. Use it the same as a folding pocket knife, just easier to maintain IMHO.
yes! excited to watch this, been thinking about getting one of these bad boys for awhile now.
the guardian seems like a good blade, but a bit overpriced for it's features. for around the same price you can get most smaller bark river knives in A2 w/ synthetic handle scales. i prefer convex grinds and using a strop to typical profile edges & sharpening. i am one of the minority who actually carry a fixed blade EDC, all the time. i'm glad you showed the bark river knives..
because my EDC is a bark river mini fox river, in cpm s35vn.
Bark River have better alternatives to this for a small fixed EDC. Top shelf finish on them too. And stylish.
+BonesTheCat I love both my Guardian3 and my Bark River. I need to get a smaller BRK, as I now only have the Bravo 2. These are both amazing knives, but I too would give my preference to Bark River. I feel they make the best knives on the planet.
+BonesTheCat What are your favorite/the best options for bark rivers?
What makes this better than Izula for a small edc fixed blade?
100% agree..csk code 4 2015 cts xhp or go home. the steel will fail before the lock does and its pretty damn good steel!
I carry a Benchmade SOCP dagger in the city, and a CRKT M-21 in the country. Every day.
I gather the movie Psycho really had a big impact on your systems lol.
Great video nutn!
Ha! Nutn' I keep a Kabar D2 knife as my shower weapon. (My friends think I'm nuts for it but whatever)
+May the Schwarz be with you you sound smart, but your friends are a bunch of dopes.
+May the Schwarz be with you D2 in the shower?!? you are nuts!! lol...but seriously hows that D2 holding up to the moisture?
+MorbidMinister666 No rust whatsoever. (I too was originally worried by rust) I keep it in a custom kydex sheath by Raven Concealment.
I only carry kabar
Another great vid; thank you! I like the KOA option. I love to carry my KOA Yukon belt knife on a regular basis. Thanks again.
I used to EDC a fixed-blade knife.
CRKT Minimalist. Sharp enough for what I needed.
I just started carrying the minimalist in the mini bowie version(neck carry) I forget I'm wearing it. It's sharp and a good utility shape. I'm
also now testing the Cold steel Counter TAC II, (definitely a small defensive/ tactical knife) the sheath isn't great but I just clip it inside a belt loop in the back and forget about it till I sit in my truck. Then the carry method shows its drawbacks.
I carry my seal pup often, but not everyday.
Usually during hunting season or when i'm on longer trips.
it does look nice , i like the size and shape too .,needs to lose the jimping . love the sheath . that hunter looks good too the Kershaw is a nice little one . never cared for a tanto blade ,don't know why i just never did . now that Gryphon is a real nice knife . the bark river is beautiful , and the fit and finish is better, scales are better . all in all, a whole lot of great knives , and great info . always gain knowledge from your videos . thanks Nutn .
Hiking or hunting I carry a fixed blade but Seattle is not fixed-friendly. I usually go Delica, because they're awesome.
I had my fixie EDC at the Layton gathering: a small Scott Gossman design. Carry a fixed blade as an EDC 30-40% of the time.
I love the desert owl patches, very handsome.
I've been carrying my Hogue EX03 with the hawk bill style, and i've really been loving it. The sheath that has the belt loop thing on could use some work but other than that its really cool. I've been using it as my tactical blade but it does get some edc use as well. You should check it out nutn!
I edc a gerber ghoststrike fixed blade, and I love it
Great looking knife. Might need to replace the Timberline mini pit bull with one of these.
I always rock my g19 but when I got outside my small town I carry a benchmark adamas fixed blade.
Ive been thinking of carrying a fixed blade. In Cali you can open carry a fixed blade and I dont have the $300 for a concealled carry permit
Would like to see a review of the White river backpacker/Caper series, great little EDC's. The guardian 3 is going to be my next purchase.
love to see the KRV's Nutn, so much good info
I carry my fix blade around the neck. thank you for the great review. this is one of your calling bubbalove
on the wish list it goes. Legal to carry in germany as opposed to all locking folders that one can open one-handed.
I carry an old marttiini lynx every day, it's a wonderful knife!
the marttiini knives are cool sheath too traditional for my carry
You're awesome! Thank you for all the hard work you do!
We love the steel conversations!
More later
love the tnp patches.... curious to see If doodle will turn anymore of his doodles into patches
I always have my guardian 3 in my pocket, of course I've got a tactical folder clipped to it to.
love when you have alot of knives around !
I'd love to EDC this as it looks really nice but unfortunately I cannot. (Stupid UK laws)
+ilikepork247 Dude, you all must get those laws changed. Stop the insanity.
If only it was that easy. Hell even if we have a blade that is legal over here cops don't like it if it can be opened one handed even though we have no law against one handed openers.
+ilikepork247
Out of curiosity, do they count the leatherman tools you can open the knife on one handed as illegal fixed blades down by your parts?
KamiSapmelash If they lock or are over 3 inches yes. If they don't exactly lock but are say held open by the tool folding in a way its a grey area that will come down to the discretion of the officer who stops you.
+ilikepork247 You must have been unlucky to meet a plod who gave you trouble about a one-handed opener - I've never met anyone who's had that trouble, not had any problems like that myself. But, as you say they are legal, so there's not much they can do about it even if they don't like them. Unless you are waving the things about in a dangerous / threatening manner public. of course.
CS Mini tac is so sick!
