It’s never the right time! Just do it! We just moved in 2 weeks ago. No one came to greet us in this way yet. But my 6 yr old really wanted to meet the neighbors (thanks Bluey). So we baked brownies and cupcakes and set out to greet them instead. Most were caught off guard, because you’re right, people don’t greet as often as they used to. I am glad we did it though. It was fun to bring a little hospitality to the neighborhood. Thanks for sharing your wisdom as always. You are a joy to listen to!
Hi! I've wanted to start welcoming neighbors with a little gift basket and our telephone numbers. The neighbors that moved in last winter did so right after we moved in and I just wasn't in that state of mind to do this. Making a practice going forward. I'm glad someone else finds that a blessing to others. Thank you for sharing.

I have always avoided social media, b/c every time I would look on it through someone else’s account, I always just felt awful afterwards. So I’ve kept to only looking at it once or twice a year to check up on people and that’s it. I don’t count RUclips, it’s educational/entertaining/motivational to me.

We attend a simple church of about 120 people and we love it bc it’s a small snippet of every tribe, every tongue, every nation in our little Body. People from Argentina, Venezuela, India, Dominica, China, Korea, Burundi (Africa) and Italy all mixed in with us. And we get the opportunity to love one another deeply from the heart. I also could say verbatim what you said about social media and the aspects of my flesh it ignites and sets aflame! I am so glad I have ditched it by the power of the Holy Spirit. Also I definitely laughed out loud at your “take a screen shot to text to your twin sister” line 🤣 as well as the getting her off the streets! Also me: talking myself out of dropping by someone’s home to show them kindness. I get it!! Hope that went well and better than last time…those type of encounters don’t help my bravery to love my neighbor unannounced.

Your “illustrations” are always spot on. This really touched me. I was raised in an abusive home. There were many prejudices shown that I unknowingly took on. Many have fallen away as I became a Christian and grew in Jesus. There is more work for the Holy Spirit to do. ❤ Thank you.
When I saw a new eye doctor last year my prescription had decreased too! I assumed the previous doctor messed up because for a few years I struggled with those lenses to the point I only put them on to drive. You’ve given me something to think about❤
I love for you to do an updated video on what did necessitie are for baby and the things that you love. My kids are the ages of Dawn’s kids and we thought we were done and gave away everything last year. Now we are expecting. I’m trying to keep things and minimal but it seems like there’s so much that you need for a baby.

Your eyes prefer to go without glasses and it does strengthen the muscles and improve vision. I live in my childhood home now, the last time the neighbors on either property line changed was when I was about 11 and again a year or so later! The backyard neighbors changed while I was out raising my kids, I have said hello over the property line once? The neighbor and one of my adult sons were chatting about apple trees. :)

I love the Owala water bottles! I had the 32 ounce ones, and I recently bought 24 ounce ones. I buy them at Sam’s Club when they have them because it’s a two pack. At our club, they went on sale for $10 off, so I got two 24 ounce bottles for about $25. 😮
I feel you!!! I want to be a friend where you can just pop in! But I need to get better about keeping my house clean 😂 and love that you said you will bring a child with you! I always bring my kids with me when I am doing something awkward. It’s a great buffer, and it makes it harder for the person you are going to to be upset you just showed up when you have a cute small child with you 😂
When you clean your glasses, hold by the nose bridge. When you hold by ear piece, you mess with the hinge, especially since we tendo hold the same part each time and move with the same motion each time.
Light also activates our pineal gland, when the pineal gland is activated, it can lead to a heightened sense of intuition, clarity of thought, and an increased awareness of one’s surroundings and out of thinking, worrying, judging, old stories). I find breathwork and kundalini yoga (or yoga, quigong etc. .... everything that links movement and breath and gets you out of thinking has great benefits for your mental, emotional and physical health) very helpful to get out of my narrow mindedness and into clarity, unity, trust, connection and love.
LOL. I use the corner of my shirt to clean my glasses, too, & I always wear 100% cotton clothes; so, as long as my shirt is clean, it doesn't scratch my lenses. Thank you for this message. It's so relevant to me in this moment as my adult son chooses always to focus his vision on the darkest spot in the lives of everyone he encounters, especially me. It fills my heart with sorrow because there is no light in him. Prayer is everything I can do to influence a positive change in his vision & in his life. Meanwhile, I must keep my distance to protect my spirit. I'm so grateful for people like you who speak light into the lives of others.

A friend of mine was praying for sight to improve for a while and then her eyes ended up not needing glasses at all after having them most of her life.
Firstly can I say I LOVE your new glasses! They suit your colouring SO WELL and are soft and feminine while also being super trendy. Nailed it! 😍 Also, we have a new neighbour in our apartment building and they have kids same age as ours. I have been avoiding giving them a welcome gift because I don’t have time to bake and I didn’t feel like store bought had the same effect. For some reason it never occurred to me to give chocolates! Haha. Thanks for the idea and the nudge to just do it!! :)

We only see the highlights, or maybe a moment where they made a mistake shown on social media. I have a microfiber wipe where I read, one in the car and I BOUGHT the Norwex one that hooks on my purse.....That one truly is the best.

We only see the highlights, or maybe a moment where they made a mistake shown on social media. The older I get the more forgiving I feel I have become and as far as comparison and envy just try to be the best version of myself. For decades my glasses always ended up crooked until I realized I always unconsciously pushed them up my nose from the right!
