Love the video, I have been trying to make some tip videos but I am not the best talker. * Tip if you are fishing deep water you can also do some trolling. 1st you can turn your trolling motor on to the slowest speed and then turn your player around facing the back of the boat, make a long cast, and then wait for the lure to sink to the depth you want, and then adjust the speed of the trolling motor to adjust your depth of the lure works well with crankbaits, or a spoon.
I think it's smart to explore the lake's and leave markers so when it's tournament time you know where to go. I also use the white jig when looking for spots to mark, it sinks fast and most fish like it and it doesn't snag often. I think with updates this game could be great, the fish frozen looking strait up or down or sinking below the bottom has to be fixed, snagging on thing's that are not there and some of the retrieval when going shallow into deep the camera messes up. Also Im hoping they do more with multiplayer. It just came out so I'm sure they will work on it. I like the underwater camera but think there should be tournament's without it, so it would be more real like. I do like this game more then any other fishing game. I found some great hotspots but like that you have to actually work to get nice fish. Great video and thank's for the pointers.
yes I use the white jig and crank baits to quickly explore. Since the waypoints would stop the sound I was not marking to many of them. But now I am going back and dropping waypoints for Blue catfish locations so once they are fixed I can catch a monster.

I have one question, I find it hard to read the fish finder, I'll pass over a spot where there's tons of fish, I'll try and backtrack a bit to where they were and I and up not seeing any fish. How delayed is the fish finder? And is backtracking helpful to find the hit spots again. Sometimes it feels like they just dissappear after I've gone over them.
The fish finder is a cone going out from under your boat down. The fish icons - they start from the right and move across, this represents time. When they are at the far right, thats the moment they passed under the boat

@@rysenvex off to the right off the launch dock and I was using the One knocker yellow perch and I honestly caught all the fish there didn’t even have to leave..Good lick and hope it helps..
@@deezybluffs2541 thanks, I ended up getting through it, using a Texas rigged pearl fluke at the far end where there's an L shaped point, inside the bay that the L forms, just tossing the fluke into the weeds... caught about a 28 lbs bag.

I am level 21 now and have earned 55% discount in some of the sponsors, how do you get these discounts? Is it just for tournaments or can you claim them when just fishing normally? Any help here would be great.
as you fish your following will grow as your followers grow you will be able to unlock more sponsors and get discounts on gear any time. There is a BUG in the sponsors so the discounts do not always work, Once you get 5 stars you can get free unlimited gear and free boats (Bassmaster Fishing is aware that the discounts earned through your sponsors are not currently registering when you go to purchase items)

I assume once you have gained the reputation with the sponsor and rank up that sponsors gear will always dhow as being discounted or free as long as you select that sponsor? @@ProfessorSmoothGames I'm on the xbox one still maybe they decided to leave us with all the bugs lol idk I also have issue with the snag feature I'll be no where near any vegetation and just get snagged and then if I dont reel fast enough I'll get snagged in the same spot it's quite frustrating especially since I have to rehit LT when my screen goes back underwater if I just hold it for whatever reason my character doesnt reel
Great question, I was thinking about doing a video on that and testing line size and rod and reels. I was wondering how much real life gear facts they added to the game. I did catch a 75+ pound catfish on the default loadout with 7lb test. is that possible in real life maybe?
Really loving this game. Needs some polish and bug fixes but they aren't really game breaking. Well except when you place a waypoint on the map and the sound vanishes. Would really like to see some lure animations instead of looking static in the water. Like I said, nothing horrible, just some polish and it would be perfect.
I hear you, the top water buzz baits there is no spinning but not a game breaker, not being able to catch blue catfish a little disappointed found great spots with gain blue cats that dont bait. One day I will catch them thanks for watching
you can switch your load out before you go fishing. and you can always add rod and reels to them or make your own loadout. I made a custom loadout for catfish and one for St Lawrence river
So for folks like me, who CANNOT go fishing in real life to get the experience needed to know how to pick rod/reel size-gear ratio-speed-action & how to pair those elements with the lures/baits & techniques we want to try. And there is NADDA online to help with that. Why keep the things that make this game fun from so many would be players? Don’t tell me it’s be cuz you don’t want other players to be skilled enough to also win & enjoy this game! Cuz that would be a petty F-U to folks like me who CANNOT do this in real life

Game is soooo broken. 3 times in a row the game froze during round 3 of tournament(ray roberts, but it’s happened on multiple maps
