Thanks Don for reacting to Hawkshaw it's probably early 60's because he died in 63 in the plane crash that also killed Patsy Cline,Cowboy Copas and pilot Randy Hughes Hughes was Copas son in law
Hawkshaw was from Huntington, WV.
Never heard this song before. Really Cool! Dude had a great distinctive voice.

MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC....
Not country music but probably the oldest song about a jukebox.
We had an old 1950s pinball table that played for a nickel. The night Grandpa brought it home and plugged it in, we all started patting ourselves down for small change, but it seemed that nobody had a 5-cent piece. Grandpa remarked, "Never had a nickel to put in 'em back then, either."
That's a great choice Don, I hadn't heard it in eons. It was released in 1960 and I can still remember hearing it on the radio back in the day. I don't think it got very high on the charts, but I always really loved it. Thanks for the terrific reaction!
My wife left me for a married minister. She didn't ask for a divorce until he had asked her to marry him. I won't date a married woman unless she is at least legally separated.
If you haven't. You need Alabama- Jukebox in my mind.
Hey Don, please react to Somebody Wants Me Out of the Way by George Jones! You’d think it’s clever!
Here's another one for you to react to... "Put A Quarter In The Jukebox" by Buck Owens
I’ve just found you but you’re awesome and I’m going back through some of your old ones too. I don’t know how long you’ve been doing this but you’re doing a great job.
@melindamitchell-ph8jy I’m glad you found us here-welcome to the club!! The folks who post are really kind and thoughtful, and know their stuff. I’ve been doing it for just over six years and haven’t missed a day. 😊
