Actually, a lot of the comedic vibe of the video comes from the main "actor" who is a very successful german RUclipsr. "HandofBlood". He is doing gaming videos mainly, but has a very special "comedic" take on them. He very often dresses up in costumes fitting the game or does a lot of funny context around the games. I think he was a very good choice for the video! ;)

@@DGARedRaven they also made a short film called "Der Ballerman" as a promotion for WorldOfTanks, and if you speak at least a little german, i have to say it is a must watch, regardless if you're interested in WoT or gaming in ganeral or not. i cant describe it, but there is so much passion in those videos its scary

And the day after they will told to change their name. If a Canadian football team that has owned the Eskimo name for over 100 years has felt the need to change then good luck to this band. Music was ok as well though.
You want more weirdness a German band could muster? Check out We Butter the Bread with Butter (yup that's the band's name). Their song Dreh Auf! is catchy to my ears.

I came from an eskimo callboy reaction videos binge and landed on this channel. I loved that the "reaction" took a "review" format with actual analysis of the content adding value to the original video. Not just being there laughing mindlessly.

This guy from the video is not a guy from the band. He's a famous german Gaming-RUclipsr called "HandofBlood". And yeah, you are right, the drummer won The Bachelor in germany in 2017.

I love you man. You have the expertise and vocabulary to formulate what I always felt in their songs. Many friends of mine only classify them as a "joke"-band because they don't take them seriously and I always told them that they didn't listen to the song closely enough. Each song has such a huge variety of different elements, which keeps them entertaining throughout the whole duration. The contrast of their screams and the clear vocals are unique and so harmonic. AND ONE MORE IMPORTANT ASPECT OF HOW MUCH CONSIDERATION FLOWS INTO EVERY SINGLE SONG: I have seen them live 3 times already and they are by far the best liveband I have ever seen. When experiencing MC Thunder, live performed, one will inevitably notice that they clearly think about the live-performance aspects of a song during production and push it to the limits. It's not a
coincidence that many songs of them sound awesome on a record and live.

Since I‘m German aswell (and half Brazilian) I‘m so proud you like them! I always get in a good mood when I listen to their songs which I usually do while getting ready for a night out. But my favorite still is „is anyone up“ so I hope you‘ll react to this soon 🤞🏻

Someone in the comment section mentioned about We Butter the Bread with Butter. You'd like them if you enjoy Eskimo Callboy. They're living meme lol but their music is intense and as someone who doesn't listen to deathcore much, they sure made it enjoyable.
Actually the guy in the video is a funny german let's player who is a fan of Eskimo Callboy and got invited in at least 3 music videos of them.
Two things:
1. New Eskimo Callboy premiering tomorrow, "Hate/Love". I'll be there if I'm still up at 6 am!
2. Anyone else catch the BAND-MAID live concert stream last night/this morning? They are so amazing, even when the audience participation bits are a bit off due to lack of a live audience. lol. The Akane-cam was especially delightful!

The instrumentation and production, the humor of the video's are the parts that I really enjoy with this band and, if their music was just that, I would be a fan. As usual, I enjoyed your reaction and breakdown because it helps me appreciated the quality of the music and the skill it takes to make it. However, any song (not just this group) which has the growl and/or scream vocals, those kind of vocals are just not pleasing to my ear. In this case, I go from bopping my head happily and laughing at the video to wanting to find a song the pleases me the entire length of the video. Keep up the great reactions Chase, all though I have not enjoyed every band you reacted to, I have enjoyed trying new music even when I end up not enjoying it as much as you or others might. Its always fun to try something new. I do wonder if they have a song where they do not use scream/growl vocals. I may have to look into that.

This song is phenomenal live. Nico and Kevin work so well together, and the rest of the band pick up on that and just sound so much tighter. If you ever get the chance, you really should see them live!

Ah you mad man, bringing to light technical playing vs technical thinking. Savvy writing, composition, unique grooves. Ideas I've seen lost on my proggy brethren far far too often.
The post hardcore sound is usually not my favorite but I have some exceptions lol.

After watching the todays band maid concert for the third time...a new chase video is a good ending to this awesome day.
The main actor is HandofBlood a german RUclipsr. He also played the end of Hypa Hypa with his company and yes in the end its David the drummer with the roses from bachelor. He has won the bachelor but at release of McThunder it wasn't showed in TV.

I cant put words on it.. in theory i should hate this.. im not a big fan of metal core screams, i hate that 90's techno/dance synth thing.. the lyrics are cheesy... and i just cant stop smiling! :D it makes me so happy! ;D
