Hi Dashy and Dad,👋 It's nice that you also take a look at the more serious side of EC... not many people actually do that and it's a huge shame. EC aren't always funny, but they're always great. People see the fun stuff and discard the rest - accordingly the serious songs don't create as many klicks and likes which results in very little attentions for songs like 'Mindreader'... and it's sad. It belittles such a large part of their talent. These guys are way better musicians than the world gives them credit for. So, thank you for looking at and liking their darker side. Worth mentioning here is the work of the award-winning makeup artist Kami, who has already worked on several EC videos and is a friend of the band. He also sometimes appears in the videos. I like the demonic appearance of the lady here. She looks so fantastic.
Just returned from their concert last night. It was a BLAST! Moshpit during "Parasite" and "Mindreader" was INSANE! I took my teenage sons and they were so happy 😁 I must admit, that energy on EC concert exceeds anything known to me before ❤
'Prism' is probably my favourite serious song of theirs from the pre-Nico days when Sushi was the singer. Nico actually used that song as his audition piece, and they still do an excellent acoustic version of it.
There is a guy who used to do reaction videos, who got to know these guys in EC, and they ended up hiring him as their tour manager for their US tour last year. They loved him so much, they ended up inviting him to come to Germany and be their tour manager for the European tour. He's been doing tour vlogs- showing what it's like behind the scenes on a tour. And he wears a body cam while he's doing all the backstage things during the shows. Those vlogs are nothing short of amazing. He goes by Tank the Tech, and you guys should definitely check out his EC tour vlogs. I really think you'll like them.
