I think this is why I feel very passionate about taking time to date my husband at least once a week. I don't want our relationship to become distant. I love restoration stories though.
Even in storms and valleys God is still faithful..
These testimonies are such a blessing to us even single ones to understand that even Godly ordained marriages suffer challenges and to avoid such mistakes in the future..

This is bad news. But at least he takes responsibility. Watch the few on here where wives cheat and they say " I was not good enough" and play the victim , and the narrator says " they " are in a bad place. This guy is responsible for putting unforgettable damage to her and their marriage. Hope they can grow and heal
Amen! Tim and Lisa.. Holy Spirit healing is truly supernatural restorative love of God! My 20 year marriage ended,
but my ex and I have forgiven each other. You and Lisa and family are blessed to have been protected from
the evil one by surrendering your hearts to Jesus. I believe demons try to enter into our mind evil thoughts
from young age. Couples in the Lord should not marry until they deepen in scriptures on 'the bride of Christ".
We wrestle with powers and principalities of darkness. Put on the armor of God. amen.
Yeah I have never been married. But I realize that it is better to start in a relationship when two people are spiritualy right with God. Its important to be healed and to forgive also. We dont want to go into a relationship with baggage that can be damaging to the other. Even so, God works miricles and can still use us in our brokeness. We have to protect our marriage. The private conversations were the beginning. Sin builds as it goes, it's like a tornado, gets bigger and more able to destroy much. God can heal what we are willing to surrender. ❤

Forgiveness takes the weight off the cheater and puts it directly onto the innocent person. How’s that fair? One strike your out is the only possible way to live.

I have hurt my husband so badly. He deserves to be without me. He still has time to have a happy ending. We had our problems but he never deserved what I did to him. God please put him in a better situation. I will die miserable. That is what I deserve.
When you are in the pit of marriage and divorce is done and your partner needs God pray that this relationship with JESUS CHRIST is good God will restore you.

I just sat here reading all these other comments feeling a pit in my stomach.
I’m 42 years old now. My relationship with Tim happened 16 years ago. And still . . . it’s the only thing that can make me physically shake when I think about it.
One of my classmates sent me this episode in 2017. After being discarded by Tim, having my reputation maligned by his wife, and having my education be called into question at the time, I was happy to leave my graduate studies early so I could finish my degree from another state.
It wasn’t until I was in counseling to deal with the ramifications of a childhood perpetrator years later that I would even face the heartbreak that occurred as a result of my relationship with Tim.
We had a whole relationship. He makes it sound like it was a one night stand. It was a second trauma to see this story.
Today, I am a healthy, strong, creative woman who loves the Lord with all her heart. Healthy, strong, and creative by and in Christ.
I’m also angry that this narrative has been allowed to exist on this platform for so long. It’s a second trauma that isn’t fair.

I do understand. It can be very difficult how humans haven't situations. The playing with stories can hurt as much as the incident itself.
I've experienced extreme tragedy, and people playing with my "story" traumatized me very badly.
Not religious so I can't particularly relate to that part. But the rest I very much can. More than I ever want to admit to. I just hope that your life is in a shape that works ok for you.
My wife betrayed with an underworld mafia leader and abducted our little boy to Asia and shot me out. And my CEO fired me from my government finance director job whilst dealing with this trauma.
I totally collapsed mentally and physically and couldn't drive wash anything.
I want to go.
idk person has to take accountability as well Tim was wrong and the affair partner morally is wrong if they knew the person was married and continued to do so yes he would “discard” you because he was married
People kill me if you were married or one long term relationship you wouldn’t want your husband on top of someone else either
We all make mistakes lesson learned actions have consequences heal from your trauma and keep it pushing

Just starting to make me feel like when you get married I guess people get bored of each other of being with the same person so you might as well prepare yourself to get cheated on at least one good time I shouldn’t even say stuff like that but honestly that’s how it’s starting to feel
