      I have men I have been with for years and never got with them. If you can't trust your man it's one of 2 things. He's either a sex addict or he's not into you and he's looking for something else. I've meant so many Christian women who are juts so terrified of their man being interested in another woman. Jealousy to a sick degree. If you have to hide your man their are other issues.

    I always like honest testimonies like this where the spouse owns up and the couple survives. I live in Trinidad where it’s not so easy. I was condemned for my affairs, my family abandoned me, my ex husband told me to leave him alone and that he don’t even thinks he wants to be my friend. Forgiveness for adultery is nonexistent here. The culture is if a spouse cheats on you, “ kick them to the curb”. I tried everything to make amends, to make things right. God told me to fight, but I’m scared that I don’t have any fight left. What hurts the most is that I thought being honest was a good, redemptive thing, and that people would rally around me to help. But just the opposite occurred. But I’m not giving up, I did and still love my ex husband. I’m just fighting differently: on my knees. I’ve left my marriage in God’s hand and I’m hoping that he can forgive me and I can forgive all the people who judged, insulted, took advantage of me and condescended to me. I’m still dealing with everything day by day, it is a daily process. I claim a victory when I don’t cry for just the one day. Pray for the other Standers, bless your heart, the wife for forgiving your husband. God bless you both and don’t forget to pray for the Restoration of other couples and families around the world.

      Celena Oxley hold on Celena, God will not abandon you. HE will do what God has to do to make both you and your husband get rid of the junk you both are carrying. Separation can be a good thing sometimes so you can work on yourselves. Been there done that but God is faithful and He restored my marriage as well. Trust in God’s will. Your marriage is a covenant and God wants to see that restored more than you do.

    I was married 7 years to my husband ,I loved being married to him ,we were both in our fifties, anyway at 56 he had a stroke in his sleep, at the hospital I had his phone it kept ringing , long story short ,most of my marriage was a lie also, and it was all on his phone.he died before I could even confront him about anything, that was two and a half years ago and I struggle with every word I remember coming out of his mouth was that a lie ? anyway anyone who reads this ,every hidden lie or whatever is done secretly will be brought out in the light , that's a given ,so come clean with it now, so your spouse does not end up like me, I'm better now the Lord has brought me a million miles thru it.being deceitful to your spouse or anyone is not the way to roll.

    It's sad to see the lack of grace exhibited in some comments. The Christian life consists of the now and not yet. There's an instant in time when we receive the Gospel but the working out of the Gospel is a daily occurrence.This man needed to go through seasons of repentance, as do we all. Repentance should be a constant posture if we truly belong to Him as we are not refined in a moment but over a lifetime.

    You can forgive like her when you have revelation if how much you are loved and forgiven by the Father. It's a choice. It wasn't fair for Jesus to suffer for our sins. But He did it anyway so we don't have to stay the same. This man is a Christian but he said himself that he started to care more about what others thought of him then a genuine relationship with Jesus. That is a trap. He sinned and came to repentance by God's grace. Wow! What a great testimony and sharing the power of forgiveness and repentance.

    I think this is a great story and testimony of Jesus and His power to convert and save people, and marriages. Ones' sin doesn't justify another one's. We should all turn our eyes towards Jesus, instead of pointing fingers at each other. It's all about a personal relationship with Christ. No church, pastor, works or perfect life save us. Only Jesus.

    Forgiveness does not always mean that you have to take them back, the Bible gives the person freedom to leave if they sleep with someone else, you can forgive and leave, this has given no freedom for that.

    • @rachaelireland9467
      @rachaelireland9467 5 лет назад +12

      Yes, but God can bring restoration for those willing to stick it out. I didn't say it's not Biblical to divorce for adultary. But I have heard many testimonies of forgiveness, change in the person who cheated (sincere humility and repentance and stopping all immoral behavior). It's not easy but there is beauty that God can resurrect from ashes. I know...I've lived it. If someone is completely unwilling to change then that is another story and still one would need God's counsel. But it's not hopeless with God.

    It's a very good yet difficult thing to forgive. However. Many of these videos are about a man cheating and a woman forgiving him. Many many videos, I see this storyline. Let's have a story where no one cheats and they meet with God in another way. But I agree forgiving is the right thing to do.

    Good on her , and for what looks like her genuine Christian character. But , him , like many of the female stories of change , I am iffy about. Why ? Because it wasn't a one time screw up where he felt conscience and remorse. He lied and lived a double life for 13 years ( likely longer ) . I am not his judge. But if he is a covert narcissist, then sometimes they like to confess and watch the devastating hurt and watch the person's self worth drop , and watch them stay . Not saying that this is him. Just letting you know that it happens alot. Read Shannon Thomas book " healing from hidden abuse"

    I’m curious.., where do things become codependent and where does one say it’s just being godly to forgive?!
    As I get older and see and hear more about the pain of marriage, and Christian marriage is NO different.. the more I’m horrified and terrified at the idea,
    I’ve had one long term relationship and that was tough enough.., so tough that I prefer to date in a very removed fashion..,go for a walk, meal and call it good.
    When I was in high school I was hopeful because a “Christian” boy invited me over... and then it turned bad and I think Christian guys are just as bad (if not worse, because they’re supposed to be mimicking Christ) and I feel I’ll be happier alone.
