Hello! I have bought the jd8840 model.. and there is something i don't like at all...i read the comments now..sow my floodlight also does not working in full light power. It is working in full light power for a few minutes and after it is diming to semi power.

How to know if it is fully charge?

Why it does not switch on this solar floodlight at night in automatic mode?during day time it switch off automatic.

Hello Alek, it can work about 15 hours after the battery fully charged. The lamp turn on at night and turn off in morning automatically.

How to battery replacement?
Model Jd 8840
DJ-8810 DJ-8825 DJ-8840 DJ-8860 DJ-8800 battery is not replaceable.
The Lamp is total sealed and make waterproof IP 67. The lamp can Soaked in water for one day,take out and still work again. Below video show for about one minite. You can see in the vedio.
But the lamp with replaceable battery can not be this high waterproof level. That is why we make it complete sealed and use longer lifespan battery.
Our Life Po4 battery is 2,000 cycle lifespan compare to the Li-ion battery 500 cycle.
Mine works for only 1 month. Its dead now.

Hello Napster, may I know what is the problem with your JD solar light. The original one can remove the glass and have to broke. We have new design which is tight by screws.
