Yeah I agree, bayverse is the best transformers studio series figures, I just hope figures are more available because I couldn’t find any studio series Optimus prime or ratchets and of course iron-hide anywhere, they re-released ss 44 Optimus and he basically didn’t show anywhere and we haven’t even had demolisher, a protoform I really want a breakaway figure for the concept line

The toy designers said multiple times, even live on stream when presenting him on Hasbro Pulses channel, that they will rerelease him in the main studio series line. They are only allowed to give off a limited amount of studio series figures usually at once, but that rules doesn't count for exclusive lines. So by making him exclusive they could sell more ROTB characters than they otherwise could have done. Just have patience. The japanese studio series line by takara tomy also started to sell him again. It's just a matter of time for the rest of the world.
They said that he will get a normal SS release, but they never said when, they just said at some point, probably soon. I need him so badly, & I really hope he comes out in maybe like March-May this year. He looks like an absolute masterpiece (Not literally MP/MPM. lol), or at least very close! The only problem I have is the small gun (I like the gun from the movie, but the SS version is too small), but its fine & I'd probably give him KingRise Optimus's Ion Blaster with extension (Rog/Red Cog extension piece, grey one with 5mm post on 1 end, 3 mm on the other) or the Reactivate Optimus's (If/when I get him) Ion Blaster, if RotB Optimus need more fire power. The Energon blade looks sick, the Axe from Primal looks great (I want Primal too), the paint, the transformation, the sculpting, everything! He looks PERFECT!

PvP, just for the record, mirages clear plastic actually holds up really well. I knocked one of my shelves down on top of him, should’ve smashed him to bits if the clear plastic didn’t hold up, but he took no damage at all (except that really thin piece of bumper detailing on the back of the backpack)
All said and done in less than 15 minutes. Impressive. Never had a shot a finding ROTB Prime so really hoping he gets a mass release next year. Exceptional figure though the premium edition first movie release is still very good for a SS release. Mirage has kibble issues but other that I ended up liking him a lot more than Nightbird which feels slightly out of scale next to both the Porsche, and Camaro. Really need to pick up Battletrap to round out the Decepticons if he ever restocks. 86 Ultra Magnus made my number one of the year. Finally after all these years and updated attempts a definitive G1 Ultra Magnus in the collection.
I recently just got Nightbird and what I like to do with her wings is angle them all the way to the front near the back of her head. It makes the figure look less awkward and kind of fills the backpack ever so slightly.

I think the future SS figure I'm looking for the most is Swoop. I really want to complete the Dinobots. I will probably pose them with my DVD that just contains Dinobot featured G1 Episodes.
I think my number 1 would have to be Ultra Magnus, followed by Scourge and Prime, then RotB Bumblebee, and Nightbird. Gamer edition was a pretty disappointing for me. I sold all mine off. Great video man. I love seeing everyone’s personal favorites
To me both 2022 and 2023 were the peak years of Studio Series, we’ll see if 2024 will one up them?! Definitely my favourite SS last year was GE WFC Optimus when my least favourite was the GE WFC Megatron.

I think you were too harsh on SS WFC Megatron. Hes better than you think. I don't have him, but hes not that bad. Besides the stupid knee stopper things & the slightly too small Fusion Cannon, hes actually pretty good. & I don't think Megatron in the game actually had the fold up treads, I think he was just a hover tank, so ofc the SS figure won't have that feature cuz it technically wasn't accurate to the game model & SS prioritizes accuracy, cuz thats kinda the point of the series. & the paint is pretty good. The only real problem with him would probably be his size, he might be a little too small. I have never played the game, but I think its true, that he was always a hover tank. So, you might want to reassess him a little. & I really hate the SS Cheetor cat mode with a burning passion, it looks nothing like a cat. If you wanted a cat-former, then your best bet is Netflix Cheetor or RotB Mainline (I don't have SS or Mainline, but the mainline one's cat mode is great), or probably Kingdom Tigatron. Its not like Cheetahs are licensed, so theres no reason for him to look like a man on all fours with a bear head. The bot mode is quite good, apart from the butt flap & the paint/coloring. Cheetor, as you said, in the movie was a little more yellow. He wasn't orange, he was a gold-bronze-y color. If I were to get him, I'd probably keep him in Bot mode, cuz thats his best mode. The only SS RotB characters who have an amazing Beast mode are Rhinox & Optimus Primal. Besides that, I think your list is pretty fair. & when you said that all the Core Classes are Honorable Mentions, do you mean that all of them are good? & I REALLY need RotB Optimus! He looks PERFECT, or at least VERY close! The back of the truck isn't that bad, like it could be better, but its fine. I REALLY hope his normal release comes out VERY soon, cuz I NEED him!!
Another great year for SS! Can't wait for the Pablo and Mohawk reviews and also pumped for SS24 with the 86 Dinobots finally getting completed and Bayverse making a slow but steady return. Personally I think for next year you should rank the core class amongst themselves because there are definetly some that are better than others
For me Magnus, GE Prime, and Snarl would be top three, they are far less compromised compared to anything else on the list and they have little to no issues. GE Megatron would also be higher up there as he’s very accurate to the game and does exactly what he was supposed to (once you get rid of those useless knee tabs). I ended up picking up a ton more studio series this year then I normally do and I’m glad they have expanded out past the bayverse because SS86, GE, and the BBM stuff has all been great and definitely lives up to the studio series name. Can’t wait for this years releases, especially more GE stuff and finally completing the dinobots.
Ultra Magnus (86) and (GE: WFC) Optimus Prime were both great figures, I am still a little annoyed with myself for not picking up (86) Snarl. The (GE: WFC) Megatron was alright to me but felt like they could’ve done more seeing as he’s a voyager class.
With Mirage, they HAD to focus on the vehicle mode due to it being officially licensed by Porsche. It's unfortunate, but maybe they'll release an F1 race car variant since he technically did turn into one in ROTB.
I don't agree with core classes being left behind. Yes its a low price point but it all comes to how well its executed. I maybe am just biased because i just handled ss mohawk. I was really surprised by that thing. Turned out to be quite a banger. Has good plastic, non floppy joints, head has jaw articulation, they gave a weapon that was not in the film and serves as stabilizer for alt mode so the bike is upright. Hope you review him soon.

Yo for ss rotf Soundwave, all they needed to do was just make his satellite mode more accurate and not give him a robot mode because that is what ruined the figure in the first place, and he could’ve been scaled up to a voyager! They could’ve also included him with a small satellite, added some light piping to the eyes, better paint job, and then gave him the small wires he used to hack the satellite in rotf. Overall this would have made for a dope and unique studio series figure..

Minicons as minifigures make sense in terms of size comparison to voyager figures AND it is something I can accept, but voyager characters minifigures not only too small in comparison but also limiting the pose ability and flexibility, ESPECIALLY in the ankle pivot.
Facts hasbro should have waited till the final designs were available before rshing because now we’re stuck with concept art figures that go against the whole point of studio series and because they rushed concept art stuff took slots from bayverse stuff🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Man, I was so upset that I never got a chance to get 102 Optimus Prime, he looks so freaking cool, too bad that he is WAY to expensive for third party sellers like Amazon or Walmart
I agree with most of those, I would put Scourge lower since he seems to have qc problem with plastic backpack - hinge causes too much stress on it and causes stressmarks/breaks. Same for Optimus Prime - terrible shoulders, puny weapon, half-assed truck mode and being an exclusive. Primal and all maximals were amazing, truly stealing spotlight from autobots and terrorcons.
If they are doing concept arts studio series then we need studio series Transit it will be the first live action bus transformer so having it is a must
i think Mirage and Air razer should be at least one spot higer, or maybe even share a spot, beucse they were major charecters, and i actually like there figures, and both there modes look good to me. let's not forget they sacrifsed thems elfs in the movie.
My hope is that with the 86 Dinobots finishing in 2024, we will FINALLY get the long awaited SS AOE Dinobots in 2025! Scorn or Strafe in early 2025 I hope!

too be fair, old war for cybertron megatron is a concept before they decide to make it to a hover tank cause in the game, the treads don't fold when using the thrusters. it stayed hovering on the ground like an real tank did. and with brawl, he's a hover tank. i got my information's from That Toy Guy. but hey, an opinion is an opinion. continue the good work!

Minicons as minifigures make sense in terms of size comparison to voyager figures AND it is something I can accept, but voyager characters minifigures not only too small in comparison but also limiting the pose ability and flexibility, ESPECIALLY in the ankle pivot.
They made a core Shockwave for those who cannot afford a Voyager figure

Technically all the ROTB figures are concept series because they are made 18 months before the movie released so that was before the delay
Facts hasbro should have waited till the final designs were available before rshing because now we’re stuck with concept art figures that go against the whole point of studio series and because they rushed concept art stuff took slots from bayverse stuff🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

I agree with most of those, I would put Scourge lower since he seems to have qc problem with plastic backpack - hinge causes too much stress on it and causes stressmarks/breaks.
Same for Optimus Prime - terrible shoulders, puny weapon, half-assed truck mode and being an exclusive.
Primal and all maximals were amazing, truly stealing spotlight from autobots and terrorcons.

For me the main thing that determines whether or not a transformers figure is good, is the back of the robot mode

My cliffjumper has terrible QC issues. I often times just take the backpack off for transformation.

I just bought SS106 and Gamer Edition Prime and both are really good figures imo, now waiting for a standard release of SS102 so I can get it as well tho the Black Mamba OP-01 KO is really compelling, I just don't know if the DNA Design upgrades are compatible with it, and hoping for Hasbro to reprint Armada Prime bc i missed out on pre orders
too be fair, old war for cybertron megatron is a concept before they decide to make it to a hover tank cause in the game, the treads don't fold when using the thrusters. it stayed hovering on the ground like an real tank did. and with brawl, he's a hover tank. i got my information's from That Toy Guy. but hey, an opinion is an opinion.
