This was perfect thanks! I went to Banff area twice when I was a kiddo but it has been 15 years or so since I was here. My husband has had this on his bucket list for years and decided it would be a good quick trip. I had similar items on my itinerary as you did and we are going at the end of September 2033. Good info. Thanks
We are going to visit Banff in next couple weeks, watching your vlog make me so excited about our trip. Good job and thanks for sharing your experience.
thank you for sharing! me and my fiancé are visiting from the UK for our honeymoon the first week of October too. ive just added hector lake to our list, so shocked at how quiet it was for you - the views look insane!
We parked just at the trailhead about 20 minutes outside of the town before lake Louise. I’d recommend downloading all trails and using that to find the trail head!
Hi Great video. Thanks for sharing. Wondering about bears. Should I be worried as I am solo travel? Can you share the link for the bus reservation. Thanks

Hii thanks for all the information shared! Would you say those hikes to get to the lakes are difficult? I’m planning to go because of the beautiful landscapes but tbh I’m not really sporty so I’m kind of scared 😅
All of the hikes were super easy, actually! You don't need to worry about the difficulty as they are all heavily tracked, just bring some hiking/walking shoes and you'll be good to go 👍

Awesome scenery and nice hiking trails. Not a big deal but I would have carried my sister across the river bed. Thanks for the vid!
Enjoyed your video and info. Most of the Mountain views were beautiful and clear; a few were “muted”; was that from smoke?
Very nice video
Hey Trace
Can you please recommend a hotel canmor?
Did you need snow tires when you went in October ?
Glacial till is what causes the blue color. Highly, highly unlikely that it is granite in the Canadian Rockies. Most commonly limestone.
Very good point! While it is not made up of granite, it is still widely known as “glacial flour” comprised of primarily limestone and shale. Thanks!
Where did you park for the Hector lake? Awesome spotting of this lake❤

The places that you went, does it not require min 4pax to explore?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What time they start to park for the lake Lewis?
How long did it take to walk from the parking lot of Hector Lake to that river?
Probably under an hour!
you mentioned about paying 40 CAD for 3 days.. is this for accommodation at Canmore Inn?
Hello! This was the fee for 3 days in the national park

When did you go? My bf and I are going in October
We went the first week of October in 2022!
What is the best time to go there in July or August
Planning to take my 1.5 year old. Is the hike doable with kids?
Absolutely doable with kids! May need to carry your child when crossing the River though
If I’m flying in from Los Angeles are there car rental options ?
Hello! Yes we rented directly from Calgary airport and got a nice keep for a fairly affordable price
Please tell where u lived
Any park restrooms on the hiking trails?
On all the more popular trails, there are park restrooms at the entrance and end of the hikes!
Ballsy move to take a canoe out that wasn’t yours
What time of year did you go?
This was first week of October!
Great video
