The rest system is great for firefighters working 24 hr shifts, its aways been a hamper in many games not being able to do daily progression 1/3 of the time. Such a great design.
@@kensapi it's not quite that bad. If you only play once every 3 days, you will get double loot the 3rd day, therefore losing one day. Not bad comparatively speaking.

This is by far the best video I've seen encapsulating the end game... Looks like there is a lot of meaningful content there and I like that it makes it seem like it's not the end of the world if you miss a day of progression... Litty!
Great video! One thing to note is that accumulating skill points to augment your skills is gonna be crucial and side quests and other forms of progress like rapport will give you skill points so you shouldn't skip them.

As a new player I find that this goes into what you have to do and not so much the how. Example, I’ve just hit lvl 50 and your guide says you should do chaos dungeons but doesn’t go into how this is initiated and if u need to accept a quest somewhere or start. This makes me seek more info else where. Overall it’s informative and gives me a list of what I need to research more into so Ty.
It would be really useful for new players if you put a little label in the corner that says what class and spec is currently being shown cuz some of these look cool and i have no idea what it is

im insanely hyped for this game its weird. like im in my 30s and pretty cynical when it comes to game releases but for some unknown reason i've been researching this game the past couple of weeks, watching tons of vids, thinking about joining a guild... i knew it existed and was available to play if i jumped through a couple of hoops but held off for western release. i think the game has just been in the back of my mind for so long. i remember seeing a trailer before it was even available in korea. so now with a proper release only weeks away im actually hurting waiting for it to come out. like i dont even care about how bad release day will go, i will be there the second the doors open spamming my way in.
Yeah I feel you. I'm in my 30s as well and besides Ashes of Creation this is the only game I'm genuinely excited for at the moment. I love the style, the isometric view. I actually feel like it's more immersive and creates a more expensive world. I usually don't play 1st person anyways so this is perfect for me.

Great video. Chaos legion gate is basically a 50 man raid. Once a room is filled, new ones will open till 5 min joining time is up or there is no more players joining. That being said, be there at the beginning so you can be in a full room, being late put you in a less crowded room, 20-30 people instead of 50 which makes the run harder and longer. Prepare your feathers, you will die at least a few times per gate
Unironically the best summation of end game content in the biz. Hope you also make more detailed raid/profession and class guides. That would make you instantly stand out and remain a top LA content creator.
I'm pretty excited for this game even though I keep saying I'm tired of this genre. Looks like a lot of activities to look forward to once you hit level 50. Your videos help a lot, thx
Hello Codiak, I have a video suggestion for your next topic. There are always three of us in a group. Not a single RUclipsr has created an overview of which end content is suitable for which group size, how much fun the content is, and whether quests are always identical for everyone. I'll give you an example: Each player has to accept 3 daily quests from a faction leader. Despite being in a group, all group members receive completely different quests. Unfortunately, the group leader cannot share the quests at all, so you have to complete 9 individual quests in the group, which makes playing together worse. This would be the ultimate overview for all group players who want to experience as much content as possible together.
Nice guide man One thing tho , about Gold , you only said it used for auction houses which is true but it’s also main currency in the game and once you reach T3 (which I get it , it’s not in NA launch ) you will need gold to upgrade your gear which become really important and some players stuck due to not knowing that and due to not knowing how make gold in the game ;) Can’t wait for NA launch tho , even I upset my boy Scouter won’t be available till later :(

I have waited 7 years for a release and purposefully avoided many things. However I couldn't help but peak now. There is a lot of stuff to do, which is great. I already got the plat package and once I move for a new job and apartment in April, I will also buy an ultra wide monitor for this game. I will play this game for a long time for sure. Holy Crap.. this is really overwhelming. I wonder how much hours it takes to do the bare minimum in a week. To have at least some meaningful progression.
once you are at the so called end game (lvl 50) it only takes an hour max and then you can log out and wait for the next day to do the same all over again, thats pretty much the end game.
Isn't it a bit misleading to mention legion raids in this video and set the title of the video to "Everything NA/EU Players can do at lvl 50?" Because at release we wont be able to do the raiding part at 5:07 of the video. Well have to wait at least half a year in worst case a year, till raids will be introduced into our version. Apart from that great video, keep up the good content! :)
That’s why I didn’t go into great detail about it, and shouted out Saintone, because I didn’t want to break down a system that won’t be in place. I thought it was more important to include an important end game system, rather than gloss over it, regardless of it’s available at launch, because at some point, it’s going to be a big deal

While Lost Ark has a lot of new things to offer , a breath of fresh air for EU/NA and while i am desperate for a new mmo , i really fear this type of endgame . A million systems/features , a daily to-do-list that NEVER ever changes . I'm torn between maining this game and not even touching it at all . Let's face it , the "Do Grind A for some months till you no longer have to then move to Grind B" type of system makes a lot more sense and prevents burnouts and boredom . We'll see

I'm no raider but I like to kill a few bosses. It looks like I'll love horizontal progression. Stronghold customization is always fun. I played BDM for 2 years and this game has all of its content plus another game lol.
Remember that its not a race. People like to say they're "ahead" and sure that's nice but its a game and the point is to have fun. Play at your own pace.
I played New World for quite a while (before finally giving up) and all I heard throughout my experience was people complaining about lack of content at end game. If I hear so much as a peep suggesting something similar in this game I will lose my damn mind.

Super frustrated here - none of the vids I've watched have explained the most basic aspect of gear (weapon and armor) upgrading/scaling. Basic 302 set is blue, I saw the purple set in abyss dungeon rewards as well as the orange set now that I'm getting closer to 600 I level but- do I need purple and orange gear to progress faster with upgrading? I was under the impression tier 1 gear is just trash to wear until t2, could someone explain this to me please.

Hey Codiak and followers question for you all. If you have 2 alts and one main... can't you just complete all the side quests and missions on one character and receive the roster credit without having to do the side missions 3 times?
So endgame is just to grind a few bosses and some are once a week, all that takes maybe an hour if your slow and then you can log out and wait for next day, it feels pointless there really is no end game, some say its great for PVE completionists witch i am, but it really couldent be worse, the main questline dosent even have an ending bc they never cared to finish the questline so your stuck at 6 arks so all the grinding to get item level 1400+ is for what?

How does gear actually work in this game, are you always just upgrading existing gear, or do you actually loot gear/buy/craft gear that's one thing I've found confusing so far.
Just like igneous tokens, the masterpieces have a final reward that could use all of them but there are other rewards to get that are great. How do you get more of them? I saw that masterpieces can also drop on some tower floors. Is there a way to get additional enough additional masterpieces/igneous tokens to get all the available rewards? For skill runes: can you place the same skill rune on multiple abilities? And are they also shared roster wise so that if you earn a skill rune that rune is available to go on each character?

One of our best friends who is one of our mods is also a Firefighter, so we totally know where you are coming from there and agree!
It’s only half good tho. If you skip on your daily 2 chaos runs, then tomorrow you get 1 extra loot instead of 2. Same with guardians and eponas.

How does gear actually work in this game, are you always just upgrading existing gear, or do you actually loot gear/buy/craft gear that's one thing I've found confusing so far.
You're upgrading gear, but also getting new gear and transferring stats over. It's a bit complicated and multi-layered
Just like igneous tokens, the masterpieces have a final reward that could use all of them but there are other rewards to get that are great. How do you get more of them? I saw that masterpieces can also drop on some tower floors. Is there a way to get additional enough additional masterpieces/igneous tokens to get all the available rewards?
For skill runes: can you place the same skill rune on multiple abilities? And are they also shared roster wise so that if you earn a skill rune that rune is available to go on each character?
Hi, so how is inventory managment in this game? Do you have to buy expansions of inventory? Do I have to go back to NPC every 5 min? Is inventory character based? account based?
