A friend of mine figured out that the Scenes Hack can also be done with Trigless Triggers. I didn't think it would work but I tried it with my own Digitakt and it totally did! A bit faster than setting the Fill mode for each step.

I love the concept and workflow, however, I couldn't really follow along with video. Maybe I'm just tired and need to watch it again, to me it felt a bit going all over the place.
It's a good question and something i'd like to do a video about with one of my buddies in the future. We're trying to find a day to make this comparison.
Can the sustain on the torso effect the digitakt? Does that have to be done on the cc midi mode? I feel like everyone who uses torso with digitakt doesn’t change note length
@@LiamKillen thanks for the response :) taking into account how Analog Sol uses the Torso, do you think you can achieve the same with an Oxi? What I most enjoy is live improv, and in the end, the inmediacy and "drop" buildings capabilities of the Torso are what most captivate my attention. Oxi seems to require more ahead preparation, and most jams I've seen on it are ambience (more of a techno guy). Also, for acid lines, would you still go for the Oxi?

Great Vid. I think that time is coming. It’s time to a showdown Oxi Vs T1 for drums. 😮
And see their performability features!
I’m planning on doing an Oxi one / torso t-1 comparison in the future for sure !
Yes!
Awesome! With the DT2? :)@@LiamKillen
@@LiamKillenI was just about to ask for exactly this!

Noted- thanks for letting me know 😊
Cool! Didn’t totally understand the fill glitch technique though
Hit up the Discord or reach out directly to Allan for more info on that!
Ooooh man! You GOTTA check out the Torso S-4 for sample shredding. It is SO sick. I’ve been addicted to mine since I got it.
I’d love to one day!
T1 is on my buy list.
Very very high qual - I second your decision.
Isn't there a huge overlap between the Torso and the Oxi? Does either one have an edge?
The real question the people want to know!
@@mwhitelow9312 yeah! For the people!

It's in the vault ... just need to make it happen.
Thanks for another great video! I'm new to digitakt & just curious if you could do the same with only the digitakt 2 and not using T1?
The D2 has an amazing sequencer but you can’t cover what the t1 does creatively
Sick!
Hey! Thx for watching! 😊

I haven't looked further into that but yeah it does seem like a CC / midi sort of implementation - much like with the Oxi ONE.
would the scenes hack work the same o the AR2?
I actually haven't tried it but i'm pretty sure that it would work in the exact same way - yeah.
hey what is the name of the box in the upper left of the screen? I think it's an effects box, I see it all the time but I don't know what it is
That's the OTO Boum ! :-)
MORE VIDS ON THE T1 for drums and melody!!
noted ! :-)
@@LiamKillen can the “scenes” trick at 2:30 work on the AR2?
Oxi one or T-1? both on stock right now and I can’t decide
IMO…oxi one. But it REALLY depends on your approach!

I have them both. They are equally desirable!!
HAPAX lol
Check Analog Sol's post closely. He's not making the tunes up on the fly. @@yerko_squadrito
