missed out on the Ares S x Cadmus xmas cable here in Tokyo... so I just picked up the Eros S 1st anniversary edition, maybe I will get Cadmus 8W as well later down the line...
Moondrop Variations better Ares S or Cadmus? Don't like 8W so no Eros S. I like the character of silver for more transparent sound and treble energy, but sometimes I put Variations' stock cable as copper bass is just really good and the body. Daym though decision....
@@eargasmic3060 In the end I got the Eros S 1AE and man it is the best sounding cable for the price bracket. Paired it with my MKIII & Variations, heaven man. Caveat only the weight can be felt after some time. Reminding to take a break haha

Why don't you go for the Ares S. It's not lacking details or energy and will retain the bass body too.
