I’ve been saying for so long that irminsul being able to be messed with has way bigger implications than what people understand lol like you said , it means EVERYTHING that we know could be a lie …which is why I say that when Wanderer said “everything you know is a lie” has way bigger meaning than just the sky , food for thought
Not "everything", the traveler in first person experienced how the Abyss manipulated Dvalin to destroy Mondstadt and how the Fatui woke up a giant dormant monster to destroy Lyhue and then they promoted the vision hunt decree in Inazuma and spread illusions to innocent people with devastating consequences, that couldn´t have been altered memory by Irmensul or Celestia, I think Celestia might have altered Irmensul to protect Teyvat´s people from the Abyss and the Fatui.
@@tomasgrimm3086 I guess I worded things wrong lol I meant more like “everything we’ve been told” could essentially be a lie , other than things that we’ve been told by those who don’t inhabit teyvat bc I feel like people like skirk and maybe even Alice/Nichole could be immune since they no longer inhabit teyvat and may be “immune” to changes since they are no longer there and bound by its “rules”
Now that i think about it lumine isn’t a descender according to Irminsul, and nahida stated someone is deliberately changing her fate. Does this mean the “ abyss princess” and her entire purpose should be taken with a grain of salt?😂
@@RolagLondevert2563Yes but also to be considered a descender of teyvat you have to have a Will that’s capable of rivaling the world. Lore why i don’t know why lumine isn’t considered a descender, all we know is that someone changed her fate ( possibly through irminsul) so she wouldn’t be considered a descender, or maybe because she doesn’t have the will of one. I’m sure their are floating theories about why she isn’t considered one
@@imgolb99% chance of failure in the Abyss' plan, the twin goes on for the 1% that it may succeed for the people of Khaenriah. But the Abyss twin (both travellers are canon in both roles) is willing to go on for that 1% chance. Still, 99% chance of failure I guess would suggest that will isn't strong enough on its own.
"Not all those who came outside the world can be classified as descender". The Hexenzirkel and Dainsleif could be storing information inside fairy tales or different forms of forbidden knowledge
Irminsul is essentially used in FIVE stories in game. Makoto-Sakura, Nahida-Rukkhadevata, Scaramouche-Wanderer, Furina and René although in the last two the past isn't changed so perhaps it's not such a clear example (well for René even the future isn't changed really). Nevertheless you can see that Nicole and Nahida's comments treat the Fontaine quest as of the same kind as the Sumeru quests. The same concept of how much fate can be changed (some yes, some no) and the same concept of how Irminsul "fills in the gaps" to explain "fixed points" in far like someone's got to kill the blacksmiths fill-in-the-gap for Scaramouche and the something's got to flood Fontaine fill-in-the-gap for the Narwhal. In each case when fate is "deceived" it's done by someone with a constellation that is their own image, representing a limited amount of freedom from Teyvat's fate system. As for why the system is so wide open to security it feels like the fate system got broken by the war with the 2nd throne (which bust up a lot of heaven and earth) and since the Cataclysm Celestia has been asleep.
Yes. his world formula is also a form of prophecy. He too suggests that fate is fixed except for in certain circumstances, which he specifies. He doesn't declare the "fill-in-the-gaps" idea though. To be fair no character does that. It's just by observation that we can see it happening when fate is changed. @@tliehfloyd9201
Sacred Sakura's story is clearly different from Irminsul memory manipulation. The tree has, indeed, always been there, even before Raiden Shogun went to the past to plant it. We have only observed it "after" the moment it was planted (unknown number of years in the past, but after kitsune-tanuki war), but it still involved true time travel and true changes of the past.
Ei remembers when it wasn't there. Irminsul doesn't manipulate memories. As a theory there's no reason for it since the time travel stuff explains it all. Plus nobody says memories were changed. @@kotarouinugami1745
My question is, why isn't Irminsul more protected? It seems so easy for people with power to just change everyone's cognition.. Is Celestia even aware of Irminsul or do they just not care?
Neuvellete said in his character voice that the Heavenly Principle are weak from the previous battle. When Khaenriah disaster happened, Rukkedevatta was choosen to protect Irmisul. So I think it wasn't easy to reach Irmisul back then and I still think Nahida would not allow it now.
@@aloneinthelight7754 I dunno, I feel like it should be more heavily guarded, rather than just one entity. This is the knowledge and cognition of the entirety of Teyvat..
seriously, it can so easily be tampered with. who knows how much data we are unaware of was changed?? there couldve been like 8 pyro archons and wed have no idea cus we were not witnesses
However, the thing is… the events are definitely true, irminsul has a well, idk how to say it- Irminsul automatically rearranges details whenever the past is altered to make it how the events or outcomes all stayed the same. Which means that even if it’s altered the stories we are told stay the same for the most part, for example rhukka was removed and Irminsul rewrote everything to be Nahida instead. The same goes for scara, he attempted to remove himself from history however he failed and only rewrote his personal past. To fix the fact that the events in tatarasuna would not have happened if it weren’t for scara being there and the fatui taking an interest in him it just rearranged details to make it how the fall of the bladesmiths and tatarasuna incident still happened. It also still included the fact the dottore was the one who caused it. It’s almost as if Irminsul has a mind of its own and in the event of someone changing the past it makes sure the majority of details remain the same. This means that everything that happened did in fact happen. This also means that celestia couldn’t have made the blame fall on kheanriah because Irminsul would automatically fix things so that the fate of the world wouldn’t be changed as drastically as it would have been had celestia made the blame fall on kheanriah. This is also likely what Nicole meant by “the fate of teyvat is not so easily changed.” No matter how drastic of a change you try to make in Irminsul, everything will remain the same with the removal of a few minor details.
Suddenly, reading your text and the "It’s almost as if Irminsul has a mind of its own" sounds and awfull lot like a certain Oratrice Mecanique D'Analyse Cardinale... I mean... The whole point of Fontaine was to go against the "what your eyes see is the truth" part. Because the "truth" was a fabrication in and of itself for 500 years.... So... Maybe not even what we see is the truth? After all, the Traveler never saw Focalors and just heard Neuvillette's part of how everything went down for real. They witnessed Furina's act, on her own mind but they witnessed the DECEPTION. The same deception Irminsul DOES to correct "fate".
something like deleting or altering the root cause of certain things can still affect the true details of those events though. For example, if we deleted the true cause of the cataclysm, whoever or whatever it is, the tree will randomly pick a consensus on what timeline of events it was in its stead, leaving us with a misleading narrative. It means that yeah, the cataclysm still happened, the event cannot be wiped from memory, but details such as who or what caused it is unreliable because it can be altered. Like how the deletion of Scara impacted the reality of the Kaedehara clan so much. for all we know, there couldve been several descenders that overthrew the heavens by now. But by taking them off the tree everyone forgot.
@@angela.luntianbut they can’t be taken from the tree. Descenders aren’t on the tree in the first place. Hence why nahida says the twin having data in the tree means that they are from teyvat.
@@angela.luntianalso I mean yeah, ig Celestia could’ve framed kheanriah but like, actually this would make way too much sense… the kheanriahns remembering the truth and hating that Celestia framed them would make more sense than every single kheanriahn refusing to admit they did something wrong. But then it would make zero sense that Pierro sided with a celestial god, there’s too much missing info for us to draw a correct conclusion. So far everything lines up far better than it does for the tatarjgami incident with the cataclysm.
You know what? I'm worried that Celestia is a fictional character, just like the vengeful blacksmith's son. While in the real world, Celestia is just an abandoned palace of Unified Civilization that makes for a convenient scapegoat.
There is some theories saying that zhongli isn’t affected by irminsul either. In one of his character story, it is mentioned that « only 2 of the original 7 remains in position of rulership, Rex Lapis and the Anemo Archon ». No mention of nahida, given that she should have been considered one of the originals. When scaramouche was wipped out, we lost all character’s voicelines about him (raiden, Childe…), but zhongli’s character story remains unchanged.
Wdym? Zhonglis character story did change following the sumeru archon quests. Its changed from 2 original remain, to 2 remain in posistions of rule (or something like that). The truth of the world didnt change but his recollection of it did
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia In his character story 5 Before : "As time passed, many of The Seven's titles changed hands, and only two remain of the first Seven." After : "As time passed, many of The Seven's titles changed hands, and only two remain in position of rulership." My english is bad and im probabily not as knowledgeable in genshin lore and havent done much research but heres my argument. Meaning of "position of rulership" is too vague here. After sumeru aq, according to irminsul records, Buer is the first dendro archon. And his story 5 said "only two remain in position of rulership", but I dont think it is referring to the fact that she was not able to exercise any control and idk what he means by that. Maybe its just me who dont get it. Maybe I dont remember sumeru aq well, but it wasnt believed that "lesser lord kusanali" is dead, record wise she just turned into a child and lost her memories. In his voicelines about buer, he says "As well as **ruling** over all of Sumeru, the God of Wisdom..." which is very contradicting to his story 5. Also, in his story, its written that he "descended" in teyvat 6000 and not born, because he raised "Mt. Tianheng" after he descended. It is very possible that he is either not from teyvat or he is someone sent by celestia (this theory new to me as well, got this from a video released today by "Ashikai" on YT). He also talk about ways of recoding history and mentions how traveler is the best option. So if even if he is affected by irmiinsul, he is probably aware of how it can alter memories. Theres also this theory about how character constellations are just the memories recorded in irminsul, which really makes sense to me. And if you believe in that and already know how Neuvillite and Morax both dont have constellation not matching their story quest. Which hints that morax is indeed not from teyvat and existed before it was created by the primordial one?
The "position of rulership" is probably meant to indicate that nahida was captured by the sages and they were the ones ruling sumeru. In regards to him "descending" this is a term unusual to describe for gods in general. King Deshret was also said to have "descender" and dainsleif says the gods "descended" unto khaenriah when they destroyed it. although khaenriah is underground so ya never know.
Does this mean that Nahida can delete Dottore from the irminsul and he would basically be “reincarnated” with absolutely no knowledge of his past like what happened with Wanderer ☠️
Yes, she can. It is probably hard to do at Dottore's punching distance. And more importantly, it would mean there is now a mad scientist in this world, and Nahida knows nothing about him.
Yea, I suspected Celestia was lying to us all this time but I also think Celestia might have altered Irmensul to protect people from getting involved with the Fatui and the Abyss, I mean, the Abyss tried to manipulate Dvalin to destroy Mondstadt and the Fatui have woken up a giant dormant monster to destroy Lyhue and the Jade Chamber, not to mention, they promoted the vision hunt decree in Inazuma and spread ilusions with devastating consequences, that was factual because the traveler experienced it, that couldn´t have been altered by Irmensul or Celestia.
nahida is still able to remember scaramouche because she has a back-up data of him in the form of a fable. (the cat story). i feel like most of the "the truth" of this world is well recorded in story books. there are lots of interesting things you can learn from the legend of the shattered halberd for example, and there is another book in mondstadt at the beginning of the game that was sought after by the abyss order, Pale Princess and the Six Pigmies. that book is hella sus because why steal the book from lisa? is there no other copies of it available? the only other time abyss order sought after a literature piece is back in enkanomiya with the book before sun and moon. i dont doubt the accuracy of the book because the snake watatsumi god got a death sentence just for taking a peek. Author even went as far as to hide the true name of istaroth because "ACCURATE" retelling of events can easily be altered by the irminsul. if we want to uncover the truth i suggest we take a closer look into the many suspicious literature pieces scattered all over teyvat....
we cannot make sense of this stories YET because we still lack of context but since the new information we got regarding the gnosis is the remnants of the third descender...... LEGEND OF SHATTERED HALBERD MAKES SENSE. LIKE HOOO BOY THAT BOOK IS THE REAL HIDDEN LORE BOMB.
0:45 well that's already not true. Cuz zhongli still knows that only 2 of the original seven remain in power. Rukhadavata was one of the originals. According to irminsul, nahida was and still is the original dendro archon
it`s like the same in the real world, the medias change history however they see fit, irminsul seems like the same type. you actualy already can see it in reality, that history is tried too be changed. most don`t even belive facts anymore they just believe what others opinions are or what there own opinion on something is. the same is happening in teyvat, all what we mostly hear from people there is there opinion on things not facts. as an example ei belived that opinion that reaching eternity is the goal too go further, but since we arived and showed her facts, she has refused that opinion now. the same with zhongli, till we arived he acted out of his own opinion, till we showed him facts, only then he changed because believing just facts. and that is happening everywhere we go, we meet people that have belives and opinions and we changed them because of facts they see after it they can`t ignore it. because facts are facts your opinion don`t change them no matter how hard you try too deny it, or no matter how hard you dislike them. it doesn`t change the fact never. so in teyvat we should only believe what we see and actual experience and nothing more. and don`t listen too paimon she infuses us with lies all the time. just listen too the people you talk too let them talk and take it with a grain of salt, allways question why, how and so on. make your brain work before taking something for granted that you didn`t see with your own eyes or experience for yourself. only then you will see the truth. and i can tell you the truth is mostly nothing good, so be aware of that beforehand.
The more likely scenario with the Cataclysm is that the Irminsul was used by Makoto and others and the third descender to prevent the destruction of Teyvat as had been originally scheduled for 500 years ago. We already know that Makoto, probably Istaroth, Nahida and the Goddess of Flowers had intervened in the Cataclysm to reduce it's severity, so why not the 3rd Descender too? It's the intervention of the 2nd Descender that schedules the end of Teyvat at the Cataclysm.
maybe alice and nicole have some connections to the abyss and abyss power can grant immunity to iriminsel's memory rewriting as abyssal power has a greater authority. Dainsleif is also(maybe) somewhat immune to iriminsel's effect and does seem to use abyss powers
I feel you are under estimating Jhongli. He is 6000 years old which means he was in Teyvate before it was established. I don't think he is affected by the Irminsul Tree and he remembers everything.
There can be a possibility that protective measures had already been written onto Irminsul, such as "none shall fiddle with the tree until a certain point\to do ill to the Celestia". With that, whoever can write or erase things, but not even a thought will be sent to confront the gods via the tree's usage.
There might be more people who are not affected by Irminsul. We were told that not all who come from beyond can be called Descenders, for that you must have a will that rivals the world. So it's possible there are more people from beyond and Alice and Nicole could be some of them. Perhaps Zhongli.
There are two others who aren't affected by that tree. 1. The Dragons: They predate Irminsul, Teyvat and Phanes rule 2. Zhongli? : This one I'm not sure of...that guy is weird
I don't think so because he's worried that one day erosion will take over him as well. But Zhongli is sus, his constellation doesn't make sense, his story says, In the beginning Rex Lapis "descended" he's bound by contracts since the very beginning of everything, he knows about the siblings and everything else but can't talk.
I have a theory that people “outside of teyvat” like skirk for example aren’t affected by Irmensul which is why she knew the gnoses were the remains of the 3rd descender among a few other things we weren’t privy too
But the Fairy tail books cant be edited by irminsul as seen in the inversion of genesis interlude quest. Nahida put Scaramouches memories in a fairy tail to hide it from irminsul. Andersdotter or M from the hexenzirkels writes fairy tales and I think she's trying to hide information as well.
Ooooh, I've always thought the Sustainer was corrupted somehow into being more "evil" than she was meant to be, but never considered she could have been mind-whammied by Irminsul to believe she's the Sustainer but she actually isn't.
People forget there's the old tree and the new tree. So which tree are the archons getting info from, is it the old, new, or both? The King the incarnation of the Primordial One and the Priest the incarnation of the God of Time forced the Gardener to cut down its branches. As far as we know the new tree needed 500 yrs to grow, and this is according to the Sun and Moon. And before the new tree was replanted. The gardener was in love with the Tree's Spirit. Guess who's the incarnation of the Gardener? The Bough Keeper (Branch Keeper) Dainsleif. He is looking for the Tree Spirit. There I said it. He has been trying to save her over and over and over and over. What do I mean by this? Do you think this is Dainsleif's first incarnation? No... Based on what I've gathered it's either his 4th or 5th incarnation. "My memory has all but faded completely... But I will always remember how much she too loved these flowers." - Dainsleif When the game came out I thought he was talking about Lumine, until the, "How much (SHE) too loved these flowers," I believe now that Dainsleif was talking about his lover to Lumine. Then Lumine took this flower to help Dainsleif with his quest, but she was "betrayed." Lumine not knowing that Dainsleif couldn't do anything because the Tree Spirit's incarnation was the one destroying Khaenri'ah. If you've read the story I bet you know who it is.
Ironically I think the best way to learn about Alice is to pay attention to what she says to Klee. In the last minigame we killed fishes, and Klee got a little story book about a race that was fighting Vishaps. I believe that race is Klees race that means Alice was in Theyvat before the rule of VIshaps it also means that the harbinger Pulcinella predates Vishaps as well. Alice tries to explain to Klee about her origin through story books because she knows how Irminsul works, and wants to keep Klee out of it. Alice race is probably one that Irminsul wants to erase out of the memory of Theyvat similar to Hillichurls. It is a history of the past that is not supposed to exist anymore, much like the Before Sun and Moon. It is very sneaky of Hoyo to hide lore inside those minigames because nobody pays attention to them or the text inside them, because they are supposed to be none lore related but since Fontaine we know that is simply not true. The Imp Kingdom is most likely a fabel told about Khaenriah. The Pale Princess and the Six pigmies made no sense before Fontaine but now the number of archons fit which means that book foretold the future, its written as a fairy tale so Irminsul cannot find it. Everything that is regarded as a dream or fantasy is not registered by Irminsul at all. It also happens to be the book that the game regards as the most vital, so there is that.
I think Alice is not from Teyvat (or, at least, she’s been to other worlds) since she gave Barbara an idols’ magazine (I’m pretty sure there’s no such thing as idols in Teyvat 🤣). Maybe Alice and Nicole arent considered descenders because of the “you should have the will to create or destroy the world” thing that Rene mentioned? Idk, I feel like the fatuis arent that reliable either (since they’re also from Teyvat), so there could be more than 4 descenders for all we know(? And abt the sibling…I wonder if they’re being affected by Irminsul too, I hope the traveler remembers to test it if we run onto them sometime🥲 If I remember correctly, Neuvillete talked abt “fate” and how he originally wasnt part of it but now he is, maybe something similar happened to the sibling and that’s how they are considered part of Teyvat?
I think certain story books are actually the MOST reliable, especially stuff in Enkanomiya. So we probably know at least a bit about pre Archon war. I also think the truth of Teyvat is it's already been removed from the Imaginary tree, and the only reason it hasn't be consumed by the sea of quanta/abyss is Irminsul. It's acting a little like Imaginary without actually being it. It also explains funky time stuff like Ei's second story quest, cos that couldn't happen to a reality on the tree.
The Genshin Impact is almost done?!!! I think we haven't even started. Obviously Irminsul is totally unreliable. We still know nothing about the lore and since yhe launch of the game our questions, Instead of being answered, are just getting more and more. I don't think we're anywhere close to the end
Celestia probably doesn’t care if people can alter Irminsul because the primordial one wouldn’t be affected anyways. It does make me wonder if the shades would be affected though. Would they be classified as not from Teyvat too since they’re basically emanations of the primordial one? They probably would be but it would be interesting if they weren’t since they were technically "born" in Teyvat.
idk if im just looking to deeo into it but at the end, the sibling says that dainsleif was the twilight sword and that he also "failed" to prevent the destruction of khaenria. im not sure about it but it feels like the twin is saying dainsleif somehow had the ability to stop the fall of khaenria...but failed in some way???
I don't think any of Dainsleif's powers are enough to single-handedly stop a catastrophe that claimed the lives of at least 2 gods and one advanced civilization. Maybe a full-powered Traveler could do it, but I doubt that. But he might have ignored an early warning sign of the catastophe, which could be used to stop it before it gathered full power. Like how we're breaking hilichurl towers before they finish building their camps. As one of Kaenri'ah's top military officers, he can certainly be blamed for something like this.
@Dawit Do you think the giant christal ( the Sinner ) has anny involvement in this ? Like he may be the one rensponseblen in the fall of khanriah and what happen right know in Celestia
if you listen to when lumine was caught the cubes made this solisafied chrunch noise that sounded like it not only killed her but it killed her through imapelment and when it did so she lost her powers and those were her remaines of her as gnosis whic we are barrowing our siblings power to fight not the gods power plus as someone saide like nahida saide she has irmansual recodreds and thats cuz they were on teyvat once and she was there first before we were and tried to leave in doing so she lost the will to raival the world this considers her not a decender but she was one not anymore shes had memories back during 500 plus years ago but the story we are told is they showed up during the cayatclisum but thats where we arent with the real lumine as aether knows her she isnt they type to go picting fights mucg less side with the abyss shes dead and in a samasara cycle through the laylines she was recorded and made a new lumine in a way this one has her memories altered by irmansual and once she tried to take the abyys crystal she was cursed and belives shes the leadeer of the abyss order which is actually skirk not lumine so its far too late to save the real lumine she long gone ad thats all due to when she was cuaght by the sustainer that sound of the cubes really sounded like she was blended into bits in there not only that lumines powers turned the cube gold so yeah she lost everything and the sustainer realized it killed her by mistake that costed them but it was still nesseacary to there plans for the archons a power needed that gave to them but as for the archons they dont know accept zhongli that shes dead and he is on a throne with that power of his sister and the dragons so yeah we can get this version of lumine back but not the one we already lost sorry its night time forgive mt spelling
1) iirc stone tablets CANNOT be overwritten by Irminsul 2) The Hexenzirkel and Nahida reveal that allegories and fairytales DO bypass Irminsul tampering, thus if you have enough of the seperate puzzle pieces you can piece the actual truth back together. 3) iirc, I might be wrong though, Skirk also isn't from Teyvat, or at least Surtalogi doesn't seem to be, so her information CAN in fact be objectively correct. 4) in the case of Dain and the Cataclysm, I would actually blame that on the sheer trauma of the event along with ignorance about the full picture and just blaming Celestia and the Archons because they are the only ones the Khaenri'ahns CAN blame aside from King Irmin, Rhinedottir etc.
My feeling is it's the exact opposite. It's everyone else in the world that is right about stuff and the Traveler is the one person who has it wrong because their memories are messed up. Isn't that a far more logical choice? Change one thing or change a million? It's the same with Ei when she comes back from Khaenri'ah and remembers the Sakura tree didn't use to exist before she left but now everyone else says it's been there for thousands of years. Ei doesn't go around like an idiot insisting that everyone accept her version of history. She accommodates to the new history, which is also the one the Traveler thinks is true, namely that the Sakura has been there for thousands of years. Since I don't know one person who insists that the "true" world of Teyvat has only had a Sakura tree for 500 years, why should anyone think that Nahida is only 500 years old? it's irrational. Nahida is older than Zhongli like everyone else will tell you if you ask them -including Nahida and Zhongli. Rukkhadevata never existed. It's not a lie. Get with the program or wander around looking like a loon insisting on your own private version of history? Pretty easy choice.
but its already been done, logical doesnt equate to rationale. this entire worlds memory is bound to a tree that anyone with a gods power can then alter which weve seen happen twice already
@caf0080 thnx for your explanation mate But still if the throne really gets deceive then the statue of the seven should have destroyed too but seems like something is waiting for us maybe in 4.6 I guess ?
You know what's wild? It's that fairy tales like Parable of the Tree and Boar Princess are the most reliable historical documents we have. Parable of the Tree must be connected to past changes in Irminsul, while Boar Princess probably records Mondstadt's part of the Archon War.
> Reasonably attractive Sustainer of Heavenly Principles Shoot your shot, king. Also, if they use the plot point Celestia used irminsul to change their own fuck up onto a whole other nation, that would be insanely dank
The top most reliable ones amongs the Archon as follows: 1. Venti: His relationship to the God of Time & Hexenzirkel (thou it will took time for him to tell us) 2. Tsaritsa: With the Fatui, (it was only second cause the Hexenzirkel is still far superior, also with agenda) 3. Zhongli: As the oldest (but currently sufferings from erosion, also honor his contract of secrecy, bringing to the grave) 4. Ei: Already existed with Makoto (but left out from Archon related matters, focus more in her training) 5. Nahida: With Irminsul (but Irmilsul was corrupted 500 yrs ago, thus only contain 500 yrs worth information) 6. Murata: Seems to have a secret she is willing to reveal to the traveler (something juicy perhaps, probably from her Dragon) 7. Focalor: With the Hydro Dragon (but Neuvillete himself still has missing memories before Archon War and until now still incomplete, also her human form is the only one left, which doesn't know anything at all)
Bruh what if none of the past is true and it’s a way to keep the real truth from humans and gods alike combined to keep this fighting amongst themselves Vs a real threat that’s controlling them. Like for example imagine someone like Otto from Impact 3Rd actually behind everything and he controlled the hes enemy principles and made u Phanes or whatever. That’s why that character looks like kianna
Uhhh I’m at the begining of the video but have you missed lore speculation that zhongli also wasnt affected by the memory change situation?? Or are we just upholding different theories?
Yop…that’s me …as the Traveler me is questioning everything …me thinking everyone is potentially a villain…Including myself 😅 Also does Irminsul grow upside down !? Or are we in the upside down !?
Irminsul's roots are everywhere. But where are its leaves and branches? well, they are in that strange cave we've seen while drugged on two Gnoses. But since we never got there with our own feet, we cannot be sure which way it grows.
History books can be altered. This might not apply to Enkanomiya, which doesn't seem to have Irminsul's presence. Fairy tales are usually not altered. Consider it like this: Irminsul acts as a lazy worker who just uses a keyword search and changes things that come with the keyword. But even things as simple as writing words backwards might fool it.
@@kotarouinugami1745 thats a good explanation so like things can be alteres but some things just don't change because theres was no point in changing then
There is some information about our twin on Irminsul, but somehow, Irminsul loses track of them over time. Which suggests that the twin found a way to free themselves from Irminsul.
As for the story about Scaramouche and the blacksmiths, you do realize that the "original" version is just as likely to be made up as any other version, right? I mean think about it. Doesn't that story just sound fake as all hell? A demi-god figure the son of the Shogun is going around killing smiths and nobody does anything about it until 3 entire clans are wiped out? Seriously???
"Seek not the master of the four shades" as it is written in Paradise Lost artifact set. And since the Primordial One, who may have been Phanes, is a reasonably nice one, there are two options: 1) They've been corrupted by the Forbidden Knowledge and turned evil, like Dvalin. Maybe we shall have to fight him, like in Shattered Halberd. 2) Somebody, maybe the Second Who Came, really doesn't want Phanes to be found.
I don't think so because he's worried that one day erosion will take over him as well. @@YesBabyYes1 yes but if he's worried about erosion then the laws of celestia and teyvat applies to him so his memories should be altered right ? But that doesn't happen.
Well...I think about the battle pass. I believe that all truth begins there. And if there is a kingdom, it is possibly Kaenriah which is located on the earthly plane like ours, and the continent Teyvat is on the same plane as ours. it would be the mantle of the earth and Celestia would be at the core. I believe that people were not created by Phanes and have always existed. Phanes may be a different dragon, born apart from the 7 sovereign dragons, who reigned in Teyvat. This dragon subdued the surface people and through Irminsul recreates memories so that people don't remember who they really are
Paimon has been everything, from the Traveler's creation (because he was lonely) to the Primordial One. That's why there is little meaning in making another video about her until we get something interesting.

Now that i think about it lumine isn’t a descender according to Irminsul, and nahida stated someone is deliberately changing her fate. Does this mean the “ abyss princess” and her entire purpose should be taken with a grain of salt?😂
aren't descenders by definition not from teyvat? how could she be from teyvat?
@@RolagLondevert2563Yes but also to be considered a descender of teyvat you have to have a Will that’s capable of rivaling the world. Lore why i don’t know why lumine isn’t considered a descender, all we know is that someone changed her fate ( possibly through irminsul) so she wouldn’t be considered a descender, or maybe because she doesn’t have the will of one. I’m sure their are floating theories about why she isn’t considered one

As for why the system is so wide open to security it feels like the fate system got broken by the war with the 2nd throne (which bust up a lot of heaven and earth) and since the Cataclysm Celestia has been asleep.
rene?
Yes. his world formula is also a form of prophecy.

They are maybe MIA , nowhere to be found , honestly !
they don't remember they need to protect it
However, the thing is… the events are definitely true, irminsul has a well, idk how to say it- Irminsul automatically rearranges details whenever the past is altered to make it how the events or outcomes all stayed the same.
The primordial one 🚨📢⚠️🚨📢🚨🚨⚠️📢📢
There is some theories saying that zhongli isn’t affected by irminsul either. In one of his character story, it is mentioned that « only 2 of the original 7 remains in position of rulership, Rex Lapis and the Anemo Archon ». No mention of nahida, given that she should have been considered one of the originals. When scaramouche was wipped out, we lost all character’s voicelines about him (raiden, Childe…), but zhongli’s character story remains unchanged.
I was almost finished writing this when I saw this comment 😭
Zhongli is the sussiest of the sus. He and Venti are EXTREMELY strange and hard to trust.
Wdym? Zhonglis character story did change following the sumeru archon quests. Its changed from 2 original remain, to 2 remain in posistions of rule (or something like that).
The truth of the world didnt change but his recollection of it did
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia In his character story 5
Before : "As time passed, many of The Seven's titles changed hands, and only two remain of the first Seven."
After : "As time passed, many of The Seven's titles changed hands, and only two remain in position of rulership."
My english is bad and im probabily not as knowledgeable in genshin lore and havent done much research but heres my argument.
Or may be they have light elenent the power that counter Abyss power but also almost work the same way, that it can gran them immunity iriminsul power

I feel you are under estimating Jhongli. He is 6000 years old which means he was in Teyvate before it was established. I don't think he is affected by the Irminsul Tree and he remembers everything.
His story quest was literally about erosion, I think he knows more than other archons but is clearly effected
Comparing Albert and Zhongli in the beginning is crazy lol
There can be a possibility that protective measures had already been written onto Irminsul, such as "none shall fiddle with the tree until a certain point\to do ill to the Celestia". With that, whoever can write or erase things, but not even a thought will be sent to confront the gods via the tree's usage.
There might be more people who are not affected by Irminsul. We were told that not all who come from beyond can be called Descenders, for that you must have a will that rivals the world. So it's possible there are more people from beyond and Alice and Nicole could be some of them. Perhaps Zhongli.
There are two others who aren't affected by that tree.
1. The Dragons: They predate Irminsul, Teyvat and Phanes rule
2. Zhongli? : This one I'm not sure of...that guy is weird
I have a feeling that he might be a dragon in some way or is one of the shades or is heavenly principles

Andersdotter or M from the hexenzirkels writes fairy tales and I think she's trying to hide information as well.
nahida used an allegory however, she told the story of cat that was meant to symoblize scarmouche, then matched it up with the travelers memories
Ooooh, I've always thought the Sustainer was corrupted somehow into being more "evil" than she was meant to be, but never considered she could have been mind-whammied by Irminsul to believe she's the Sustainer but she actually isn't.
indeed. ive often hear she could be corrupted by forbidden knowledge based on her appearance
But I will always remember how much she too loved these flowers." - Dainsleif
When the game came out I thought he was talking about Lumine, until the, "How much (SHE) too loved these flowers,"
I believe now that Dainsleif was talking about his lover to Lumine. Then Lumine took this flower to help Dainsleif with his quest, but she was "betrayed."
Lumine not knowing that Dainsleif couldn't do anything because the Tree Spirit's incarnation was the one destroying Khaenri'ah.
If you've read the story I bet you know who it is.
its definitely sus- kiana
Why is this giving me Otto Apocalypse vibes 😭
My question is, how do ppl remember all this? Game has 3 years worth of surface story and hidden lore THATS A LOT
lmfao
We don't. When I'm out of my depth, I refer to the game's wiki.
Didn't the creator say that they have the entire story plotted down ??

i think venti might be immune to irmumsul do to him talking about other worlds with other primordial beings in the manga
Plot twist: Venti and anahida met régularité in dreams when she was captive
idk if im just looking to deeo into it but at the end, the sibling says that dainsleif was the twilight sword and that he also "failed" to prevent the destruction of khaenria. im not sure about it but it feels like the twin is saying dainsleif somehow had the ability to stop the fall of khaenria...but failed in some way???

1) iirc stone tablets CANNOT be overwritten by Irminsul
2) The Hexenzirkel and Nahida reveal that allegories and fairytales DO bypass Irminsul tampering, thus if you have enough of the seperate puzzle pieces you can piece the actual truth back together.
3) iirc, I might be wrong though, Skirk also isn't from Teyvat, or at least Surtalogi doesn't seem to be, so her information CAN in fact be objectively correct.
4) in the case of Dain and the Cataclysm, I would actually blame that on the sheer trauma of the event along with ignorance about the full picture and just blaming Celestia and the Archons because they are the only ones the Khaenri'ahns CAN blame aside from King Irmin, Rhinedottir etc.
surtalogi is a norse name so theres a good chance hes from khaenriah

Also, if they use the plot point Celestia used irminsul to change their own fuck up onto a whole other nation, that would be insanely dank
The top most reliable ones amongs the Archon as follows:
1. Venti: His relationship to the God of Time & Hexenzirkel (thou it will took time for him to tell us)
2. Tsaritsa: With the Fatui, (it was only second cause the Hexenzirkel is still far superior, also with agenda)
3. Zhongli: As the oldest (but currently sufferings from erosion, also honor his contract of secrecy, bringing to the grave)
4. Ei: Already existed with Makoto (but left out from Archon related matters, focus more in her training)
5. Nahida: With Irminsul (but Irmilsul was corrupted 500 yrs ago, thus only contain 500 yrs worth information)
6. Murata: Seems to have a secret she is willing to reveal to the traveler (something juicy perhaps, probably from her Dragon)
7. Focalor: With the Hydro Dragon (but Neuvillete himself still has missing memories before Archon War and until now still incomplete, also her human form is the only one left, which doesn't know anything at all)
THE PRIMORDIAL ONE
They both know the wrath of the rock >:(
Bruh what if none of the past is true and it’s a way to keep the real truth from humans and gods alike combined to keep this fighting amongst themselves Vs a real threat that’s controlling them. Like for example imagine someone like Otto from Impact 3Rd actually behind everything and he controlled the hes enemy principles and made u Phanes or whatever. That’s why that character looks like kianna
some 1984 shit right here
everytime you say primordial one i crack up
:D
Uhhh I’m at the begining of the video but have you missed lore speculation that zhongli also wasnt affected by the memory change situation?? Or are we just upholding different theories?
zhonglis character story was altered after the sumeru archon. he is affected by the changes
Yop…that’s me …as the Traveler me is questioning everything …me thinking everyone is potentially a villain…Including myself 😅 Also does Irminsul grow upside down !? Or are we in the upside down !?
ya irminsul grows upside down
Irminsul's roots are everywhere. But where are its leaves and branches? well, they are in that strange cave we've seen while drugged on two Gnoses. But since we never got there with our own feet, we cannot be sure which way it grows.
The books are reliable?like they get altered or the people just see then as just a child story
they get alterd yes
History books can be altered. This might not apply to Enkanomiya, which doesn't seem to have Irminsul's presence.
Fairy tales are usually not altered.
Consider it like this: Irminsul acts as a lazy worker who just uses a keyword search and changes things that come with the keyword. But even things as simple as writing words backwards might fool it.
@@kotarouinugami1745 thats a good explanation so like things can be alteres but some things just don't change because theres was no point in changing then
Bro's cooking rn
THINK SO TACO?
I know I'm late don't be mad dawg
nah i uploaded this one hella early
Random question: Are there any descenders after the Traveller?
nah not that we know of
@@DawitsLookingforEmilia ok thanks
Didn't Nahida say that there aren't information about our twin on Irminsul? Do i remember wrong? 🤔
nah there is info about the twin, but part of it is being blocked
There is some information about our twin on Irminsul, but somehow, Irminsul loses track of them over time. Which suggests that the twin found a way to free themselves from Irminsul.
As for the story about Scaramouche and the blacksmiths, you do realize that the "original" version is just as likely to be made up as any other version, right? I mean think about it. Doesn't that story just sound fake as all hell? A demi-god figure the son of the Shogun is going around killing smiths and nobody does anything about it until 3 entire clans are wiped out? Seriously???
i dont know if likely is the correct word, but yes it could be wrong as well
I really want to know where is Phanes?
"Seek not the master of the four shades" as it is written in Paradise Lost artifact set.
And since the Primordial One, who may have been Phanes, is a reasonably nice one, there are two options:
1) They've been corrupted by the Forbidden Knowledge and turned evil, like Dvalin. Maybe we shall have to fight him, like in Shattered Halberd.
2) Somebody, maybe the Second Who Came, really doesn't want Phanes to be found.
I'm not quite sure if the dragons are affected by Irmisul changes since they are from the light real and prior from Phanes arrival.
isn't Zhongli immune to irminsul changes ?
I don't think so because he's worried that one day erosion will take over him as well. But Zhongli is sus, his constellation doesn't make sense, his story says, In the beginning Rex Lapis "descended" he's bound by contracts since the very beginning of everything, he knows about the siblings and everything else but can't talk.
@@thewanderingartists erosion and Irminsul are different things tho? Zhongli's voicelines don't change after messing with Irminsul, unlike all the other playable characters. I think, it's enough of evidence that he's not affected 👀
@@YesBabyYes1 yes but if he's worried about erosion then the laws of celestia and teyvat applies to him so his memories should be altered right ? But that doesn't happen.
@@thewanderingartists he might be the og dragon....cursed so he forgets everything overtime

I really hate Irminsul. Scaramouche should pay for his actions tbh.

Thank you for video make video on paimon ❤❤❤❤❤❤ paimon= pramodial one 🕐🕜
Paimon has been everything, from the Traveler's creation (because he was lonely) to the Primordial One. That's why there is little meaning in making another video about her until we get something interesting.
